I usually don't write reviews and would normally take a cashiers side, but the older woman w the glasses working there this morning should not be a cashier. I ran in quick for something and overheard her literally verbally abusing a customer. Yelling at the woman to not put things on the counter, and just being horrible to her. It was so uncomfortable I just walked out.

This Dollar General is a lot cleaner then the one that I reviewed recently. The shelves were fully stocked. The staff was very nice and got me in and out quickly. The parking is plentiful. Dollar General on Foxhall Avenue could learn something from the manager in this store. I would drive out of my way to go to this store again.

The store had a great amount of items I was looking for and although the workers were talking amongst each other during my check out and the employee ringing my order wasn't 100% focused on what she was doing with my order and it was frustrating if I were saying something they were still busy discussing their breaks and all. The other girl might have been new and she was training, I'm not sure. But overall she was nice for the situation we were in. She didn't have much to say to me lol but the store was clean, check out was quick, and I got everything I needed in one stop shopping. So that's the 5 Stars.

There are 3 Dollar Generals in my area and this one (Lake Katrine) is the cleanest one! Everything is organized. Things aren't thrown and laid out on the floor like the other 2 locations. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you find what you're looking for.

Well I did find what I came there to get .. Yet dirty unorganized and cluttered.. long overdue for a sweep/mop boxes all over just filthy wondering if they ever have more than one person working there at a time... Heat was unbelievable high sweating in that store.

It was understocked, messy, and the store itself felt dirty, like the floor hasn't been mopped in a while and the shelves haven't been dusted. It was so nice and clean when it first opened, too bad they didn't maintain it

Maybe the most frightened I’ve been during the pandemic. One employee was smoking at the door, mask down. She comes in while I’m shopping. Smoke blowing into the store. (Those are droplets btw). Then another employee starts yelling about her lunch, mask down. While the first (smoker) employee comes in to talk. I should’ve left but I had the one thing I needed for my kids party so I head to the cash register where the mask-down lunch yeller checks me out. Then back out through the smoke. Sheesh. If I die, please burn this place down.

If it been in any Dollar General stores you know it’s all the same. Low prices cause they lack employees. The stores are always trashy cause again they don’t wanna pay.

Clean store. Friendly service. Offer a great variety of items and great prices! A good place to go for a quick shopping trip to grab just a few items at reasonable prices. Often have amazing sales.

I prefer the Lake Katrine Dollar General over the Saugerties Location. The register lines are never to long, the place is pretty clean and stocked and the staff is polite

Best store around for quick in/out if need be. But take your time I discover something new every time I shop and take my time. Friendly helpful employees

They have some great deals in here every once in awhile like $6 items going for 50¢ or $1. Don't expect to get a wide selection of items here but it's all relatively cheap.

This Dollar General is a pleasure to shop at it is very clean unlike the 1 in Port Ewen and the 1 on Foxhall Avenue Kingston. They are disgustingly dirty.

Always a little too crowded with stuff, but this is a large store. Easter basket , grass and stuff for inside for the my school bus co-workers.
