First timer to lake placid and was walking with family and kids .. of course who would say a no to ice creams . Went and bought a lot of ice creams to kids and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing flavors . Parking was a bit of an issue but we got a few blocks away. Gets crowded on weekends and long holidays. Nice customer service ! Kudos !!

I have never found a Ben and Jerry’s that was so unaccommodating of allergies. They only had one non-dairy flavor that could only be scooped, not made into a milkshake or anything else. When asked, the employee gave us a very flippant and rude “no we don’t do that.” They close very early for the location. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to the local ice cream shop. It’s much better.

Overpriced. rude employees, poor customer service and an owner that just does not care. Since Unilever bought this company years ago, it lost its magic and its quality. Sad.Edit: This goes back a while now, but I spoke to the owner twice on the phone and he was very dismissive. My son had ordered an item that B&J's usually gives options for. His had real coffee ice cream/no option. When I asked the employee if he could get something without caffeine, she was very rude and refused to work with me at all. Unless she gave me someone else's phone number, I did speak to the owner. He just did not give a hoot.

It's Ben and Jerry's, it's made in Vermont, it's a good product, and it can be found in my local grocery store.I've never quite figured out the appeal or extra cost involved in going to a satellite shop; it's never delivered on an experience to justify waiting on a line or paying extra.Sort of like the fast food of ice cream shops.

Ben & Jerry's has done a great job with their non-dairy flavors, and I was so excited to see that they have them available in their scoop shops as well as in grocery store freezer aisles.They did have the option for a non-dairy sundae, which was exciting. I don't think it was necessarily worth what it cost (more than three scoops costs, and the sundae only comes with two scoops). Additionally, I thought it was weird that they only put the chocolate sauce on top of the whipped topping. I like sauce topping ON my ice cream (and this is how most places make them).In any event, though I wasn't necessarily over the moon with the value for the sundae, the ice cream itself was delicious. I visited twice on my last trip to Lake Placid (I got three scoops, no sundae, on the second trip) and was very happy with my decision to stop by. :)

The coffee coffee and expresso ice cream with chocolate chips is very good in a chocolate-covered waffle cone. However it is not worth $18.75 for two scoops. Well overpriced!

Tonight, we had an awesome visit to Ben and Jerry's in Lake Placid! Ann Marie was amazingly helpful and kind as she assisted me in safely navigating getting a gluten free treat. She is part of the family who recently took over this location, and under new ownership things couldn't be better! Thank you, Ann Marie and Ben and Jerry's Lake Placid 👍🏻👍🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Love everything about Ben & Jerry's - from the delicious, creative flavors to the bold and daring company "voice"! Stopped by the B&J's on Main Street in Lake Placid and was not disappointed - so yummy! (And love that their servers are all wearing masks! ☺)

DO NOT ORDER A CAKE FROM HERE BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT MAKE IT. And they won’t even be remotely apologetic about it, either. Horrible customer service experience - plus one very disappointed five year old who was so excited to choose and customize his own birthday cake.

Clean store, friendly staff. Lots of options from soft serve to most of Ben and Jerry's classic favorites to some I had never seen or heard of before. Could have more seating available, they have the room. Really great place to stop in after lunch or dinner on Main Street in the Mirror Lake area.

Excellent ice cream and efficient crew! It's hard to believe Unilever has nor screwed up this iconic company. The "do good" sayings from the original owners do seem a bit strange given the monolithic that is the owner. Limited seating. Wait for the inevitable cost reductions to destroy the quality.

They were out of all non-dairy options (and a number of flavors) which was a letdown for two members of our group (one had an allergy and the other was just a fan of the raspberry lemonade smoothies) but despite that it was the great quality you can except from Ben &Jerry's. I recommend the sprinkle dipped waffle cones, one of my favorite things!

Great place to go when the classic Emma's creamery is overflowing. Their ice cream is also delicious and though we were there on a very busy day, their staff moved very quickly getting through everyone and surprisingly didn't get at all aggravated with people that kept asking for samples (a good thing obviously, I just wouldn't be as composed as they were!)

Gotta love Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream! Server served up 2 giant scoops for me. $7 double scoop Ice cream cone - isn’t bad considering - some people pay more than that for one beer.

Great ice cream, as expected from a b&j.When I ordered the waffle cone with 2 scoops, the ice cream fell down to the counter but I was able to recover it. Surprisingly, in an instant, the same guy who took my order offered another identical ice cream, free of charge. I tried to refuse it but he insisted.Staff is great and the ice cream does not dissapoint. Would go again and again.Thanks to the guy that on the saturday night before the Ironman 2019 helped me. He should be promoted or at least be recognized.

Went to Ben and Jerry's tonight and found one lone worker Brian, who was working like a champ and super professional during this COVID pandemic. He was moving an extremely long line very quickly and without any attitude and a positive vibe. Thank you Brian!

Overly expensive shirts (charge more for designs that are popular) and merchandise. Crowded and were rushed through the tour. We couldn't even get ice cream. The line was a guess of 40 mins from the back.
