I was recently in Lake Placid, NY. I TRIED going to the Family Dollar 3 different days, each was at a different time. Each time the store was closed with a hand written sign saying they will be back in "x" amount of hours. So many cars were pulling in and back out. Don't expect them to be open just because the hours on Google say they are. Very inconvenient especially during holiday season.

I am an older man in my late 80's and was forced to carry out one by one in super icey conditions all my groceries all because they deemed it necessary to put bars on the shopping carts so you can no longer bring them outside. I nearly fell twice and no one even offered to help me out with my stuff.

Great store! Love the many item selections and decent prices on items that I normally get. And they always have a clearance aisle which is always a plus in my book lol haha.

Nicest Family Dollar I've ever been in. Usually their stores are filthy and trashy looking. This one was actually really nice and had a lot of choices.
