This place has both good and bad.The good is that it is located closer to my home than most grocery stores. They also have good prices on some of the products and food they sell.The bad I that they require a paid membership. So you would think they would automatically apply any coupons or discounts to the customer automatically, considering I pay over $100 a year for this membership. Nope, I must either clip or add coupons digitally to the app. This takes up a lot of time. Then when you go to pay the coupons don't work all the time. With paper coupons, you must call someone over at self checkout to help make it work. If it's digital, you don't notice until you get home. Then, I must return to the store and wait on another line to get the digital coupons back. I add every coupon in the app, so this should not happen. Big pain. It's also cheaper to buy certain things at the supermarket. They are robbing millions of dollars in coupons from customers with this scam. So, all of you who use digital coupons check your receipts.

OK I’ve been going to BJ’s for years. Love, love love buying in bulk and saving money don’t you! But after a while, you realize that you can’t buy everything in bulk. 🤪That being said, there are many many things you can buy in bulk lol. Their prices are pretty good and then when you add your coupons, it’s even better. Customer Service is very good they help you out whenever they can. Self-serve register needs a little work like all of them. They mess up a lot, but the representatives that work the register do an awesome job. So if you haven’t been to BJ’s,(maybe you go to the other one’s that starts with a C or an S), Try BJ’s let me know what you think

We have been BJ’s member for very long time. It is a store that sells quality and brand-name products at discounted price. We do our grocery shopping here. Are we have bought gifts and toys and clothes here. Closer to this location there is no gas station which is a negative but all the stores around it make up for itIt is sort of in the central location, so when you are shopping for other things, you can go to this one as well .

Well stocked and super fresh produce. The deli guys are great, esp Carl and Derek. Check out the deals on credit cards with great rates. Liz was especially helpful and knows her stuff! Nour was a big help with an online order as well as Hilonka. Kef was so helpful and gracious enough to help bring my order to my car. Love this store!

Overall good place to shop. They hold a good inventory of most items.But customer service is yet to improve. Some employees are reluctant to serve customers. If you ask any questions related to products, the often answer is “ I don’t know “

I come here a lot with my family.The food market is good but they need more toys and books for teens.I myself, am tired of just seeing little kid toys on the shelves.When I rarely find a teen toy it is expensive and almost out of stock.Also Wallpaper is boring I am also tired of just seeing gray walls wherever I go.I try to avoid this experience when I don't need to go.Me and my family are loyal and repeating customers.I know you guys can't fix the wallpaper problem but please try to fix the experience for teenagers.Please expand this market for People of all ages

Trucker, receiving area is gated. When gate open, driver around to BJ for check in. The slowest BJ delivery i been to. Waited to 2hr , 23pallets of water.

They never have the pads I have so I end up having to go to another bjs every time. And while I went to the other bjs, I realized I bought grapes here more expensive than the other one. I took a picture of the grapes in westbury. FYI, the green and the red grapes are the same price.

Horrible customer service. They never answer the phone. Took 20 minutes to return one shirt. They also need a lot more cart returns in the parking lot. Carts all over the place. Really the only reason I go here is for convenience.

Used to be my favorite bjs location due to the shopping center. I’ve noticed the quality of service was declining. However, I still decided to shop at this particular location due it to being convenient for me and my family. Until they assumed that I was stealing from the place even though I’ve been shopping there for the past 4 years. Don’t recommend this location at all.

This store is pretty stock up with products all the time and the deli as well. I'm at the deli @ 5pm on a Saturday waiting for over 30min to be served. Two worker workers behind the counter one is cleaning the slicers and the other is getting bombarded with costumers. Why are they cleaning up soo early, unacceptable.

When will the exit doors be fixed. Come on, Bjs, really over 2 months of keeping the outbound exit of your open closed because it's broken. This is a serious problem for people who are disabled as well as your other customers!When will you put cash transactions back in action at the self check out stations. Come on now, this is a really sad situation that people who pay with cash have to suffer & wait on a regular check out line. Where's the efficiency of customer service?

The staff was rude. When I picked up the goods online, I found that the bread was about to expire. When I closed the door just told the guests to leave.Why use an electric scooter to follow the guests like rushing them to go faster? Worst BJ store ever.

