I’ve been a customer since this store opened coming once a week to purchase food and other household items. I’ve used the self checkout which makes it way to easy to steal so it’s no surprise things are changing. Today I was threatened that if I didn’t put all my food on the counter the person overseeing rudely would make it so I could no longer be able to use self check out. I understand the cost of things but Sams employees should remember who pays their salary. Hard working customers such as my self. Companies like Walmart should petition the state to change the laws preventing theft. You have far more power than we the people anymore. Eric

The worst Sam's Club I've been to ! No other Sam's in the area treats you like a criminal like this one does ! Have to present your card before you can enter the store. Scan your card at the self checkout to actually make the purchase - then be told that I have to empty my cart into another cart - purchasing two 52 lb. bags of cat litter and cases of cat food with my other groceries. Then get the third degree at the door as I'm leaving ! I'll never shop Sam's Club in Kingston, NY again ! It's ridiculous to pay for the privilege of shopping in a store that thinks I'm a thief ! I'll shop BJ's from now on ! BTW - this isn't just a one time thing - my last 3 visits to this Sam's has been the same !

I just want to mention Sherri that works at the entrance to Sam's club. Shes so nice. She makes you feel welcome. ❤ Shes definitely a plus for Sam's club. Sherri always cleans and sanitizers your cart and welcomes you with a smile.sams club is lucky to have her

Reasons we won't be renewing our membership:ALL of our Sam's-to-Go Orders have come with either expired, moldy, damaged, or opened products.But, hey, if we go inside to shop, we have the joy of being harassed. Sometimes it's aggressive cell phone salesman asking us to change providers. You know, the ones who don't take a simple "No". And sometimes it's the actual Sam's employees trying to get us to sign up for the credit card. And not just the folks asking you as you approach the register. Two of them actually cornered my wife and I in the meat section to try and hard push the credit card on us.Why would I pay a company for this delightful treatment? A membership to a club, group, or store should be a benefit, not a hassle. If I'm paying money to be there, I should not then be turned into a sales opportunity for others.

This was my first time at this Sam's and although the amount of cars in the lot was scary, once you were inside it was not crowded at all. This store was clean and well organized. The service desk staff were very helpful. Plenty of carts and hand trucks and enough products to keep you busily browsing if you're there window shopping.The thing to remember is that stores like this are geared for consumer and reseller level goods and foods. If you're looking for real high end then this might not be the place. Caviar, no! Tuna fish, yes!The prices are right as long as you can deal with the larger sizes. If you can't then find a buddy to share the cost and the goods. We were there mostly for household goods like detergents, paper products, cleaning stuff, etc. They blow the supermarket prices away.I would certainly recommend this place to price conscious shoppers or those looking to stock up on things.

No place to park. People with no disability took the disability parking. I had to walk a long crippled distance to get to the front door because some blankety blank stole the handicap parking space. Very busy inside. Pricey.

Sam's club has a wide variety of competitively priced food products. Carver hams, apple wood smoked bacon, Belvita blueberry breakfast biscuits, grape tomatoes, grilled chicken breasts, Stouffer's lasagna, reduced price choice rib steaks and reduced price London broil are a few of today's purchases. Shopping here accumulates "Sam's Bucks" which can be applied to your bill. Today $63.00 was discounted from my bill.Be sure to have cooler chests or freezer cold bags to pack your cold and frozen items. It can be difficult for smaller households or singles to shop here as many items are large economy size. A chest freezer and a vacuum sealing system helps to break large quantity items into smaller single sized meals and allows cost savings by buying in bulk.A Recent diagnosis of diabetes requires major change in my diet. New item Brussel sprouts with apple wood bacon in a honey butter sauce. Surprisingly low carbs! Affordable avocados, grape tomatoes, carver hams, salmon, chicken are a few of allowable staples. No pasta, bread, sugar or other high carbohydrate foods.My most recent trip to Sam's was typical in that they have added and deleted stock that I usually buy. They weren't stocking the four packs of 11 pound clumping cat litter. Now that I'm pushing 70 I can't throw around the 40 pound cat litters anymore. They stopped stocking Hillshire Farm products and only have one brand of bone in, frozen, chicken wings temporarily in stock. Only one rotisserie chicken was available and more were roasting but required a 45 minute wait. Nice quality sweet onions were available and a B/C grade yellow potatoes were in stock. Typically Sam's only carries better grade Russet baking potatoes. In order to find good quality yellow or golden potatoes Adam's is your best bet. I often find that most potatoes available at Sam's are almost at the end of their best sale date. Unfortunately potatoes don't have a best by date. Butter and heavy cream are priced lower than most other stores. The frozen Italian meatballs are small and not as good as homemade but are fine for a quick meal with pasta or sauced for Swedish meatballs. A double pack of generic anti-acid tablets were a good buy.Overall my bill was just under $450.00 for this trip with @ 30% being for pet supplies!Although I didn't check it out it appeared that they may have added a Sushi stationMajor shopping 🛒 trip to Sam's Club on 01/23/24. Stocked up on beef, pork, breakfast sausage, kielbasa, rotisserie chicken, 6 lb bag frozen meatballs, heavy cream, sweet unsalted butter, various bulk cheeses, russet potatoes @ 30 lbs, sweet onions @ 20 lbs, various bulk spices, gravy mix, Rao's Marinara sauce (best price in county), frozen 3 cheese shells, Belvita breakfast biscuits (dark chocolate), bulk whole bean organic dark roast arabica from Africa, grape tomatoes, total in excess of $ 500.00! Sam's is constantly shifting location of items and rearranging isles. It takes significant time to locate items unless you go weekly and can keep up with isle and item changes. Meat, vegetables and frozen foods basically stay in same locations. There is a fairly frequent turnover of brands and types of products available. Some of this is due to seasonal items and some due to changes in suppliers. Overall good value for your money.Recently utilized the curbside pickup service. Plus members don't have to pay for this service. It saved me time and the hassle of shopping in store. It's very easy to shop on-line from home and pick up in the parking lot. The associate will even load it in your car. Everything comes out packed in sturdy boxes that are recycled. I still time my pickup so that I arrive an hour before the scheduled time. This is in order to do my own meat selection and some produce items that require a discerning eye.This is definitely a better solution than waiting on line to checkout or having to empty out your cart into a second cart at the self checkout.

