These are hands down THE best ice-cream sandwiches I have ever tasted in my life. My life was changed when I bit into my first ice-cream sandwich at Boice and I was hooked! Life was never quite the same after that. They are just simply delicious and eating one is not enough. I love their different flavors and always look forward to seeing what they have in store that day. Orange creamsicle, Italian coffee, and pistachio are some of my favorites. Unlike the super soft and soggy ice-cream sandwiches you usually get in stores, the cookies and ice-cream on the sandwiches at Boice’s are hard and are freshly made. I wish all ice-cream sandwiches taste like the ones at Boice and I wish they sell this stuff in NYC. If you are in the Kingston area and love ice-cream, I would highly recommend you make a stop here. It is definitely a nice treat!

Hey guys.OK so today I decided to give this ice cream store anothertry. It has been 4 years since I was there last and I got myself of an aluminum chocolate twist to start I actually called to see if they accepted credit cards. And she said yes but there is a little bit of feed use the credit card but that's always nice to know because I don't always carry cash on me.Upon going to the store there was nobody at the window so I went inside and there were 2 lovely young ladies and they were very very helpful um I didn't ask if they had the pumpkin soft serve. She said yes and then when she went over she didn't realize that it wasn't frozen yet so I said not a big deal let me just get a vanilla and chocolate because I had to get back during my job. And I was pleasingly surprised. The ice cream that they physically make there was absolutely delicious. It was smooth creamy and I definitely taste the difference in the flavors. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. And the young ladies were very cheerful and smiling it's always nice to see employees that are helpful and happy in their job I did not get their names but I wanna thank them so much for helping me today. The ice cream was amazing just as I remember it when I was a child.So I wanted to revise my review on them from 4 years ago when I really was not happy with it and it was literally the second time they had made the ice cream for me it was not the first time.I highly recommend going here they have a vast variety of their own milks and ice cream cakes and pies and things like that beautiful store beautiful people very clean and I love a business that keeps their place clean.Thank you For the ice cream it was awesome.Remember have fun with what you're doing and keep it real because you know I do with each and every review.Yours truly.The Real DealWheelchair accessibility: There are absolutely no stairs. They make their own soft serve and have several flavors which is why I gave it a five. Otherwise it’s a four star. Not the best soft serve ever but really good. Very reasonable prices too. And they dip

Even if there's a line, the great staff move it along quickly.A great variety of soft serve and hard ice cream flavors.Customers love being able to customize with so many different toppings.A few tables and two model cows outside to enjoy your cold treats on.Delicious creamy ice.Parking lot but no bathrooms. Bring some wet wipes to clean up afterwards. Ice cream melts fast on these hot summer days.

Wonderful ice cream, great staff, and a conscientious approach to Covid safety. I stopped by on a Monday afternoon in December and ordered a cup of ice cream from the takeout windows. At their recommendation, I ordered the Italian coffee soft serve, paired with the cardamom pistachio (hard ice cream), with rainbow sprinkles in a cup. It was delicious and fresh; the flavors tasted natural and the whole pistachios were an excellent touch. I will return on my next trip through Kingston and pick up some pre-packed pints to go!

taste wise, best ice cream in the area. they never disappoint in that regard, however the last year or so the presentation has gotten horrible. each time we go my partner and i get the same thing same size and they look like different orders. the cones are awfully crooked and uneven, which overall isn’t the end of the world, but paying the same price to get 2 clearly different sized items is frustrating. add a cone so crooked it’ll flop over if you don’t eat it insanely fast, and it makes the experience less enjoyable. i just think the kids working need a bit of a lesson on customer service (speak up, and maybe smile a little) and how to make a soft serve cone evenly and then they’ll be perfect!

The ice cream deserves five stars. However, there is no management there and it is not well-kept up. They do not turn the lights on, so you can’t see the menu at night. The kids working there are great, but there is no supervision. It is a shame because it has been going downhill the last couple years.

Have always had great cakes, but the last one was lacking fudge & crunchies, and was full of air bubbles. Very disappointing.After contacting them directly, they did credit me. I was pleased with the outcome, and will continue to support their business

After leaving an appointment for my daughter we stopped by for the first time here at Boice Brothers. My kids and I are very picky with ice cream and I have to say this Ice cream was delicious, will be going back again sometime this summer.

Their ice cream cakes are delicious, with layers of vanilla and chocolate soft serve, fudge, and chocolate crunch. Ordered a cake for a birthday and they even offered to make it smaller than their smallest 6” cake for our 2 person party :) Prices are very reasonable too. Will certainly be back!

The pistachio is some of the best I've had! Their pumpkin dole shift serve is a great lactose free alternative. This is a great stop on the way to the catskills!

Boice brothers: please don't let your employees ruin a good business. Have been going here for years and have always enjoyed their ice cream. Today 7/24 around 2pm there was 3 employees standing by the service window talking amongst themselves but they would not take my order. I waited approximately 3 minutes, the employees looked at me waiting several times but did not open the window or take my order. I ended up leaving without an ice cream and went somewhere else. It was a sunny 95 degrees on a Sunday, a perfect day to cool off with an ice cream and the place was empty.I am a caucasian looking male and I do believe race may have been the issue as I saw the caucasian couple behind me leave empty handed as well. I understand it's hard to find good help, but there has to be a better option than the staff you had working today. Very disappointing, thanks for years of good service/product.

Boices is known as the best ice cream joint in town and lives up to it! The portions are pretty large and the prices are low. I adore their milkshakes but their parfaits and even just plain soft serve are wonderful. I always order the small milkshake though because the medium is like a large and the large is practically a bucket. Most sundaes are great to share! They offer amazing custom ice cream sandwiches and cakes and their normal dairy products are exceptional too. It's a great place to go and enjoy ice cream with your friends.

If Willy Wonka made ice cream this is how good it would be! Prices are beyond reasonable and the serving sizes are impressive. A small is a medium or even a large at some other ice cream spots! Treat your taste buds! You'll be glad you did.

The ice cream is good, but I wish their hard serve ice cream had more selection. They only had the basics plus one or two today. They had a nice selection of soft serve though! They seem to have removed the $10 limit on cards so I'm happy about that. They had a sign up saying they were running a little slow because of their new system but I think they did just fine. The ice cream was good and the service was good as well.

It's quite good. Been coming off and on for years. Try any flavor but make sure to do the wet walnuts, they really bring it to life. The pumpkin was good.

Best ice cream cake I've ever had, and a great price! My boyfriend got one for my birthday last weekend. We joked that we might start buying those instead of cartons of ice cream and celebrate random holidays....& when I say joke, I mean we're probably going to get one for Daylight Savings Day as the next thing to celebrate 😂 Absolutely delicious!

Get there on time or not at all. They run out fast and rush service. The ice cream is good and fairly priced. The shakes are a little thick, use a spoon. The workers seemed friendly. This place is good for local, but if you want cheaper and better, go to Stewart's or ices sceams in Elizaville or Dell's.
