This is definitely a good PetCo. Some can be pretty bad, but this one is phenomenal. Their marine section is beyond amazing. Clean tanks, with extremely healthy livestock. And did I mention great prices? Highly highly recommend this PetCo for their marine section. I am not sure about the rest of the stores animals, but the store is for sure clean and it's a positive enviorment!

It is more expensive than Petsmart but this location especially has a huge selection of pet treats and food. They do run specials on those and other items including toys. They have specialty items for holidays and an adorable treat cart if you want to grab something special for your furry friend

By far the better of the Petcos in a 30 mile radius, IMO. I like the fact that their salt water tanks are clean. The girl that takes care of the fish area is really sweet and knowledgeable.

I purchased a fish tank stand, brought it home and opened it up. It was damaged. So I brought it back. They looked and didn't find one in stock. They offered free shipping, but it would take a week to get here(that was too long as the tank is already set up with fish). I asked if they could waive the fee for two day delivery as this wasn't a mistake on my part. A manager came over and actually found one in stock. Both workers were very friendly and they solved the problem!

I hope this finds corporate and those who are in charge. Every week I go to this particular Petco because they sell bone marrow organic bones that are very expensive 8 dollars a bone. We spend a ton of money at this place bc it's the only one that sells the brand my dog very much enjoys. Well this is the second incident that my significant other and I have encountered the rudest cash out. Heather was the one who was blatantly rude and embarrassing calling out my boyfriend who is the one that doesn't do the shopping. Heather told him since you went the wrong way around I'm going to take the cx who came later since they went the right way In the lane. Instead of having patience, Heather deliberately made it her honor to embarrass others. Please hire employees that can do better and treat cx's with dignity and respect. We all have our own lives but be kind. We will not be returning back bc of Heather and her rude demeanor.

I am so happy I stopped at Petco! I am picking up a puppy this weekend and wanted some ideas to transition him to his new home and be comfortable in it. I sincerely appreciated Craig sharing his knowledge about everything from puppy behavior, training , food, leashes, teething, gates, and so much more! The tips were very helpful to me and my family with teo young kids!I also appreciate the info he gave me about the Petcare program and am glad I signed up to have the ongoing care. We are especially excited for the grooming so we know our next steps and are looking forward to the other perks and rewards in the program.Thanks also to Alison who helped prepare us for grooming! We are looking forward to our next trip to the store to get more goods for the pup!

I have years of previous experience in keeping reptiles and have a good amount of knowledge when it comes to caring for them. I purchased a bearded dragon from this location on Saturday. While I was looking at him in the Petco tank he kept opening his mouth but at the time I didn’t think much of it because they do this to regulate their body temperature. I had him home for three days to which he displayed lethargy, loss of appetite, odd breathing patterns, and constant opening of his mouth to breathe. I came to the conclusion he had an upper respiratory infection so I brought him back to petco. When I was explaining this all to the manager I just felt like she treated it like he was fine and I didn’t know what I was talking about. Upper respiratory infections in bearded dragons can be caused by overcrowding, poor living conditions, too high of humidity, and too low of temperatures, all of which I saw at Petco. I hope they bring him to the vet because if left untreated they can die.

I purched a baby femveiled chameleon and was told by the store staff that the chameleon kit had everything i would need.she had an upper respiratory infection. I had to bring her to an emergency vet, which cost me $220. After doing my own research, everything in the kit, including the cage itself, is the wrong equipment. So i had, after spending $230 on the wrong equipment, i had to re buy all the right things. I brought her back petco, refuned me for the vet bill and her purchase. I then bought a baby male piebald chameleon for $185, and he was so badly dehydrated that he died less than 24 hrs after bringing him home. I highly suggest buying from a breeder who knows how to take care of these unique reptiles and doing your research on the unique requirements needed to own one. The company themselves should do their research and properly train employees how to take care of them.

