This is the best animal hospital that there is. All of the staff are extremely caring and attentive. The doctors are top notch and extremely receptive to our concerns without making us feel inadequate. Love all of them and highly recommend.

Dr Stephanie Alford is the best! I feel completely secure on that she knows what is best for all of my pets. Update: Dr. Dunbar as well helped ease my mind with my elderly dog. The staff is also top notch.

Dr. Timpone and his staff are wonderful. It's clear how much everyone cares about our pets. The staff have been there for ages, that should be an excellent clue what a great place this is. We are patients for 30 yrs. All of our cats and dogs have been taken care of by Dr. Chuck. There's been more than a few of each.

I have had nothing but the best experiences with MLVH. I have 3 dogs & they all go to MLVH for preventative care as well as when they have medical needs that must be addressed.Recently I had the unfortunate experience of having to put my 8 year old dog down due to lymphoma. My dog had taken a turn for the worse overnight and could no longer get up to walk. I called the office to inquire about mobile vet services for this purpose & they called Dr. Benjamin Haar to ask if he could come to my home to help me. My heart was breaking watching my dog like this.From the second he entered my home, Dr. Haar was so kind, so gentle, so compassionate & empathetic. He explained everything that he was going to do, the medications he was going to use & told me what was going to happen. Although I had been through this several times before with other pets, it never gets easier. I cannot express to you how exceptional Dr. Haar was. My friend came over to be with me & she was as impressed with him as I was. We discussed things that had to do with illness, pain & end of life issues. Dr. Haar is a blessing to your practice!! I love everyone at the office but I felt like I had to tell the world about this experience.

Always pleased with the vets and the vet techs here. We came from a different vet and he didn’t seem to have the patience and compassion for cats. They’re very thorough. Would recommend.

This visit was with a technician to express Olivia’s anal glands. Susan is always our technician of choice and she was available. She was assisted by Jess. They both did an excellent job. They were gentle, caring and competent.

I regularly spend time in Mattituck visiting family with my dog. I've had to bring my dog in a few times for sick visits and have had a great experience every time. They make sure he's as comfortable and relaxed as possible during the exam.

We are moving and I had given a 5-star review without any comment. I couldn't, because I will truly miss being able to have them care for Penny. I just received a reply for my 5-star review saying if there is anything I need to let them know. Tears started.So here are my comments: We have never been so happy with a veterinary practice. Everyone, whether front office, techs, or vets are so wonderful. Friendly, caring, professional.If it wasn't for them, Penny's kidney worm, which we all thought was cancer, would have been found post-mortem instead of a study on her removed kidney.From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. I have not yet ruled out a 750-mile round trip adventure for her annual visit, but deep down I know she will need someone closer.
