Not the best experience these days. I mean it's great that they have the diversity hires and stuff, but it would be great to actually talk to somebody who knows what's going on. But that's not what we get anymore. I can honestly say I have given about $30k of business to HD competitors this year because of this. I'm Doing more and more with smaller stores and online because it's obvious the people they hire are kind of useless and really should not be working in an environment they know little about. But I blame the management because of this. This year I probably will exceed $30k in business going to there competitors. I'm definitely not alone in this.

My experience with Catskill, NY home depot- my impression of the managers. "Reeta" - just the manager for the name , holds no authority what so ever . "Dillion" - tries to make fool of you, unnecessarily wasting your time- giving 5 to 6 phone numbers to call for nothing. "Jennifer"- tries to give you a missed call and has no clue of the matter. I wonder what she is doing there? Even Home depot resolution team could not do anything about this store. Please keep it away from this home depot. I learnt my lesson hard way ... I recommend, please go for lowes near by.Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by the Catskill home depot 's response to a wrongful delivery of a GE refrigerator done on September 15th 2023 afternoon. One of the delivery guy was too aggressive and did not listen to a refusal and literally forced the delivery , breaking one side of my kitchen cabinet, even his co worker was saying that it will not fit in the cabinet. The delivery person said call them in 48 hrs they will take it back. I called and reported the incident to MDO immediately after they left ..They asked me to call the store to over ride and return the refrigerator .I met them in Home Depot saturday September 16, 2023, they said you will get a call Monday. Since then Home Depot is not being transparent about anything and seems to make me do the run around. Today after not been able to reach the store manager or has her return my calls, we finally met her in the store. She said she is going to make more calls tomorrow September 22, 2023 about the return. We, living in Greene county NY for 16 yrs, actively working in the community, are not able to return this refrigerator which should have never been delivered in the 1st place. We are willing to buy a appropriate smaller size refrigerator available right away.This is not fair to customers. Home Depot needs to step up.The worst retail experience so far forPlease see the way delivery was made... .

It's by far the best one I've ever been to. The store is incredibly organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for, and the shelves are always fully stocked with a vast selection of products.What sets this branch apart, however, is the fantastic staff. They are friendly, approachable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether you need advice on a project or assistance finding a specific item, the staff are knowledgeable and happy to assist in any way they can.The customer service is exceptional and makes for a truly enjoyable shopping experience. I appreciate the level of attentiveness and care that the staff show towards their customers.Overall, I would highly recommend this Home Depot location to anyone in the area. I have found this location to have very friendly and knowledgable staff.I almost always see the Store Manager has a great sense of humor and a cheerful demeanor all the time. I constantly see him down on the floor helping to stock shelves, putting together floor displays and assisting customers.Most of the staff if quick to stop and offer assistance without being prompted.Your Friend,The Googly Eyed Bandit

Employees are very professional and were extremely helpful when I bought my Craftsman ride on- that being said I wish the store would have gas on hand for when one wants the mower moved onto the trailer and the folks who assemble them can have the decency to place the keys where the employees can find them, a battery tender or jump charger on hand would be helpful so the customer can ensure they’re buying one that can at least turn over, but in all with the employees’ help, it went smoothly

HD staff is always helpful and friendly. On a recent visit many aisles were partially blocked with stock and long displays. I was pushing a large cart and navigation was difficult. Stock on hardware and electrical items are greatly reduced. No 16D galvanized nails are stocked. The associate suggested ordering online. Such a common item, and I needed to go to Ace Hardware so I could finish my project. I now check the product on the website before going to the store. I make fewer trips to the store and Amazon is becoming a more frequent source. As an update, navigating some areas is still a challenge particularly with seasonal and sale items displayed in the aisles. The end of one aisle in the garden area was totally blocked and I needed to make a u-turn with a cart of gravel. Looked like a temporary storage spot for a large delivery. They need to be more mindful of their customers pushing heavy and large loads.

