The staff are great. It is obvious that they are understaffed and overworked. The system is garbage. Any time I call I wait for at least a half an hour. The app is not always accurate and can only tell you basic information. My medications get returned if I’m not there to pick them up in time, but I don’t get notified that they are being returned. Many times my availability to pick up medications are brief breaks during their busiest times. Their hours are cut way back and now closed Sundays. CVS is no longer helpful, efficient, or convenient in any way. I will be switching.

The pharmacy never answers the phone! Do you have a phone? That's very strange for a pharmacy that gives medicine to people to not have any way to communicate with them. It's really not nice. There are 4 ppl from what I have seen going there physically so why is no one answering the phone?

They should have "0" stars. how the hell is a pharmacy closed for three days. I understand being close on Thanksgiving. But the day after Thanksgiving and then this Saturday after that this is unacceptable. So people are just supposed to go without their medication’s.? There is nowhere that I seen. It stated that they would be closed for three days for the holidays. First of all Black Friday is not a stinking holiday exclamation exclamation

Can’t speak to other people’s experience, but legit the store was really nice and tidy, in a convenient location, and on a really wild, busy Friday like today, the pharmacy staff were working so hard to accommodate everyone, I didn’t see anyone there not *doing* something. In addition, they were just very sweet and genuine.I was able to have my prescription successfully transferred from another store the same day and ready to go at an earlier date than I could have reasonably hoped for.For now, just gotta plan ahead if you can and go with the flow because people are just trying to do their best in life with what they’ve got, as I seriously highly doubt the folk working there deliberately hatched a plot to make everyone else’s life worse and inefficient. If it goes easier for the workers, it stands to reason it goes easier for the customers and vice versa.(If you’ve noticed changes in service recently, perhaps the issue stems from a common one that I’ve frustratingly encountered at times, and that is at an organizational level).

Pharmacy used to be normal, Im not sure what the heck is going on bit they simply cannot dispense your meds properly and on time not to mention they are closed when people can actually go pick up their meds. I recommend changing pharmacies to wherever else, this one sucks

Used to be somewhat quick in and out for the pharmacy, but something in the last two months changed. Multiple 30+ min waits in line, multiple issues from others in line with medication availability and processing. The DMV at its worst was a more pleasant experience than what this place has become.

Script stuck at processing for over a week. Can’t get through on phone to understand why the delay. Will wait on hold and eventually get disconnected. Pharmacy hours grossly reduced. Went on Saturday hoping to resolve in person and they aren’t even open anymore on a Saturday! Abysmal. Wish my employer would let me go to Nekos-Dedericks Pharmacy which is so good. If you have a choice, go there! And steer clear of CVS.

Closed on a Saturday and my husband was discharged from hip replacement surgery. Couldn’t get scripts until next day and still had to wait an hour plus to get through the line. Very poor service and quality customer service.

Prescription put in on 9/25/23. Went 9/29/23 to pick up. Waited in line for 20/30 minutes. Not ready. Said it would “expedited” and ready in an hour. Went back 9/30/23. Waited in line for another 30 minutes. Wasn’t ready. They told me they never expedited it. They told me now it is being “expedited” to be ready in an hour. Staff properly or bust.

Horrible pharmacy ! Every time I try to call to speak to someone in pharmacy takes over 20 min to speak to someone . Had many issues with my prescription being sent to them because of issues with their computers. I do not recommend to anyone !

Horrible pharmacy. 30 min on hold before they ans the phone. They have been trying to sync my meds for 6 months and still aren’t filling them correctly. Asked to speak to manager and was told they don’t have one. They lost my business. I do not recommend this place.

I shop in there probably three or four times a week cause I get my prescriptions at this location lol I won’t be getting them here ever again I’m now going to Hannaford and the reason why is this every time I go in there and it happens to be in the evening which I have no problem using self check out and let me tell you Ive work retail my whole life and I’ve been stuck at self check out 85% of it so I have no issue using those machines I actually prefer them, my problem is every single time I use it I have an issue with CVS moronic stupid coupons that always give me trouble so when I need someone to help me with it, the cashier is always outside or never helpful or rude and it’s always the same one. I don’t know her name small African-American woman with no hair or little to no hair I don’t know why or what her problem is , but it’s very irritating. I don’t do the surveys very often but since I’ve worked retail my entire life and I’ve never treated customers this way and believe me when I tell you, I’ve been treated pretty poorly. It’s very unprofessional to be outside, especially in the evening or night when you have customers inside most likely stealing from your company because your cashiers outside talking!! besides the point that I can never get help with these coupons I never can get my discount because for some reason I tried to cancel my one account to another and it will not let me in the last time I asked this woman for help she was rude and then there was another time I asked for help the cashier who was helpful and try to help me couldn’t figure it out for whatever reason I lost out on tons of discounts and again happen tonight and I’m done. I’m sure you hear this a lot. I’m sure you don’t care which is perfectly fine but I sure thought you should know. especially that your night cashier that isn’t watching your store.