This is a good sams club. Definitely check thr unit price on things and compare pound per pound ect. Some amazing deals some things not at all a deal. Be a smart shopper

It's just not that great. Stock is poor on their own branded product. They vary other products a lot between stores. Service at self checkout is basically non existent. I get stuck there for 15-20 minutes regularly trying to get someone to confirm my age.Edit after feedback: This response would not help me to purchase age restricted items any faster. This automated response also gets 2 stars as it does not address what I was speaking to at all. Cool new feature though.

The Sam's club app works great, so easy to use. New feature has been added, that allows you to easily purchase more items after you check out and pay. Very simple to add items.

This Sam’s is just ok. & the bakery seems to always “sell out” ?!? I went 3 times in the last week & 1 day at 11am still no cakes out for the day & another day around noon supposedly sold out and would have some later so lastly I figured I’d go a lil later at 4pm thought maybe they’d have some but same story so I think they only make a few a day🤔

Wish they carried more gluten free products and snacks. Aisles are wide in some places but other areas its difficult to get your cart through, especially if there's another cart in the aisles. Place can be insanely busy so lots of shopping cart traffic jams.

The store is good. It’s generally well stocked, although sometimes you may not be able to get your favorite brand. Throughout the pandemic they’ve kept the store clean and well maintained. The lack of the final star is because it’s often difficult to find an associate if you need assistance and if you’re there when it’s busy to wait to have your receipt checked can be long.I use the scan and go feature in their app which means no waiting to checkout. This has been a game changer and with the time it saves me I don’t mind that some items are a little more expensive than the non-wholesale stores.

I have been a BJs member for many years. A long time ago I had a Sams's membership for a while but the nearest location to me isn't that convenient so I dropped my membership. There are a lot of product duplications between Sams and BJs but through the pandemic and post-pandemic product shortages, often one would be unable to get the products I'm looking for but the other has the product in stock. Prices are usually about the same, I just have to drive farther to shop at Sams.One thing I like at Sams's that BJs doesn't have is hot food and cold drink cafe. The hotdog and large pop deal is hard to pass up and I recently heard Sams is lowering their price for this meal deal even lower than the 2 bucks or so they were charging.I will probably maintain both of my memberships until product shortages improve.

Don't get a membership here. We got a yearly membership and they treated us like garbage. Rodney the supervisor refused to help us. 100% Not recommended. Tire center also told false information about a sale and then wanted to charge us for the mistake. I don't think so!

We went just to get food. Some pretzels, drinks, churros, hot dog and a pizza. For about $22 it fed six of us. Everything tasted great and we had a good time eating outside. The lady making the food was pleasant and fast.Very good visit.

If there's an issue you'll have to find an associate yourself, and you'll have to get talked at by the direct TV salesman, but overall the store is neat and organized. They regularly give out free samples which is nice. Expect to wait in line though because most people buy in bulk. It's definitely a more pleasant alternative to Walmart though.

You save on some items when buying in bulk, but regardless they have increased prices substantially on all their products, so it may not even be a good deal if your household don’t consume as much every month.
