Cute, old fashioned store. The lady working was ssuper friendly. The floors reminded me of the old grocery store I grew up with. Only problem was they had too many snacks that I had to buy and eat!

Small, hometown shop of convenience owned, operated and employed by good people. Expect things to be a little more than you would pay at other retailers but it's a mom and pop shop that has been in business for so long for good reason and is worth the extra expense for convenience and sometimes you find things there you don't find elsewhere! From amazing sandwiches, that I highly recommend, to gas to guns & a little of everything in between. Please do yourself a favor & treat yourself to a sandwich or burger while you're there, they are beautifully crafted, made fresh to order with quality ingredients, take just a few minutes-unless you place your order during small town lunch rush for the locals that know very well of these amazing sandwiches of which i speak! They do an outstanding job! Delicious!😋 In the summer months, stop by Cream At The Top for the best ice cream treats to follow up your sandwich or burger...(if you have room... those sandwiches are no joke, I promise!) just a short distance from Wilcox General Store! Equally delicious & unfortunately too convenient!😆

The owner and staff are very friendly. The product selection is good. The burgers from the grill are out of this world. My buddy got a hot sandwich and he said it was delicious too. Highly recommend.

I have lived in Ithaca area for 13 years, and the best sandwiches in the area are made by Wilcox. These are basic sandwiches done extremely well. I love BLTs, and the bacon is some of best I have ever had on a sandwich (I would also recommend rye for the bread). My son is a burger fan, and he always raves that Wilcox burgers are far better the Five Guys. The egg sandwiches are also very good choices.The other reviewer is right, there is generally lots of mayo. You can also order light mayo.

Wilcox General Store is exactly the type if place you want to have close by if you live in the middle of nowhere. The place is pretty small but stocked floor to ceiling with anything you'd ever need; their impressive selection has never let us down. Gasoline and a deli with sandwiches made to order. Very friendly and helpful staff.
