Beautiful campground. The sites, bathrooms, and showers are all well kept and clean. Staff was great. Even maintenance was at our camper within minutes to help us with a small issue. But you.The camp sites are beautiful. We picked a wooded site, and we’re very pleased. All the other campers were friendly and respectful. I have no complaints! Pictured is out nice clean site, and one of the nice clean bathrooms!

Nice campground. We came here with an RV. Close to Lake George and many attractions and restaurants. We wanted a more secluded RV site and it was too bad that we were not able to pick a spot. The spot that we were assigned was a wooded area so that made it a bit better however I would love more privacy and further away from other campers. The swimming pool was small but clean. Staff were mostly friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Overall I think this is a good spot to come if you're in Lake George. But I probably won't return since I crave for more solitude when I get away.

This place is one of the nicest places I've been to and I've been to well over 25 rv parks across the country these past 3 years. The sites are clean level and private! The entire place is spotless! I especially like how sites were different levels making them private. There's lots to do there and around there. Music, movies, DJ, bike paths, amusement park, walking distance to miniature golf shops and dining, etc. We loved it!!

We had a wonderful time at King Phillips! First, we loved how they are centrally located to every direction in Lake George. The campground was friendly, well run and the bathrooms/ showers were very clean! 🙏The little store had a great selection of things which made camp life very convenient. And the prices of the whole weekend were reasonable. We’ll definitely come back again! Thank you! 🙌☺️

Staff here greeted us at the entrance and directed us to check in lane with our tow vehicle and trailer. Staff directed us to office where we completed check in. A staff member then escorted us to our site in golf cart. Our site was next to seasonals in C area of campground. Seasonal campers stayed to themselves like they were on island. Didn't interact with weekend warriors such as ourselves. Overall we enjoyed. Just ok.Nearby activities: You can walk or bike on trail which is a short walk from main entrance. The trail north ends in Lake George village which is approx mile and half from campground. Trail south goes for few miles.Walkability: You can walk or bike on trail which is a short walk from main entrance. The trail north ends in Lake George village which is approx mile and half from campground. Trail south goes for few miles. Also huge dollar general is short walk south on trail. Approx 500 feet from campground entrance. Very convenient.

Nice place But the pine pitch got all over my vehicles my RV did not appreciate that too much. When I made reservations I was never told that my RV would be under Pines. The pitch with all over my RV and my Jeep not a good thing. Besides that a nice place and the guys that take care of the grounds are super duper people very polite nice to talk to.

It would have been nice to have been notified of the constant noise from whatever construction they’re doing 100 feet from our “pull through” camp site that definitely isn’t a pull through camp site so we could have gone to a different RV park. I don’t know about you, but listening to enormous heavy machines (like asphalt rollers & excavators) is not what I envision when having a peaceful camping weekend away from home. The noise goes allllllll day. Extremely disruptive & not peaceful at all. It would have been wise to pause construction for Labor Day weekend… at nearly $100 a night, this is ridiculous and we’ll never come back. I took a video to include in my review but it doesn’t allow videos.

I stayed on the first weekend of October to ring in some Halloween vibes and I wasn’t disappointed. I called that morning before I drove several hours north to ask if there was availability and that kind lady answering the phone swiftly assisted me. I’m fairly sure she gave me the best campsite in the park, close to the bathroom, but with privacy. I was surprised that there was just one shower for an entire campground (if I’m not mistaken) but it wasn’t occupied and it was clean when I needed it and the water was good and hot. Fortunately, nobody was waiting to use it when I was done. My number requests from all camp bathrooms are more hooks and more shelves. Easy access to a bunch of really beautiful trails. There are many cheap local places to get firewood. Also, I just love these fire pits. There is absolutely nothing better than the chimney style concrete pit. It is the best! I hope to be back again someday. Thank you!

