Store is great, staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Store is kept clean and always looks me nice. Happy to shop here weekly, and look forward to going again. I always recommend save a lot. Gave 1 star because the store is square shaped and I don't like squares at all

I am so glad I checked out this location after watching the abysmal crash and burn of the Union/Genesee location. At first I assumed it was just the company going downhill but it seems like it is just that location.I hadn't been to this Save A Lot in years and it seems to have had a facelift since that last visit. Aisles are a bit more manageable and as for selection the stores carries your basics as well as some alternatives and limited specialty items. Like anywhere you have to know your prices though overall they tend to be less than or equal to other stores.

This store is an absolute pillar of the Lancaster community. Their meat is delectable, and their off brand products are a magnificent value with no compromise on quality or taste.And of course the staff are all stupendous.

Great selection of Fresh Meat and produce. Huge freezer section. Great staff. No wait at checkout. Human employed checkouts none of those self checkouts. Great overall experience. Two thumbs up

People that work here are very rude. They act like you are a bother because they have to do their job. The produce is definitely not fresh and the prices are not that low. Aldi has better, FAST service, everyone is always pleasent and their food prices are actually lower. And the quality of their food is fresh and by far cheaper. Avoid this Save A Lot if at all possible!

I walk in see they are using a cart to take garbage out and think why do I come in here then I see ranch dressing for .99 cents and think ok use a cart to take the garbage out I guess it's not that bad.

During the pandemic, this has been the only store in the area that I was able to consistently find everything I needed. They've been able to get several shipments of food in every week and kept their stores shelves stocked with fresh ingredients. It is even more of an important location now that the prices for groceries are rising. Consider shopping here for consistently lower prices.

This place is probably the best save a lot i have ever been to. The employees are super, super nice. I've never had one be rude or cranky. The place is always clean and well stocked. They have a great meat section and a few Hispanic products.

Stop here often for some great deals. The cashier today was very speedy. It took me longer to resort my groceries to bag n box them myself. I typically like the price of produce here. Store is organized and clean

Store is always well kept and organized. Even has clean bathrooms. The prices are great. They have excellent meat with on site butcher and good produce. All the employees I have encountered have been very nice!!!

Pretty good for a Save-A-Lot. Clean, staff are friendly. 85/15 that what you're looking for is actually on the shelf, depending on what time you go. Still a better ratio than Walmart. Lots of Manager Special meat deals. As an added bonus, you might be treated to a dumbf*ck cashier and a dumbf*ck customer exchanging their poorly-informed hot takes on the state of geopolitical affairs and the influence of the NWO in YouTube videos. Bring earbuds. All-in-all, a good experience.

It's good considering price inflation on even LOCAL produce while I can't understand a price hike on locally grown and delivered produce bwe lol I do enjoy the employees sense of humor and helpfulness A women cashier named Amanda, was so helpful understanding and all around a pleasant person Inspite of what I had witnessed her interactions with customers two in front of me she's a darn Saint lol so if any actual person reads these I'm almost sure positive that her name was Amanda and at the very least deserves acknowledgement of her patience and compassion towards difficult customers and then spoke kindly of customer Inspite of acknowledgement from other customers that they weren't okay.

This is my all time favorite place to go to save money on my food bill. I can go to Save A Lot and spend $150 and have enough food to feed my 10 person family very nicely for a week. That includes meats and snacks, which we would need to cut back on if it wasn't for this place. Bring a quarter if you want to use a cart and your own shopping bags if you don't want to buy them at the store. Those are the ways that Save A Lot helps you save money, though, so I won't complain. These cashiers are fast, too. Mostly because they don't bag your purchases, but I won't complain about that, either. Give it a shot just once. I'm sure you'll be surprised at how much you save!

Great staff and customer service they closed at 9pm an i was unaware of the closing time but they didnt rush me to finish an let me get everything i needed 👍☝So this place gets a 6 star rating if i could all employees are great even the ones still in highschool vwry reapectful and always help out with anything I need or anyone else needs wish more stores had staff like theirs these are the hard workers that deserve raises if possible and promotions!!!! Good quality store brands. Fresh meats are good quality. Also, a large dairy selection at prices lower than the larger chains. The only thing missing is frozen lemonade. No fresh deli, but they do have brand name pre-packaged cold cuts, etc.

Second failed trip to save a lot in a week...system is down. Can use cash only???. I can see once but now twice,and both times without any warning was let to walk around and touch a bunch of food that was only put back on the shelf,and walked around with a so called pandemic of sick people to only walk out empty handed,have shopped there for years ,would like to know how hard it is for people to utilize some common sense and make it known that it's cash only that the registers are down at the door when this is happening,instead of allowing me to waist 15 minutes of my time shopping to only walk out empty handed,people need to wake up.

I really like Save-A-Lot stores. They are well organized and have a pretty good selection. I think their own brands and prices are better than Aldis, and they have a lot more brand name stuff. Great place to shop if you're on a budget or just like saving money.

Dirty and poor parking lot. Nothing new or updated. I hate to say it because I like my money local, but I go all the way to the location on Lake. It is much newer and updated as well as the cashier with the face peircings being friendly and helpful and informative! They have nothing here to offer me!

Not a bad storeAll your needs at very low prices. They dont have a deli or a fresh seafood counter, or sell flowers, hence the low prices. If you want natural products, or fresh sliced cheese, you are out of luck, but all your regular grocery items are here.

I think it's ridiculous for that one to be torn down. That's going to greatly impact all the elderly in the apartment complex across the street . Not to mention, they are the friendliest employees, and the store is always neat and clean. I shop at 4 different ones and they can't compare. But to year it down...all in the name of progress no matter who is affected. Very sad.

I worked for the company for 2 days. I was in a situation where I needed information for employment verifications which were never filled out by payroll. I contacted the person who set up my interview and was told the store manager would be looking out for and take care of this, along with mailing out my paycheck. None of it was done. This happened at the Lancaster, NY location. Very disorganized management. If simple tasks can't be completed, they need to put other people in these positions. Upon hiring, they don't even look at your proof of citizenship documents such as license and SS card. Is that even legal?

Sav a lot is my go to place for groceries. The prices are great and the store is clean. We used to have a store in Lockport. Not sure why that location closed though.

Pork was slimy the date said 17 but it was only the 11th when purchased and had a little odor. Need less to say I didnt feel like driving 20 miles to return b them I just took the loss..

Can get great deals. Meat quality is excellent. Have to be careful to check prices. Not everything is priced better.