I genuinely miss the days when cvs and the pharmacy were "24hrs." That being said, everyone hates waiting on line, especially in the drive through. If you're one of those people that take 15-25 at the pharmacy drive thru, just know that you are hated by the staff and the drivers behind you.

They have an extensive inventory of everything under the sun! 🌅 The pharmacy provides quick efficient service. Sales are a great money saver but you must have a CVS card to take advantage. My only complaint is that as a veteran I have 100% coverage for prescriptions. CVS is certified as a participating pharmacy that provides no cost prescriptions paid for by the VA. Unfortunately even with the instruction sheet I provided them they were unable to process payment and I had to pay out of pocket. As a disabled vet my income is minimal, the out of pocket payment means my monthly grocery money was cut in half! Lots of ramen on the horizon! 😟

This review is specific to the pharmacy at this location. Historically I’ve always had very easy experience with the pharmacy at the CVS location. In about the past six months it has been nothing but a headache. I have prescriptions that are on auto refill. I’ll go to pick them up when they say that they are filled only to be told each time that I need to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to actually fill the prescription. Currently I’m waiting on a medication-that was submitted hours ago. I suspect I will have the same experience again. Have moved my prescriptions over to Walgreens.

The pharmacy here is unbelievably inefficient, the head pharmacists are bad at communicating with doctors, told me they are unable to order certain medications that other local cvses were baffled because they said its super easy and takes literally 24 hrs to order from the same supplier. Im convinced this pharmacy just runs on hostility And laziness.

Certain pharmacists that work here are the most unprofessional and nastiest people I've come across in both a professional setting (I am a local healthcare worker) and being a customer. Countless people I've spoken to feel the same way and no longer use the pharmacy for that reason alone.

My wife had an 11 am appt for the shingles vaccine. As per the website, she arrived 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appt. The pharmacist asked her the appt time, then rudely told her to sit over there for 15 minutes until 11 am. After waiting the full 15 minutes, he came over and gave her the vaccine.

I’ve had a really terrible experience with this pharmacy. They seem really disorganized, understaffed, and unwilling to help. This week alone, my family has had two important medications messed up by this pharmacy and it has been extremely hectic trying to work it out. The person behind the counter was very rude and we’ve had to switch to a different pharmacy to even get our medications. Overall, it has been very difficult getting prescriptions in a timely manner for as long as we’ve been working with this pharmacy.

Pharmacy is a mess. Its woefully understaffed, and auto-refill system and text communication is just awful because its controlled by Corporate and they don't operate in synch with the local store, causing customer confusion and delayed refills.

horrible.doctor sent a prescription 36 hours ago and wasn't ready when I arrived. asked me to step aside and wait, and let me sit there for 25 minutes. wasn't until I raised my voice and asked that the woman decided to help me.one cashier at the pharmacy, line wrapping around the store. pharmacists hanging out doing nothing and talking to each other all the while.go somewhwre else. whoever manages this location should be replaced with the whole staff.

Poor customer service. Rude evening staff at drive thru, waited almost 5 minutes at the drive through window. Then I was greeted without any sort of consumer friendly manner. My insurance coverage had a new number which could have been confirmed by a simple call once rejected as it is a new year. The staff just looked at me and pushed the declination statement at me and told me to call for myself. I returned home, called my insurance carrier who informed me the pharmacy did not even call to get a confirmation request.

Worst CVS pharmacy there is. 20 to 30 mins at the drive through... When it's actually open and then you hope they counted the correct amount of pills I've been shorted on pills in numerous occasions . Dr called in a script on Thursday, it's now Saturday at 6pm and the pharmacy is closed!!

I asked one of the employees where the restroom is and to my surprise he said they don’t have one. I also work at a chain pharmacy and I know there are bathrooms in all pharmacies. I asked where the employees go and he said he goes to a neighboring business to use theirs. After stocking up on what I needed I asked another employee if they have a restroom and he answered they have one that’s not for the public. I guess I had an expectation that people are kinder in Kingston - especially those who work in a pharmacy but I’m wrong. Luckily another place was much nicer but I won’t be visiting this CVS.

This is a 1-star review in terms of whether it meets expectations; but with the large increase in folks seeing physicians now, the number of prescriptions has also surged and this pharmacy is understaffed. No matter whether your med is a new Rx or renewable, expect to make one visit to the store to ask for the med (which will alert them to fill it) and at least 1 more visit to obtain your medication. Don't expect to pick up your medication on the first try, even if your doc sent it in days before.

I have been trying to give this pharmacy a chance for 5 months now. Every single time there has been some kind of problem. I have spent 5 months feeling anxiety every time I have to fill my perscription because I have to talk to these people. I have only once been offered any kind of help or any kind of explanation from one very nice woman. Whoever you are, thank you, it felt so good compared to being hung up on or treated like a nuisance for asking why I'm given no information on my perscription up until the very last minute, and what I can do to fix this month's screw up. 5 months of feeling sick to my stomach every time I have to call these people. Finally I can tell myself, it's not me, it's them. Never coming back here.