King Phillips Campground & Resort is a great place to camp if you're looking for easy access to the Lake George area. The campground is located just a short drive from the lake and from the town of Lake George, where you can find restaurants, shops, and other attractions. One of the best things about King Phillips is that it has a direct access to a bike trail that leads to Lake George or Queensbury. This is a great way to get around the area without having to drive. The bike trail is paved and well-maintained, and it's a scenic ride along the lake. The campground itself is clean and well-maintained. The gravel spots are level and spacious, and the gravel roads are easy to navigate. The sewer dump is uphill, which was a little messy lolThe cable TV at King Phillips is not very good, but that's not a big deal if you have Starlink. There are only a few open access to sky, but that's not surprising, given that the campground is located in a wooded area.Overall, King Phillips Campground & Resort is a great place to camp if you're looking for easy access to the Lake George area. The campground is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Just be aware that the cable TV is not very good, and that there are only a few open access to sky. Here are some additional pros and cons of King Phillips Campground & Resort:Pros:Easy access to bike trail to Lake George or QueensburyClean and well-maintainedFull hookups availablePlayground and other amenities for kidsCons:Cable TV is not very goodOnly a few open access to skySewer dump is uphillSome sites may be close togetherOverall, I would recommend King Phillips Campground & Resort to anyone looking for a great place to camp in the Lake George area.

Meh. It was ok, but for almost $600 for the week, we expected a site where the people next to us weren’t parked next to our picnic table. Friendly campers, many seasonal sites. Seems like a fun place for kids. As first time campers there, we weren’t able to choose our section or site. I can’t put my finger on it but we just expected a little better. Camp store has the bare necessities. We had to go elsewhere for milk, eggs, etc. Also, firewood is $10 a bundle.

What a great experience! Our site was perfectly shaded and large. The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest and nicest of any campground we've been to. On top of all of that, the staff went above and beyond for us! Sam is such a wonderful, kind, thoughtful gentleman who went out of his way to assist with any request, no matter how small. We can't wait for our next KPC experience! From the kids: the best camp in the world!! -Everything was super reliable. They helped us with whatever we needed even the weirdest request. One of the things we needed was to barrow bikes and they had the perfect sizes for me and my cousin. We ended up needing to fill a tire with air and Sam let us use the air compressor. They had a fun playground, basketball hoop, horse shoe, and volleyball net. They have a pool that was a good refreshing temperature the whole time! There were lots of shops and stores near the campground that we could all visit. Overall I had a great time! Thank you so much.

Disappointed with the experience we had booking a campsite here. We’ve been road-tripping on a rental camper van for a week and have not needed to stay at electric sites as the van doesn’t require it. When booking this campsite over the phone, the woman told me we have to stay at an RV site and pay $55. On the website it doesn’t have this specified, I thought we would be able to stay at a regular campsite as we have been able to do at MANY other campsites across New England. The most upsetting thing about this scenario was when we checked in, the woman at the office was shocked that we didn’t have an RV as she had our site as an RV site. Another family checking in at the same time had a camper van with them and did not go to the RV site. So clearly you need to have better communication and be more accommodating to people’s needs rather than charging them the most expensive rate just because you can! I told the woman on the phone we didn’t need the electric charge and she said we had to pay the $55 even if we won’t need it. Disappointed and will not come back or recommend to anyone else. Otherwise it is a good campground, just don’t want to deal with such a situation again.

Our experience at this campground was good with one exception. We were charged $80 per night and the advertised rate was $55 (water, sewer, 30 amp., cable). When I questioned it upon checking in, the gentleman told me, "$80 is really good for this area." I thought maybe they increased their rates since I booked, but when I checked their website an increase was not reflected. This is not an $80/night campground. The best part is its proximity to the Village of Lake George. Our site was shady, clean and the campground was quiet at night. Construction was going on during our dinner in the evening, and loud music could be heard from another part of the campground. This is an average campground that is overpriced. I do not appreciate being overcharged without an adequate explanation.

Very nice woodsy campground. Everything was very well kept bathrooms are really nice and clean. Lake George is either a short walk or trolly ride which was nice. Pool was nice though only complaint is the seemingly local kids that were constantly running and jumping in the pool makes it hard to enjoy.

This is our second year coming here. The people are friendly and quite helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding area. The campground it amazingly clean. We're considering a seasonal sight... We live 4 hours away, but I love this campground. It's kid friendly and I haven't heard any noisy guests.

