INCREDIBLE cafe options for vegans/vegetarians and gluten free folks! It was the perfect spot to get lunch after hiking and while exploring Lake Placid :) Everything is customizable, the ordering process is seamless, and there’s plenty of fresh-baked GF goodies. The staff is also very friendly, and the market has some cool stuff to browse. If you go on Wednesday, there’s a small farmers market in the parking lot, too!

First off:The hours of operation are to be commended.While the cafe section isn't open Monday, you can still purchase plenty of healthy grab and go items, as well as hot soups. The owners must care about the clientele to make themselves this available! You can get growlers of homemade kombucha as well as cans, so Essex County can rest easy that their population will never be kombucha deficient or insecure.Additionally the place has a great grocery section to shop!When the cafe part is open the selection grows even fuller, with healthy breakfast, lunch, and ESSSPRESSOOO! Thanks for a great place to have quality healthy options!

Love being able to order online!! Smoothies are very expensive for the small amount you get, but at least they are not watered down! The grilled sandwiches are delicious, especially in the colder months!

Two amazing sandwiches- from the farm and righteous Reuben- our first time to try Tempeh and it was very good! Both grilled to perfection and on delicious sourdough bread. One of the BEST chocolate chip oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had! Very friendly staff also a big plus

We were in Lake Placid for 4 days and went to Green Goddess 4 times! The sandwiches and breakfast items were terrific! The smoothies and juices were excellent. They have a lot of gluten free and vegan items. The woman who bakes for them is a master - I couldn't believe how delicious her GF/vegan baked goods were! I would highly recommend a stop (or two or three) here when you are in town. The location that is just outside of town is a bit bigger and had more to offer.

This diet-friendly, sustainable little cafe is a diamond in the rough. Personally, I enjoy eco-friendly, natural and organic food. While this movement is growing, some areas don’t have that many eatery’s like this one. Consequently, I was very excited to see Green Goddess Cafe in Lake Placid. The staff was very kind, welcoming and willing to explain anything about the store. The food was delicious, fresh and natural (and served in real silverware!-no plastic waste). The overall look of the store is very homey and modern. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Lake Placid!!

A little pricey, but not worth taking a star off for. I love their smoothies and homemade lunches. I'm most impressed by the fact that unlike surrounding grocery stores, they have natural dairy free cream cheese. I'm NOT lactose free, but my brother is and long story short, Green Goddess came to the rescue when it came to getting a great quality cream cheese for a family gathering. Locally owned, friendly staff, great atmosphere...highly recommend.

Whenever I am in Lake Placid I make it a can't miss lunch stop. The food is delicious, lick the bowl and plate clean delicious. Their retail items are the best. Shop and eat, no disappointment possible! The soups are extraordinary.

The shop overall was clean and appeared to be a good spot different from the rest in Lake Placid. Would recommend a smoothie over a smoothie bowl from this location. The smoothie bowl I ordered had a very thin base making it difficult to eat with a spoon with the other ingredients.

if you enjoy environmentally and health-conscious/organic food, well conceived/balanced raw food smoothies, fabulous salads, sandwiches and soups for breakfast, lunch and dinner; as well as staff who appear to be happy, healthy and good people, you will love this place. we are a little spoiled coming from NYC and having so many options from which to choose to support our healthy/mostly raw food lifestyle. we rarely find anything outside of the city that compares to, much less rivals, what we are accustomed to. we ate here (both at the Main Street and on Saranac Avenue - which has more options and more seating indoors and outdoors). i can't recommend this place highly enough!

Green Goddess Natural Foods was recommended to me by Alpine Country Inn.Really delicious green food at their cafe, even though they only have a few tables. They have meat options if you've got a mixed group, but all of these can be substituted with vegan options. Gluten free bread and wraps for everything as well. my kids are in slim sport, loved their vegan food found there !

They did an amazing job catering our wedding brunch! Tammy in particular is a wonderful person to work with. She was always prompt about answering our questions, and even helped coordinate rentals. The food was delicious and fresh! We would highly recommend them for any catered event.

Great selection of local and organic goods including a small selection of produce. Prices are steep but on par with most gourmet markets. The in house cafe is fantastic and features delicious salads, sandwiches and breakfast dishes at reasonable prices. My personal favorite is the avolicious sandwich.

Was excited to try this place since it was recommended twice to match our dietary needs. Entered store to unfriendly staff. I asked a question about the juice and shots in the refrigerator and felt I was intruding on their gossip and got a short incorrect answer so they could get back to their personal conversation. I'd suggest welcoming your customers and giving them a brief explanation of your store and what's available there.

this place rocks!you won't find a better eatery north of San Diego !and they have excellent bulk food and much Vegan and vegetarian options.this place would kill it in the City! ...they should franchise !!highly recommended 5/5 stars!!super nice staff... except that one... they know who they be.(i'll admit i have a BIG crush on the owner, thats why i can't go in so often)