We went in looking for an area rug, and found pretty much what will work for us. We also had a couple of duplicate keys made, neither of which worked when we got home. In addition to which, the cashier needed help to ring them up. Unbelievable....I don't know who is worse, Home Depot or Lowes.

Home Depot is a great place for all your in home services. I especially like their garden section. When you're shopping however at the garden section be sure you check the zones because sometimes they sell plants that are not in our zone area.

This is a short version of a longer story, but it sums up why this store has earned my business going forward. I applied for the HD credit card online, was approved, but couldn't use it to buy the combo kit which was the whole reason for getting the card. I went to the store, explained the situation and a wonderful service rep named Christin spent about 40 minutes to order the kit for me. About 3 weeks later, I go to track the order and find out it's been cancelled and listed as "completed". I call the store and Christin is the one who answered. She called customer service for me and finally tracked down the combo kit. I was told that it would be another 3+ weeks I'd have to wait for it. Got the email today that it was in and when I picked it up, Christin was there again and finished the job. Great people work here and they're all about helping. Of the 6 or so employees I spoke to in order to make this happen, none were rude and they all took their time to get it right. This is my home improvement store moving forward. Not the only great experience I've had here but it stands out as a great example.

This rating is due to the above and beyond assistance I received from John. I think he could see I have a walking impairment and needed help finding a product so he went to get the product I needed and suggested an additional product and went to get that for me. I was surprised at the service I received yesterday because normally you can’t find anyone or they ignore you or harsh with responses.

Home Depot has very friendly service and they try their best when it comes to looking for things and what would be best for you to get. Sometimes isles are closed which can be a little bothersome but overall, great service and everything is typically up-to-date and the shelves are stocked. There's a nice selection of materials that one could buy; via. Wood, paints, tools, etc... So I do recommend going here. Unfortunately though, when it gets busy, some isles, like the front of the store, get overwhelmingly crowded at times so trying to either checkout or go to another isle can be tricky.

If you want to get your order on time,correct without any stress then you should avoid this place at all time. If your looking to purchase something in store and need help getting it from that top shelf or have a question about a product you should avoid going to home depot. If your looking for the worst shopping experience possible than this is your one stop shop and they guarantee to completely get everything possible wrong for you and make your life a living h*** and have ptsd by just pulling into the parking lot expecting the worst and will most certainly come true. Also a apology is not a thing here either so don't ever expect one from anyone no matter how much they are wrong it's just the Catskill home depot way.

Seems as I go in for one or two things and walk out buying more then what I needed.They have good products.If your doing a DIY. project the staff is always there for helpful tips, tricks, etc. Not to mention help with materials, delivery.They have always had great advice on any project/s that I needed advice on.If you have never been there, I would suggest walk in and ask a few questions about your next project today.

They go out of their way to help customers especially in the Lumber dept. I asked one of the workers exactly what I'm looking for in regards to my Christmas and winter crafts, and he said he would even cut the wood out to the sizes I need, at no extra charge. I'll definitely come back to Home Depot for sure

If your using their web site, the search engine is very clunky, but they do have a great selection of products above those carried in their stores. I just purchased a new shower and enclosure for one of my bathrooms, with more solid marble like pvc heavy walls. They had am amazing bi-fold shower door that made it possible for me to install a larger shower in a tight space. I purchased a DR stump grinder from HD online and had problems with the tow hitch being able to lock down. When I took it to the store, the man in charge of rentals was able to fix it and now works wonderfully.

Easy to find items online, and then text to myself what aisle the items are in, make shopping faster. Only complaint, some of them Lumber you have to search through a lot of boards to find really good straight ones. Pricing is better than Lowe's.

Compared to Lowes this place blows them away. They have well made quality products and the staff is always attentive and asking me if I need assistance. It's worth the extra drive for me and the prices are reasonable.

There are a lot of ways to upcharge your sale.Especially for appliances.But they really go the extra mile.I was told the most preposterous thing I've ever heard today. And trust me it's been a hell of a day.I was told when buying a washer and dryer. That I had to pay separately for the power cord.Yes I was told there is a "power cord charge". What on earth are you thinking. Who do you think you are?