Had a great experience at Petco. I usually visit Petsmart for food for my bearded dragon and they almost always have NOTHING and nobody to help me get the crickets when they actually do have any.Not only was this Petco stocked, but I was helped by two employees, one more than helpful to point out where I could get my supplies and the other employee that was in the aisle informing me about pricing on the food. This Petco puts the other local Petsmart to shame!

Decent selection of products for reptiles. That’s fine. Bigger issue is the outdated care for the animals they sell. There were three ball pythons in one enclosure, and the one not hiding was dehydrated. There was someone starting to do maintenance on the reptiles but it’s unacceptable to let them get that way in the first place. I had nostalgia for Petco growing up near one, but seeing ball pythons on aspen makes me want to run to Petsmart..

We only come to this location for the grooming service. We take our 120lb GSD/Lab mix to see the best groomer there, Kitana, once a month. We book a bath with shed release package. Kitana always takes her time and takes care of our Moose. His coat is always super shiny, completely dry and not damp like some other places, his nails are buffed super smooth and even the extra hair on his pads are trimmed...and he always comes out smelling sooooo good!. For a very big dog that goes out 3 times the day, the scent from the bath lasts an easy 2-3 weeks.

The manager (female with two braids) seemed annoyed that my two kids and I were looking at the pet Halloween costumes. She kept huffing and puffing under her breath. Then my son grabbed a few mice stuffies that were marked 99 cents. Apparently the whole bucket of them were priced wrong and the same lady has the biggest attitude about it. It was clearly marked for that price then she kept huffing and was absolutely rude about the entire situation. Definitely not worth my time to deal with this when buying animal products.

Seems as if they don't have as much in the store as they used to - I think the inventory is much more extensive on line. But, that said, their prices are better than Pet Smart.

I will say this much about petco Everybody there's very nice. There is only 1 person there that I don't like it. I don't care for I accidentally called.Him, A her and he or she whatever. I don't know, but God very offended and corrected me. I understand to a certain point, but.You have to always remember. I am a customer.But he or she made me feel like she felt. I did it on purpose. Which I didn't because I don't know that person but anyway. She's not very nice, I've been in there times after that. Getting different things for our pets and very abrasive type of person so I won't even go in there when she's there. If Thursday or when I go there, I just turned around and walked out. I'll wait for someone else to be working. Or I'll go to PetSmart. That's how much I don't care for this person that works there. Hopefully, no one else has that experience because it's not a good experience when you just want to buy some things for your test. I'm not worried about what gender you are, get over it.

On Saturday January 26, 2019 we took our dog in to get her nails clipped ($10). She also needed her anal glands expressed (another service that PetCo offers for $10). When we asked the groomer, she had a clear look of disgust on her face, and sighed dramatically. I get it - no-one wants to spend their Saturday with their finger in a dogs rear. We paid for both services, and our dog was in-and-out in less than 4 minutes. I asked if she was all done, and the groomer claimed she was. I specifically asked if her "other procedure" was complete, and was assured that it was. Later that evening, our dog was again dragging her rear on the floor - and has been for the last three days. I believe we paid for a service that was never performed, and were deliberately lied to in order to avoid performing an undesirable duty. When we called to rectify the situation, we explained the problem, and were transferred to "another line" that rang with no answer for several minutes (not on hold, a ringing line). We eventually gave up and are calling it a $10 loss. Bottom line: pay for what you can see, and prove - like nails or coat-cutting. Don't pay for something you can't see, like brushing of your dog's teeth, cleaning ears, or anal expression.

Alyson is always so happy to see Dolly, and it makes me feel confortable to be able to leave her there without me. Dolly is like a new puppy when she leaves … so refreshed and free of that extra hair. She looks as cute as a button!

Just as well going to your local lake for live plants.Definitely don't expect anyone to have any clue what they are giving you, let alone what the prices or deals are until you are at the register paying.*If you must go, always get the receipt
