They really know a lot about the animals. I was nervous because I wanted to purchase a fish, but I wasn't really educated on how to care for one. So I approached one of the staff , and she guided me another staff who knew all about how to care for fish. He was so friendly and patient with me. He even wrote everything down so I wouldn't forget. I walked out with a big smile on my face ready to start showing my cute little fishy a whole lot of love. So, great service from the staff at Petco! Very grateful.

I had an appointment for my dog to get a vaccination with Vetco. That went very well, from scheduling all the way through timely execution. The store itself is OK. There were no poop pick up bags available outside, the cat nip offered for sale looked very dead and check out was very slow for some reason.

Michelle did an exceptional job on our large Bernese mountain dog. It was a long session and she made sure he had breaks. He was in great spirits afterward and looked incredible.

The ladies at the grooming section are so nice. I've only been there twice yet both times they were very knowledgeable with the questions I asked. Going forward this is the place for my Honey to be groomed!

I always have to wait in line to check out for way too long. There is never enough staff to help. And when you ask for help I feel like I am a burden on employees there. I'd rather Pet smart

First. Your receptionist is excellent! I’d put her through vet tech school to replace the vet tech I had. The receptionist was kind, upbeat and couldn’t help enough. My dog had urinated ( upon greeting females) and the receptionist couldn’t be nicer and cleaned it up. Later, after the visit, my pup had diarrhea all over ( that’s why she was there). The receptionist didn’t waste a second and got the fecal matter collected for a needed sample as well as again, cleaned the extensive mess.The tech came in the room, didn’t introduce herself to me. She did greet my pup, upon which, my pup peed all over the room. The tech did nothing, not offer a paper towel for me to clean up. She was cold and didn’t talk to me other than ask a few questions about my pup. She quickly left the room. I didn’t even know she was a tech! I went to the paper towels and there was none in the room. What gives? The tech left me with 5 spots of pee and no way to clean it up. My pup had to walk around in this pee and also got his leash all wet with pee.The vet came in, introduced herself , and asked me appropriate questions. She was curt in her answers, not very communicative and very cold. She didn’t even try to make my pup feel comfortable. At this point, I asked the vet for paper towels. The tech immediately said.. Oh, I’ll do it! ( was she showing off like she cared in front of the MD?). She went and got a towel to clean the floor.Overall, the only shining moment in this visit, was the caring personable receptionist. She went over and beyond, to make me feel comfortable and welcome to the practice. The tech and the Vet, were not at all. I do not think I would recommend PETCO vet services to anyone. Too cold and impersonal. I didn’t like my experience. I will not be back.

There was an employee that was working stock on the sales floor and when I walked by, he asked if he could say hi to my dachshund. The guy was so sweet, he got down on his stomach so he was level with my pup and therefore less intimidating. It was really cute.

Petco vetco I love that store. The vet services is a welcomed addition. The vet services o love them for my german shepard Sara the dog food prices at petco the freshness of their dog food cannot be beat I love them

The place was clean and although no one asked if they could help me, I found what I was looking for but when I went to bring it to the register to pay they didn't have anymore. It was a cat collar for my son's cat.

My little guy is a rescue and very anxious overall. His past groomer's hardly took time to remember his name but, Max is his groomer now and when I tell you, how kind and patient they are!! My 15yr olds tail was wagging while Max patiently explained how he did throughout the grooming process, after everything was done. Thank you for providing great service Max! See you next time!

Petco in Kingston is okay if you know exactly what you're looking for. They seem to be very short staffed just like most other retail spots that we'vebeen to lately. There was a very long line at the one cashier, there is one person taking care of the fish area, and nobody on the sales floor to help find anything. We usually go there just for cat litter, everything else is pretty pricey.

Great communication with the groomer with regard to Woody's bath, trim, etc. Ivette was very pleasant, and knowledgeable and interacted with Woody very well. She explained the care that he would receive thoroughly and reviewed the care he received when we picked him up. Great job!

Dr. Winkler and the staff at Vetco were very professional and compassionate. They all were great with me as I got emotional during the visit and they took great care of my dog. They explained everything they were doing and took their time to answer any questions I had. Can not recommend them enough.

I do not recommend dog training with Shirley. The class had no structure or guidance. She was condescending and did not take any time to get to know me or my dog. In my first class, she just "tested" my dog on commands that he has never heard before, then gave us a packet of "homework" for us to work on at home. We did not learn how to teach any of these commands. When my dog growled at her for leaning over him, she told a story of a dog with his breed that had to be put down for getting aggressive. I immediately got a refund after the class.

Theodore (our cat) had fairly extensive surgery (deep dental cleaning with multiple extractions) at Vetco and he was treated with such love, respect, and care. The vet and vet techs were so comforting and professional. They clearly let us know what was going on. They were clear and compassionate about his medical condition. I highly recommend them for any service!

Love Petco. We go weekly for training with Regina at Petco. We have gone since our puppy was three months old and she helped us socialize him in puppy playtime (let me tell you, he howled like he was a banshee the first day). He was absolutely terrified of most things, they were so new to him and we had no idea how to raise a puppy.Well, he's 9 months old now and has great manners, he's confident and you wouldn't have recognized him six months ago with how proud he is and we are. She taught is a great deal and we feel confident as pet parents now.All the staff is absolutely amazing, not to sale the rest of them short. They recognize customers and their pets and treat customers very well. They always know what we need and are helpful with any questions.

Here you can buy pets, buy pet stuff like food, toys, and even crickets. They never have small ones tho. I love the cats here.