Horrible store, you are lucky if you can find things that are under promotion. Customer service is non-existence, mean employees. No gas, no tires but you need to pay full membership price. 9 out of 10 shopping carts are brokenness the way. Just a horrible place to shop. Stopped my membership today, never spend a dime in this chain store in my life

Out of all the locations of BJ'S I frequent this is my second favorite. They have a nice selection of products that we like but as far as registers, they are lacking on that part. It's nice that they have the 5 or 6 self checkouts, IF all of them are open. As usual on the weekends they really can use more cashiers on deck. The lines usually span to the middle of the store. The other area that could benefit from more staffing is the deli department. At least try and get some more part time help in the later part of the day/night. It's usually quiet in the mornings. The other shocking part, NO boars head!? Why? The Wesley farms brand isn't bad, but the other brand really looks and tastes like imitation "roll" product. The few crew members that do work there are always friendly and helpful. If these things could be corrected, this would surely be my number one!

The closest BJs to my house. They have everything in bulk so you can pay less for more. Good for shopping once every 2 - 3 weeks. Their delicatessen is fast, friendly, and high quality. Their bakery is good but it isn't the best. Depending on when you go, you could encounter long lines at the checkout lines. Otherwise, it's a pretty good BJs.

Note: Original review was posted late March 2022 and over 1300 people viewed. August 5th 2022, I made my post easier for reader's.BJ's is back to making unauthorized renewals yet again. MY CALL WAS OVER TWO HOURS ! What is it with this company ? This is so sketchy and I'm not even going to get into Comenity Bank, the entire thing is pure nut's.I paid for my membership ( in person ) at my local club using my personal debit card. As my membership was coming ( close ) to the end of the year I received the infamous " Easy Renewal " letter.This notice stated " my " Master Card ending in **** will be charged $ 59.74.I DID NOT PAY WITH ANY MC ENDING IN THAT NUMBER ( nor do I have any cards ending in that number ). I panicked, unaware of what was happening.Logged into my Credit Karma acct to find out if BJ's ( possibly ) opened this MC but there was no listing of any credit card opened, ending in ****This unauthorized renewal practice has happened with two of my friends. Judging by these reviews I can safety assume it's an extremely problematic situation. When will this be delt with at a higher level ? In my book it's stealing.I never should have been on this call for over two hours. Comenity Bank that had no information. Not my membership identification number, name, address nor my telephone number.The rep then at Comenity asked for my social and at that point I had enough. I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving it and I wanted to end our call. The only reason I called Comenity was because BJ's instructed I do so.For the record everyone, I did specify in 2021 to the woman signing me up at my BJ's customer svc location to please NOT allow my acct to auto renew. Expressing I couldn't be sure what my financial situation would be in 2022.This very friendly customer svc woman at BJ'S replied no problem as she logged in all my personal information. I was also allowed to add a household member.Do yourself a favor if you don't have many opitions regarding wholesale clubs in your area. PAY YOUR BJ'S MEMBERSHIP WITH CASH !This experience was so mentally draining, no one should have to go through this nonsense. No legitimate company should take it upon themselves to AUTO RENEW ANYTHING! NOT EVEN BY DEFAULT ( if you want to split hair's ).Let’s get with it Berkley & Jensen and REDEEM YOURSELVES ALREADY !

Terrible!!! Every time I come in here to get cold cuts at the deli, I have to wait and wait and wait because there's only one person working behind the counter and there is about 10 people on line waiting. Farmingdale bjs has at least 4 to 5 people working behind the counter and I'm done in minutes.

Been shopping with BJ'S for well over a decade now. Great for diapers and baby materials, while buying in bulk. I enjoy their deli section too. The College Point, Queens location has fresh sushi prepared by chefs on site. Can't beat that. Good deals on milk, cheese, and dairy products. Produce is usually better than average. I have no reason to stop shopping here.

I give 1 stars cause I bought a pool and I bough warranty for 3 years and it only has one year I been calling and calling and calling for the warranty and nobody does anything. There is something wrong with the pool. I filed a complain in the beginning of June and until now I have no answer. Every time I call they lied to me saying different things. They bullied me and they harassed me. Thanks

second time coming to Levitown hempstead turnpike bjs and feeling discriminated against, for being Hispanic now it happened even with my son he was discriminated against as if we were going to steal just for being Hispanic and the most terrible thing about this is that the store manager did not even have the decency to apologize for what happened he only dedicated himself to laughing in my face and not even asking for an apology I think that this person should not be in charge of a corporation like bjs.
