I've lived in 3 countries and have had pets for the past 40 years and never had anyone come close to the compassion and knowledge of the staff at the Village Vet. So grateful to have their expertise and their kindness. Our "Mackie" had surgery last week and we were so impressed by the care he received.

I brought my cat here last week for issues with his eyes. He's been doing great. The staff is very friendly and great with animals. Rooms are very clean. They were very quick to figure out what was wrong with Snow and treated him.

Dr. Ruest and her staff went above and beyond to help me with my sweet girl Roxy. I couldn't lift her to get her to the clinic so 2 of her staff came to my house to transport her. I have never in my life heard of a Vet doing this.Unfortunately the diagnosis wasn't good. The kindness and compassion given to my Roxy, my daughter and I was unbelievably the best on this earth. Dr. Ruest stayed with us as Roxy gently went to sleep. Run free my beautiful girl, I'll miss and love you forever.Roxy forever 14 years, 7 months and 3 days young.

Village Vet is absolutely amazing! They are the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to. It's seriously like being a part of a family. They remember you, your pets, and they are very generous with their time and the care they give. The prices are unbelievable! They aren't running this business to make money. They are running it to help animals and families. I wish I could recommend them to everyone I care about that has a loved pet at home. They are a small clinic with limited hours though. Whenever they are excepting new patients take it for the blessing it is and get your fur babies appointments. Seriously I don't care if they are up to date on everything and super healthy. When the time comes and they are sick you will be so thankful you did... No one will care for you animal better, and they will be just as caring to you. I actually adopted my youngest kitty from here as a rescue. He is now four years old and I don't know if I've ever had a sweeter cat. Shhhh don't tell my other two. Anyways I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS VETERINARY OFFICE! ❤❤❤

This is probably the best vet office I have been to. She always takes the time to listen to me, is gentle with my pets, and gives great advice and different options. I also don't feel like I'm being overcharged there which is huge.

I love going there and more importantly both Tootsie and Gus love it there. They love the Vet tech Kris and especially Veterinarian Kristen Ruest, DVM. It is a very efficient and loving office to go to.

I have had other vets and never experienced anything like this doctor and her team. Thank you for taking care of Duchess in her last days. You all were amazing!

We brought our 10 week old Female Cocker Spaniel for her initial check up. The two receptionists there couldn't have been nicer. They came individually so as not to scare this young pup. Gave her so much loving that her tail was wagging so fast it looked like a blur.When the Vet came out, she was so gentle, so loving it was a pleasure to watch. She got her shot, and a nasal spray. plus meds for fleas & Ticks & heart worm.We talked about diets, Her teeth, she has a small over bite, Went over her ideas of what this little Cocker needed to grow up to be a healthy dog. Then asked if we had any questions or concerns.This is a wonderful place. Our little Cocker was so comfortable with everyone there, it was just amazing. Great staff, great Vet. I made a great choice for our Pup.

I have recently adopted a mixed breed german shepard puppy Rex, from a rescue agency and was looking to establish a veterinarian for any of his future needs. He has received his shots and neutering through the agency and I wanted to get him his first check-up, and to check out a slight concern with his one eye. I happened to drive by The Village Vet and decided to see if they were excepting new patients and if I was able to get an appointment for Rex. They informed me of a cancellation that they had later in the day and I could take it if I could make it. I returned with Rex and and found an extremely welcoming staff, from the front desk, the vet assistant and Dr. Kristen, who with lots of love, care and expertise gave Rex a complete check-up from head to toe and answered all my questions and concerns. Rex is a happy guy and found a great veterinary clinic. Thank you all so much for having such a great team!

Ok now usually I don’t do reviews but however I think it’s time lol. My dog will be four years old on Valentine’s Day. These wonderful ladies have been working with my guy since he was six weeks old. I’d have to say the service that these ladies give is beyond exceptional. They always go above and beyond and more every time we visit Village Vets of Lewiston. I have never been to a veterinarian office that has given the service that these ladies give. Not only do they have a relationship with my dog, but with myself and my children as well. Even though my dog can be a pain in the butt, they still adore him and give him the best service. So not only does my dog enjoy visiting this office, but my children do as well. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Keep up the great work Village Vets. You all are amazing!!!

We recently moved to the area and decided to try The Village Vet based on the great reviews. Dr. Ruest is wonderful. She is kind and friendly and wonderful with our animals. She was also very kind with my son. I was not disappointed with our decision to have them care for our animals. My dog has skin allergies and had a bad flare up and Dr. Ruest got him fixed up with some meds and he’s doing well now. Our kitties got a checkup and they’re all set. Happy to have found great vet!

Best vet i've ever been to in a long time! Well, along with my cat who agrees also, she was the patient, not me! Amazing staff, professional facility, i hope other vets follow their work model & policies in the future, then there'd be a lot more happy pets & pet owners! There are going to be those sad vet visits you can't avoid, i know i will have them in the future as pets age, or may catch something, that's unavoidable, but Village Vet will be the place i go, & i'm sure those visits will be slightly more tolerable. Perfect score for Village Vet!

Kristen is wonderful with our little Nate. He’s a Shih Tzu rescue and has a 6/6 heart defect. We adopted him as a hospice home because he was diagnosed with the heart defect and he was not supposed to live more than a few months. Dr Kristen put him on medication to treat his heart condition and now 3+ years later he is doing very well. She says that he should live a rather normal lifespan now and we couldn’t be happier. He deserves and gets a nice life full of love and attention and he has responded amazingly well.

Wonderfull. Doc Kristen is the best and my dogs love going there. They don't take your dogs to another room like alot of other vets to hog tie them but do everything in front of you and your pet. Staff is great. Very positive energy there which works for your pet. Keep up the fabulous job lewiston village vet.

My feral Kitty hit the lottery this week with the Village Vet of Lewiston. He needed to be neutered and he had been limping and then hiding out for a couple weeks. I was able to trap him and get him right in to be neutered and have his leg x-rayed. Dr. Ruest and her staff took excellent care of him and he will now be able to live a happy, healthy life. I'm so grateful for their skilful care in helping our community cats!

Love this Vet. She tries so hard. There has been a few times that she is behind in appt. But I know that means 1 or many fur babies needed extra attention. A couple times that was mine and I really appreciate it!

Never had a good experience at this vet. Have been there twice, they were not welcoming at all, and had no compassion. Then when we had an emergency situation it felt like they couldn't be bothered with helping us. I asked if I should bring my dog to be treated at an emergency clinic or if I should wait until they were able to see them and the response of the receptionist was "I don't know what to tell you." Grand Island Animal Hospital runs circles around this place! If i could give them zero stars I would. Never take your your fur babies here!! Needless to say we switched vets.

Highly recommend this vet for anyone in Youngstown , Lewiston, Ransomville area . Dr Kristen Ruest is a very good vet I've always trusted her recommendations for treatments and diagnosis. The staff are very caring empathetic. They will treat your furr-family member just as if they were there own.
