We walked in and found sales on winter jackets and had help from the staff while trying on clothes for next winter!!! These are two out of three jackets we got. I've been going for crickets for a couple of weeks and they are always nice and friendly. I do wish they were a little larger, like the one I had in Ohio, but I am happy to have this once close.

First off the store was very clean the cashier was very nice I asked the cashier cuz I had many bags if he wanted me to leave my bags up front with him and he said no that was fine to put them in the cart and I could take them with me which was nice but the manager judges you too much and would not let me purchase two fish a finch bird and a parakeet he wanted me to go home and take pictures of what I was going to put them in and bring them back to satisfy him and I am a customer and I don't feel I need to do that I have been taking an animals for over 30 some years and I don't have a need to show him that I can take care of animals very sad I walked out of there in tears because his manager was so mean and nasty towards me I would never go back there

Love all the employes they are friendly an will help you find what you are looking for. They know our Dog by Name as we where able to do the puppy training program which was a big help. Enjoy visiting an want to do another 6 week advance training.

The cashier checked PetSmart's cash register for my phone number. She was unable to find my number and proceeded to complete my transaction. A part of my transaction included a buy three get one free item. I inquired if the free $12 item was applied to my final cost. It was not. It was at this point that the cashier advised my number needed to be in the system to receive the discount. I readily provided the necessary information for the discount, and the entire transaction had to be completed over for it to apply. The cashiers should be requesting to add the phone number prior to completing the transactions to avoid the inconvenience this caused and the impression PetSmart was placing the value of the sale over the customer(s) satisfaction.

The local PetSmart location in Lakewood is not only replacing the gap left when Hometown Pets closed, but often exceed it in service, products and of course, beautiful Betta fish. They do have a great selection of healthy fish, quality reptiles and all the food you'd need for any animal with fins or fur. Andy at the register and fish section, and he's everywhere to be honest, is as top quality a customer sales rep as any establishment could have. He is polite, warm, and ready to help. Kudos to Andy and the great staff at PetSmart. Thank you for years of good prices and great advice.

I was with my sister at the Lakewood, NY PetSmart yesterday and we witnessed horrible customer service. We were just leaving the checkout, when a young woman came in asking for help. She was frantic and obviously distraught. Her dog had accidentally locked itself in the car and her phone was in there with it. She lives an hour away and it was almost 90 degrees out. The workers she asked for help, were not helpful at all. They wouldn't let her use the phone and, I'm assuming he was a manager, actually told her the police wouldn't help. He told her to break her window. It seemed like she was an inconvenience to him and he did as little as possible to resolve the situation. How can he work for a pet store and not know what to do in an emergency involving animals? He obviously needs more training and a lot more empathy. I really hate to think that it was a race issue also. My sister ended up calling the police and they sent someone right away. We're so glad that we were there to do the employee's job. Shame on them. I hope that poor dog is alright.

They have a wide selection of items to choose from, & the staff is helpful & friendly. But the fish section had so many dead fish. Bought 2 Cory catfish & both died within hours of getting them home.

I love pet smart but when I got crickets there this time there was only 8 alive and 19 dead. There was supposed to be 20 too 30 med crickets. So just for this visit it got 3 stars. Would have been 5 most other times

Petsmart as a whole has some really good prices when what you're looking for is on sale. I was really impressed with the number of ways by which you could receive products. Delivery Dash, online delivery to your home, curbside (1 hour) pickup, etc.Unfortunately my purchases are usually curtailed by the location closest to me, Lakewood, not having my intended purchase items in stock while the Erie,PA locations as well as the ones in the Buffalo, NY area do. They're either doing really well in sales or perhaps due to the smaller community size that they serve, don't receive as much inventory as the larger location stores.Either way, I take advantage of what they do have as often as needed and have to admit that I really appreciate the way they've stepped up how easy and convenient they've made it to purchase and receive products from them.

Was looking for worm medicine for kittens. Price was to high and only for 1 kind of worm. Bought a clearance dog toy. Says it was heavy duty but my young border collie had it chewed up the same day.

The staff was friendly and nice! They loved my little new rat and were very helpful in picking out a new home for him! The store didn't smell like most other pet stores do, it was clean and organized and I felt as if I was talking to friends instead of strangers.

Every single time I go on they never have crickets. I was told the shipment comes in on Tuesday. I go in on Tuesday, still, very rare to have them. And if they do it very little. Told they go quick. If supply and demand means you should order more crickets, so customers have more than a few hours window to get food their pets NEED, order more?? Very disappointing. Not all pets will eat super worms and expensive horn worms. My babies are too small.

Used curbside pickup for the first time. Very quick ordering online and was able to pick up products at curb in an hour. A simple phone call to tell them I was here & they brought the order right out to my car.

My visit today at Pet Smart was incredible. The Associates helped me find exactly what I needed for My Cat. I left the store feeling appreciated and cared for. I did not know we had a Pet Smart in our area.. This made my visit even better. Top of the line flee treatments as well as food treats . Thank You Pet Smart

The selection was extremely limited. I went there looking for housing for a mouse but there was no options available. The food for a mouse only came in larger more expensive bags. We always look at the kitties for adoption. The friendliest one was also the cutest and was being adopted. Good cat! Our cashier was nice and handled our item very gently. He earned the stars I am giving today

I would like address the outrageous experience I had this very day. I was in with my family, shopping for essentials for our pets, when a rude and arrogant employee bluntly walked up to my daughter and held out a mask demanding she wear it. The rest if us were wearing them, however she has asthma, and can't breathe while wearing a mask. She told the man this, and he then informed my 10 year old she couldn't be in the store. I was stunned, that while she has a legal, medical reason and she is unable to wear a mask it was rudely forced upon her. I am disgusted. What am I to do with my poor child? Leave her in the hot car and endanger her life for the sake of a mask? I am ashamed of this man. For shame.

I go here to pick up Betta fish and ghost shrimp. This time the cups that the betta were in was cloudy and dingy. A few looked border line dead. Was not impressed
