I ordered a designer special online to be delivered to a restaurant for a party. Then called the shop to elaborate on the flower mood. They delivered and then some, exactly what I was imagining and was delivered on time! Made a such a special night! I recommend HPF for even those small things in life.

Can't express enough how INCREDIBLE the Hops Petunia team is!! From the very beginning Taylor was so patient with me as I kept changing my mind with what I wanted. Her perspective was so helpful when I felt unsure of certain decisions. When I showed up for the sample floral meeting, I was blown away. Everything was so spot on and captured my vision perfectly. And then to show up on the wedding day to see everything come together...WOW. I was speechless. The chuppah was the most romantic, organic, elegant, garden chic moment. Not to be dramatic but my wedding florals were the most beautiful wedding florals I had ever seen. I didn't expect to be such a "flower person" but watching Paloma and her team unload the florals from their van into my venue by sneaking peeks out the window was one of the best parts of my wedding day. Paloma's design process was seamless and she was such a kind voice to consult along the way. Pricing was totally fair for the amount of artistry that went into the vision and production and sourcing of these gorgeous flowers. I want to get married again so that I can buy more florals.

We drove down from Montreal and found this shop on the internet. We got there late Saturday on Easter weekend looking for some flowers for a friend for Sunday. I was blown away by the exquisite selection of flowers. Not your standard florist. The bouquet that I presented the next day was photographed by all and of course no one knew the names of the flowers. I received a message on the Monday morning from the recipient telling me that she had a hard time leaving the room with the magnificent flowers to go to bed that night and thanked me for bringing such magical, artistic beauty. So thank you Hops Petunia I will stop by again next year!! Wish you were in Montreal.I am posting a photo and apologize for the mess all around the arrangement.

We couldn't have been more thrilled with the stunning arrangements we received for our last-minute New Year's Eve dinner celebration. The flowers were gorgeous and service was extremely friendly and attentive. Wished we lived in the area so we could order flowers from here all the time. I spoke to several florists in the area but Hops Petunia, specifically Paloma, got my vision immediately and put together the most comprehensive and gorgeous proposal that hooked me from the start. Paloma and Kelli were a pleasure to work with and their skills seem truly unmatched. Our florals, candles and tablescapes (they even helped me pick runners and napkin colors!) were magical and blended so seamlessly with both our outdoor ceremony/cocktails on the Senate House State Historic Site grounds and the indoor reception at Senate Garage. Our chuppah and my bouquet, two of the most important floral components of a Jewish wedding, were drop dead gorgeous. I absolutely loved working with HP and am so glad we stuck with a florist local to Kingston. HP made our wedding dreamy, warm, romantic and dare I say really cool. They took my ideas and made them more stunning than I could have ever imagined, and we couldn't be more grateful!

I was visiting Kingston this past week and purchased a Monstera plant along with a basket and Boost plant vitamins. I presented the gift to my mom today and she LOVES it!!!Kristina and Masha were so wonderfully kind, accommodating and patient. I was staying in an Airbnb that had household pets and didn't feel comfortable having the plant within reach for the duration of my 8-day stay. Kristina and Masha held the items in the shop for me until the last day of my trip without hesitation! Not only that, they answered ALL of my millions of questions with a smile.Furthermore, I was concerned about transporting the plant from Kingston back to NYC via the Trailways bus, but they were able to wrap the plant and basket up so well that they arrived in perfect condition.Kelli has a great shop and I'll 100% be purchasing more plants during my next trip to Kingston.-Brit

Kelli of Hops Petunia did an amazing job for my 10/2/15 wedding in Brooklyn. When I first spoke to her, Kelli immediately understood what I wanted for the wedding and the sort of look I was trying to achieve. Despite contacting Kelli only two weeks or so before the wedding, she put together a well thought out proposal working that matched our budget. Kelli even came to Brooklyn to do a walk through of the venue with us and offered some suggestions that were still within our budget and that were specific to the site itself. I am so glad we worked with her as what we got in the end was truly exceptional and went beyond my expectations. Everything that Kelli did- from my bridal bouquet to the larger arrangements to the huppah to the candles she put on and around the tables- was just great. I can't thank her or her team enough for doing such a beautiful job, and without any hesitation, I would absolutely recommend Hops Petunia to any couple looking for a reliable, creative and unique florist.

Kelli and Hops Petunia are AMAZING!!! I discovered Kelli through instagram and fell in love with her style and work quickly. She is such a fun and kind person to work with and was really easy going and responsive throughout the planning process. I gave her examples of what I liked, but really trusted her expertise because I don't know a ton about flowers! She created the most incredible bouquet for me - it was perfectly sized to my height and dress shape and had the most remarkable blend of colors, shapes, textures, and flowers. It was just the right balance of composed and "wild" and fit my wedding and me perfectly. Kelli brings in the most amazing flowers and her selection is unsurpassed by anyone (in Kingston, or the Hudson Valley). You can buy a single stem, or have her make an arrangement. Either way, you can't go wrong.The shop, itself, is cozy and perfectly edited. Stocked with stationery, books, jewelry, chocolate, fancy towels, apothecary, and gorgeous ceramics (including a Frances Palmer vase I'm currently ogling).It's the perfect spot to buy a gift for yourself or for others.And p.s. they just opened an annex next store, for even more flowers, plants and goodies.

Bait and switch. They advertise a 20% discount code (which they make up with high shipping charges) for the VSS Java and after they get the email it shows that the code is not valid. If the coupon is expired it should be promptly removed as it's false advertisement. Moreover, they extend a $5 coupon for first purchase, but it cannot be combined with any other discount. This is not a second coupon and it should be an additional discount like all department stores do if one signs up for a promotion. In my opinion these are bad sale practices that underestimate consumers and they only backfire, as I will make sure not to consider this business for any of my future purchases.
