Great place, for the only store within 30 minutes in any direction it is a gem. Has beer, food, and a little bit of everything. We come here at least once a week and will continue to. Also has an outdoor area so during the summer you can bring your dogs!!

Great market with a little bit of everything, with quality offerings in every category. Also their bar can sometimes be a local hangout. My go-to market in the area. Has craft beer, meat, cheese, bread, pastas, snacks, oils, spices, and more!

Love this place. What a great and necessary addition to the area—a general store! But with beer and wine! It sells everything from grocery necessities to gifts and cute pet stuff to beer and wine and snacks at a bar. And the owner has fabulous taste, so everything is interesting and well chosen.It’s fun to pop in in the early evening and have a drink with neighbors, like a little pub. And there’s a cute yard with picnic tables.

I stumbled on Van Dusen's after a punishing backpacking trip on the Devil's Path. The proprietor Will was extremely welcoming and had some great recommendations when it came to the generous selection of beers in the fridge. I asked if there was anywhere nearby I could pitch a tent and Will offered to let me stay in the outdoor area on the side of Van Dusen's. Excellent selection of goods and could not ask for kinder folks.

Awesome store. Conveniently located next to the Post Office where 42 meets 23A, They have everything for a party or picnic as well as gift and household items all thoughtfully chosen. They even have toys and treats to keep the pups and kitties happy.

Limited, but nice selection of food, beverages, home goods, pet supplies, gifts and games/crafts for kids. Kind of like an upscale convenience store. Very nice counter seating, and a few tables. We stopped in and had coffee and a draft beer. Good find.