A bit cramped and the biggest disappointment was being unable to choose a site number based on availability. Unless you are a returning customer, they assign a site number upon arrival. We had an suv and a truck to cram into the tiniest site along with tents and supplies. Wasn't easy. The site they gave us was less than appealing, also. Staff were nice enough. The campgrounds proximity to lake George makes for a great place to bring a scooter or moped. Overall, it was okay. I prefer more privacy.

This was my second year coming to King Phillips in the Fall. I was so impressed by the campground last year I booked again for this year and it did not disappoint. The grounds are well kept, the tent sites are a great size with beautiful trees, it’s quiet, and so close to Lake George! The staff is friendly and helpful, the hostess is always ready to give help if you need suggestions about places to hike or sight-see. The bathrooms and showers are kept so clean!! Don does a thorough job and was so friendly when I spoke with him. Thanks for a great week! I will be back!

Father’s Day weekend 2021, This is a quiet campground. All our camping neighbors were all very polite and respectful. Even the people walking their dogs. The restrooms, showers and the RV site were all very well maintained. When we were packing up our travel trailer an employee stopped by to ask how our stay was. I would recommend taking the bike path that goes right in front of the campground it takes you right to the beach. The other direction takes you thru a wooden area. It’s a really fun trail since it’s completely paved. We all had a nice time here taking our bikes.

This was our second visit to Lake George and to this campground. Both times we had a perfect camping experience. We stayed 3 days the first time and 5 full days the next. Very clean, convenient access to major highways, scenic bike trails, 2 miles away from Lake George and very friendly people. You can tell the people who own this place take really good care of it and Don does a really good job making sure the restrooms stay clean, which we really appreciated. Most sites come with water and electric and there is a laundromat and an arcade. All of it is very helpful. We recommend wholeheartedly and this place will remain top of mind when we visit again.

Nice location to Lake George. Campsites are pretty small. Customer service is terrible, and not friendly. We were charged for a premium site even though we did not ask for one, and when we mentioned it they decided to charge us more than quoted over the phone. Communication with staff if nonexistent, and when we tried to extend our trip a day, even after discussion of this through emails and them "making a note in our file", they would not allow us to stay on the site because the owners friends were coming for that site, even though a few days beforehand it was not an issue if we decided to stay and no one checked in with us regarding that. We will not return to this. Plenty of other cheaper, better options in the area. Look at Lake Luzerne area instead!

This year was our 2nd time staying at the campground. Each site we had was comfortable and quiet. We enjoy the full hook up capability for our 39 foot bus. The pool, bathrooms, and laundry facilities are always clean. We love that it is close to all the attractions at Lake George and Saratoga Springs. We are looking forward to our Next stay!

This is an awesome campground. The bathrooms are immaculate. The showers are immaculate as well. The area of the campground where our site was is beautifully wooded and shaded. A little close to our neighbors but no complaints. I'd rather stay in my trailer a little closer to someone else's campsite Instead of an overpriced motel In the area. The pool was clean and not crowded with plenty of seating.Magic forest is right across the street so you can walk over if you have kids- that place is a little run down and looks like it's original from the 60's but that's another story.Overall I enjoyed my 4 night stay at this campground and will definitely be coming again!

I usually use state camps or backwoods camp but my daughter's finally decided to tag along and wanted amenities so here we are. The wifi doesn't work on all sites. Ours of course doesn't work. Our site is littered in old cigarette butts. It was not raked.Fire pit is in pieces, no grate. The fire wood I bought here wouldn't light. In the showers there is no where to sit your things besides the shower chair that a naked person has likely sat on. The pool is small but nice. I am less then impressed. There are 2 beautiful sites on either side of me that have sat empty this whole trip so far. Raked, sunny, level ground. Why did I get the inclined rock filled, broken, dirty site? I could have paid 70 bucks and went to the state camp ground and had a better area for sure and not expectedWifi. 156 for 3 nights... I did let the man working know I was displeased and he said he would speak to management... 🤷‍♀️But I still had fun with my kids. The people here have been friendly and the rest of the sites are pretty nice and it's minutes away from the Village.
