This was the worst experience I've ever had on a Friday night delivering locally.I will never return to this location againI entered the restaurant and it actually wasn't busy. There were some guests in the lobby but nothing crazy. I had to pick up order for a very small ice cream sundae.Not only did I enter the restaurant and not a single person engaged with me. Made eye contact with me. Asked me when I needed what I was there for...There was even a manager glasses, dark hair and she did not bother to even glance my way knowing that I had been there almost an hour for a single icecream.When I was finally gifted the ridiculously late and undesired ice cream they didn't apologize and I won't ever return

This was probably one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. I came here with my wife and kids 1/23/24, we were new to the city and didn't know where to eat so we figured to try out this place and it was the best choice I could've made. My server's name was Amanda and it was the best customer experience I've had. She was very nice to my kids and made them smile & laugh. I ordered the Honey BBQ Melt with fries and it was spectacular. I'll make sure the next time we visit Syracuse we'll come by to Friendly's again!Kid-friendliness: Our server made our kids very happy.

We stop by here to basically just to get dessert, and the last couple of times we have been largely dissatisfied with service. Each time it has taken a long time to just be recognized and then seated. After being seated it took almost a half hr to get our waters and over an hour for ice cream sundaes. After sitting for 20minutes after our desert was finished we had to leave the table to finally just get our check because we had already spent over 2.5 hrs at the establishment and weren't going to wait any longer for our waiter to acknowledge us. Very disappointed. Will be looking for a different dessert location.

Food and ice cream was excellent, but the servers were so busy tending to all the tables by themselves wait times were extremely long- even completely forgetting soda refills and to go containers. The problem seems to be understaffing, before 4 pm there was only one employee seating guests, taking orders, clearing tables AND making ice cream. Overall a good dining experience but took 2 hours in total

I mean, listen - my large Reese's Pieces Sunday was just as good as I remember it being 20 years ago. The time it takes for someone to come take your order is way too long, but that's just because they don't have enough staff.The main reason for the three stars was just the sheer volume of trash on the floor. The entire dining area looked like the restaurant was encouraging patrons to throw napkins and straws and miscellaneous trash on the floors like you might throw peanut shells on the floor of a steak house. Too bad the paper trash didn't have the same charm as the peanut shells - felt more like a recycling bin than an ice cream/fried food joint. Still, that sundae definitely hit the spot!

Had to wait a while for a table. Seemed very short staffed. Very dirty, messes all over the floors and tables. Most just seemed to walk over the messes and not clean up. I had to clean my own area after seated. And smelled awful, like a dirty daycare. Waitress was very polite, and prompt with everything. Apologetic for the wait. Once seated food didn't take long. This was a drive for me, as all Friendly's nearby have closed in my area. I just can get over how smelly and disgustingly dirty it was in this location.

As out of country visitors, this was our first time dining at Friendly’s. The service was friendly and our server was attentive. We enjoyed our meals for the most part as well as an ice cream sundae for dessert. Our meal critique was the fries were room temp to cold and the coleslaw that came with the Fried Clam Strips was inedible. Our restaurant critique is on the cleanliness of the dining room and definitely in the restrooms could use some attention. I don’t know if we’ll be back in the future, but we wish this location well.

Great staff that were very attentive. Food was just as described. Service was fast. Who doesn't love ice cream with their meal? Very busy on Valentine's Day that happened to also be a Friday night dinner rush, but they handled it quite well!

I'm editing per owner request but I usually don't like bashing a place. I wanted to leave. Multiple times. Upon entering nobody was around, after 5 minutes we sat ourselves. The floor was covered in garbage, just everywhere. The bathrooms were not kept at all. I've been in nicer dive bar bathrooms. There was one waitress cashing out for the day it seemed, two other waitresses, a bus girl and a guy making ice cream. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but can see it from the bathroom and the part you can see was filthy. Service was sparatic at best. I'm not sure the reason but overall morally of that team was extremely low, for whatever reason. The food...was inedible. All the way around. Now we're basic people. We can get down with sandwiches and wings and Mac n cheese with the best of them. It was all gross and weird. My boneless wings texture and flavor I could not place and couldn't even get more than two down. The ice cream was good, probably the only thing that was. Took us 2 hours and 45 minutes from start to finish and that's only fast bc we sat ourselves. There were people that sat after us waited over an hour before anybody addressed them. Sadly, I don't see how this place will stay open.

Came here for lunch around 11:30 for the first time in a long while. Waitress was friendly and tried taking our order immediately. I asked for another moment to look over the menu so she said she’d be back. I looked it over and decided on my order but she didn’t return for about 15 minutes. We finally placed our order and waited for our food to come. It took a very long time. She brought the food and I said something about it taking a long time and she said no, you took a long time to order. I brushed it off, ate my food. The fries were warm but soft. The sandwich was ok at best, very very greasy. The bread was so greasy it was soggy. We finished our food and I started to look at the ice cream menu. Waitress came over and said are you ready to order your ice cream. I said I was still deciding. She said ok she’d be back. Waited about 25 minutes for her return. Placed the ice cream order and got it a while later. Nuts over caramel had soft nuts in it (maybe old) and the PB sauce was very gritty like someone put sugar granules in it. Not sure how people even go there still. We finally got out of there at 2pm. Our overall time spent there was 2.5 hours!

A bit pricy but always a good time! Brings memories back from when you were a kid and perfect place to start new traditions and memories with your own family. The food is great I get the bbq chicken supermelt with loaded waffle fries!

We usually love eating here but the location onRt 31 in clay but last night was the most horrible experience ever. The food tasted off and my son’s chicken tenders were burnt and I only ate 1/2 of my burger and my stomach was turning my husband ate 1/2 of his and we had to leave we didn’t even make it home before I was sick and then my husband got sick when we returned home. I am so upset and now out a lot of money. Will never eat here again
