I ordinarily have zero complaints with anything in this location however, the past several weeks, the fruit cups have become a waste of my money.The grapes are mushy, the cantelope chunks still have the seeds, the watermelon is rind and not ripe.Can we bring back the person who used to make them so folks aren't wasting 5-8 dollars on fruits where only half the container is consumable??!

Nice clean grocery store. There is plenty of selection in fresh produce. Well stocked, Deli, fresh meat, as well as frozen and fresh seafood. Isles were well stocked and free of clutter. Check out was quick and easy with several registers open plus self check out lanes. The staff members I encountered were friendly and asked if I needed help locating any items. Overall, it was a very pleasant grocery shopping experience.

I shop here every other day it's my go to store. The produce me and seafood department all fresh bakery is full of sweet options, unfortunately for me the basic household supplies, Laundry detergent, dish detergent, toilet paper ect are more expensive so I prefer to get that elsewhere

When I moved back to Kingston, my friend told me "Oh, if you're going to Hannaford, go to (this location) - it's the better one!" Now having experienced it, I much agree - this is the best Hannaford in the area! Good produce, deli, bakery; decent selection of global sauces & dry goods. Very clean and well lit. It's a nice grocery store, with driving an extra ten minutes by a long shot. Update: still my local grocery store

They have everything right where I can fund it, my hometown supermarket. Meats and fish are prime cuts, and not as pricey as other supermarkets in the area.

I love shopping at Hannaford!! They are always clean and well lit. There is plenty of room in the isles. All of the employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about this market. On top of all of that, they are very community activityIn many ways, donations, sponsorships, etc...They are environmentally friendly!!!

As supermarkets go, it’s pretty standard. This review is specific to their to-go shopping option. Paid $10 plus tip for delivery, which is fine. But to have almost half of the items on my list not substituted is just poor customer service and a loss of income to the store, especially when I wrote in the notes to please find substitutions for all out items. You can’t find substitutions for beans, loaf of bread, peanuts and pasta?!? Come on now. Will not be using this service again.

We are in town visiting and did two food shopping trips exactly one week apart in two competing supermarkets down the street from each other. Now this is not perfect by any means and some of the items we purchased were different and would affect the final bill paid. But we instead kept a close tab on certain items that we tend to purchase often, or weekly if you will. Again this will not be perfect and is only our results.On the items that we purchase often, we found this Hannaford to be quite a bit less expensive than their competitor just down the street on pretty much every item we paid attention to. It was also this way with the same two stores down where we lived, not far from Kingston. But this gave us the opportunity to check in exactly one week shop at the different stores. The competitor down the street did have a sale on one item that basically brought the price on that item down to slight less expensive than Hannaford. But their normal price is quite a bit higher. The final bills although not exactly the same total items, also reflected a much higher lower bill at Hannaford. I want to point out that only a few items were different. And we tried to take any difference into account on our price differential.Anyway, prices aside. This Hannaford seems nice inside. It did seem clean and the employees I spoke with seemed friendly. Why are so many of the same name stores laid out so totally different?(This is the same with all supermarkets) A little consistency goes a long way. We did have issues navigating the unfamiliar store to find the items that we were looking for, as we did with the competition. Familiarity is your friend when shopping and makes that much easier. So the regular folks probably zip right through knowing where things are in an orderly fashion.The parking area I found better to navigate than some, but still not the easiest. But again, it may get easier when more familiar with that particular store.We found the deli and meat sections better in Hannaford. But to be fair, we shopped just a little bit earlier on the Hannaford week than the competitor's week. So I think it was a little quieter. Maybe, maybe not.All in all, I found this Hannaford to be a nice store, with some nice features. In our case, they did have much lower prices on the items we purchased. Now this may not be this way for you. But it was for us, as we have seen in the past at the same two stores near our home. I do want to point out that we no longer live in this area and do not normally shop at either of these stores now. This was all my idea to do this comparison based on our past experiences with the two named stores where we used to live.

The Pharmacy Department was excellent in providing a 2022 senior flu vaccination. They had information previously provided on line, were very welcoming, did not mind questions, and there was no wait. I will go out of my way to go there again.

Asked for thinly cut deli turkey, got thick slabs instead. Turkey wasn’t great either. This store has good produce, very nice quality. Always running out of the good brand of toilet paper. 2 out of 5.

Although one would think Hannaford is just your average grocery store, the hannaford's in Kingston has a very wide range of organic products throughout the store. Their produce is always in very good condition, they have fresh baked goods, a fairly large cheese department, an excellent meats and cold cut area, and fresh meats cut to order. The people working there are always very friendly which is a good sign - it means that they're being treated well and that they enjoy their work. Most grocery stores don't have such happy employees. The prices on the organic goods here beat the prices at any health food store around so it's worth going there to see if they have the same products as the health food store before making a purchase. Also, the management is very receptive to any comments you might have to offer, which is unusual and very welcome.

My preferred shopping store for groceries. Their selection has not been as great lately, but they also need more cashier's. I went today, a Saturday, and there was only 4 regular registers, 1 Express and self checkout. Which means the lines were very long. I was pleased to see they had people bagging at the check-out, which is normally very rare.

So happy to have a Hannafords nearby. Great selection of produce, goods and meats. Best prices, courteous staff and clean, well organized and bright. A lot bigger than the one in Livingston. And their Inspiration brand is really good quality. Still love it. Their brand of dark chocolate cookies is addictive.

Sure, Hannaford is a little (and I mean little) bit more expensive than it's competition. In exchange for that tiny amount more money you get a store so clean you can eat off the floors. There is never a bad produce smell (I'm looking at you, Shop Rite) and the selections are great. The prepared foods are tasty and fresh. The hot wing bar is great. Everything by their house brand (Taste of Inspiration) is fantastic and they have lots of weird unexpected things to try.I've been shopping at Hannaford since I was a penniless teenager and I hardly go anywhere else. If you haven't tried it yet, check one out. It just feels so much nicer than other groceries.
