I can't say enough about how wonderful hillview motel is. The room was wonderful and clean with a fantastic view. The young lady at the front desk who seems to do every job, was an absolute delight to talk with. It was my wife and I with our pup. The trip couldn't have been more fantastic. I highly recommend staying here whenever you're in the wonderful and beautiful lake George area.

We loved our stay at Hill View! They brilliantly teamed up with another lodge across the street, thus providing beach and kayak access!! We stayed in an updated room that was perfect for our family of four and precious puppy! The beds were comfortable, kitchen was quaint, and neighbors were friendly. The playground and pool were both well kept and clean! Honestly being able to walk down to the beach for breakfast was positively wonderful. Not to mention how kind and knowledgeable the staff at BOTH lodges were! Definitely headed back next year

I stayed here because it said it was dog friendly. I honestly didn't expect much but fell in love with the property. The people who run this motel are down to earth and very friendly. We've already booked two more stays. Can't wait to come back

We had an amazing week at Hillview. Our first time there it was amazing. The staff and accommodations were excellent. The playground for the kids was awesome and they are pet friendly which made it so easy for us. We all thank Hillview motel and cottages for an awesome week and hope to see them again next year.

Great Lake Property ! AMAZING Views of Lake George . The cabins are so nicely decorated in the Adirondack Theme . Heated pool and access to the lake . Also so close to all the attractions.The owner's Michelle and Tom are positively the Nicest People ! Staff is so pleasant and accommodating. The property manager at Hill View Falon was The Best ! This is our second year staying at Hillview. Love this location especially if you have pets or kids. Cabins are arranged on a hill side with a beautiful view of the lake from your porch. There is a play area in the center green which allows the kids to play while you relax. Cute pools. One is regular sized and the other is a little wading pool for little ones. The rooms are a good size and always spotless. This year we had an efficieny with a small kitchenette which was so useful. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. For a family of 6, a 3 night vacation in the Lake George area would normally be way outside of our budget as a yearly retreat. Hillview is perfect for what we were looking for. I like that we have lake access. That we have a bit of privacy and space. And that we have a couple of options if things to do without having to leave the property.

The location is very beautiful and has a charming view of the lake and the mountains.It is also nice that the children play in a safe place in front of their parents in the garden which is in the middle of the site.However, during my four nights stay I did not have internet access.The rooms also need maintenance that suits the place and the charming view.I liked the cooperation of parents “father and daughters” in supervision and management and I hope to visit him in the future in a better condition.

Highly recommend it, specially if you have a furry friend. The staff is friendly and courteous. The grills get cleaned up daily, washer and dryer machine available ($1.00ea). Close to everything. The entire place is clean and the view is breathtaking.

New owners have been updating the cabins and the internet works really well. Plus you’re allowed to bring your dogs and you get beach access. Ashley at the front desk is always pleasant!!!

Views are great, even if not lakeside. Cabin was nice and clean. Fireplace in the cabin was fantastic! Pet friendly which is hard to find. There is lake access across the street.

Ok for last second and short stay . Good for young children . Pools don't have pumps so water isn't circulated and refreshed properly. Lake access is smooth and flat but must cross busy road or drive . Staff friendly .

Nice little place to stay. The cabins are just little houses with all the conveniences of home. Good wifi that lets you find local routes on Google maps, make reservations at local eateries, and find fun places to visit. Would highly recommend.

Hill view cottage in lake george, was a delightful place to vacation. The owner and staff are all so nice and accommodating, our unit was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend. I will definetly be back.

I've been staying at Hill view 6 years in a row 10 days each stay every year we come back and major updates have been made year after year the new owners are fixing up the cabins as fast as they can and doing a great job in the down time the staff is helpful and trash removed every day I give them 10 stars my last day and the fall they are about to close for the season and alredy started working on the aficanity cabins good for them keep up the good work and love the long dog trail in the woodsS

"Thank you for your hospitality" is a phrase I often use when leaving someone's home, or a vacation resort on the beach. Because I leave with a feeling of being "home/with all the amenities". This is exactly how my husband & I felt for the 2.5+ months extended stay we had at Hillview Cottages. I could write a BOOK listing all the great things with this location. But I will surmise it with, the Host Mr. Tom, his lovely wife Michelle, rest of family and their staff made us feel SO DARN WELCOME. We stayed in the Chalet (OH MAN IT IS BEEEE-AUUUU-TIFUL), we were lucky, and it had EVERYTHING in that 2 bedroom lovely space. Especially the view...what a lovely, relaxing, serene, calm, beautiful, peaceful place. It's exactly what we needed. Our stay was from late Winter to early Spring. It was so great to be able to COOK and not eat junk food/have to do expensive food orders. We had never been to Lake George before...suffice it to say...WE ARE GOING BACK...to Hillview Cottages too, don't really want to try out any other places. Mr. Tom & staff (the lovely Fallon, Chris, Kara and others) are some serious hard working, but jovial and respectful bunch. And Mr. Tom's wife had us cracking up every time we met. We were in Lake George for almost 7 months on business, we went from hotel to hotel, then we found and spent the last 2.5+ at the Hillview Cottages and we felt so blessed to be there. The business trip turned into a lovely "home away from home" vacation...as we were so very relaxed. Thank you guys for making us feel so welcome, thank you for your hard work daily on the property, and thank you for giving us someplace lovely to visit, come Fall season! That's where we will be headed. All our best for the coming Summer season. The property is exactly as the pictures attached...quiet, peaceful, beautiful, woodsy, great view of Lake George, with all the amenities.

Beautiful and excellent place to stay with the family. 5 or less mins away from the town, very accessible. The view its gorgeous and the best is that you havr your own little deck with bbq.
