We stopped in after a wonderful hike at the Gunks and had a super tasty meal. Fried Brussel Sprouts, smashed burgers, bacon cheddar burger, loaded fries with Chimi steak all were amazing. Non alcoholic IPA was pretty good as well. Came right when it opened at 3pm. Highly recommend

First stop on our camping trip in the area this weekend and with it only just beginning, we can safely say this was the highlight of the trip. The food, drinks, service and overall essence are 100%. Everyone is so nice and the food comes out so quick. Truly, truly loved getting to eat and hang out here!

The food here used to be so good. Not sure if it was an off night or it just got worse. It felt understaffed. All the tables were full. They had the door open (it is 50*) and the inside was so cold. The beers are good. This place is enjoyable when the weather is warm and you get sit outside in the sun, order food and drink at the bar grab a number and wait for your food to come.

We came here for a casual dinner. Great comfort food menu. I had a bacon cheddar smashburger with fries. It was scrumptious and filling. Service was super friendly and attentive. I will certainly be back.

Visiting the area this weekend so tried this place and it was excellent. Very rustic feel to it, fireplace on the inside so nice cabin fire smell when you walk in.About a dozen of their own brews on tap, had the pilsner and it was nice and light. Burger and wings were excellent as well. Service and bartender was prompt as well.Place was clean and really chill, highly recommend.

My friend and I went for a long hike at Sam’s Point and decided to grab a quick bite to eat somewhere local. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food! The wings…the wings, so delicious, didn’t even think to take a photo. So deliciously crispy! The arugula salad with skirt steak was delicious! My friend had an Oklahoma burger and she smashed it; food is so amazing! Thanks for the great service!!

Were craving a good refreshing drink and fatty food after a strenuous hike at the Minnewaska State Park. Luckily found this place only a few minutes from there! The place has both, a good indoor setup and a nice outdoor area, and is extremely pet friendly. We got us a good spot outside in the shade and enjoyed a couple of flavorful beers and juicy burgers! Would definitely stop by again next time we venture out there and recommend to everyone in the area. #craftbeer #beerandburger

It is small and homey feeling. It was a little chilly with the back door open but besides that, everything was great. Beer was awesome coming from a small local brewery. The food was all homemade and the sauce were made in house which was awesome! Dog and family friendly. Great place to stop at on your next trip to the area!

My husband and I were so excited to try this place. We left feeling underwhelmed. The Mac and cheese was surprisingly tasteless. A couple of items were sold out 2 hours after opening. The tacos are not worth the price, extremely tiny portions with no flavor. My husbands burger and the beer was pretty good. I am hoping it was just an off day.

Stopped by after a hike in Minnewaska. Was really pleased by the experience. Wait was only about 15 min even on a busy weekend. Staff was kind, considerate and helpful. Beer was quite good. Burger was delicious and the veggie starters (shishito peppers and brussel sprouts) were excellent and generously portioned. Would certainly return.

The food and drinks were really good but very overpriced. $8 for a 16oz beer, okay it's local. $9 for a sangria filled with ice? $18 for a 6 inch long cheese steak sandwich? That's just unreasonable. My girlfriend and I ended up paying nearly $70 for one drink each and one meal each and we left not tipsy nor full.On top of that, I asked for a glass of water after we paid the bill and never got it. No service at all. It's like once we wrote the tip down, we did not matter.So 3 stars, overpriced and not the best service. Nice atmosphere, tasty food, good drink.

Having past this before on the highway, I thought it was just a hole in the wall bar for locals (and I am local). I could not have been more wrong! The food, drinks and service were all phenomenal! We went on a Saturday night and had to park across the street as it was packed. When we walked in we added ourselves to the list. There really wasn't a comfortable place to wait as every spot was taken. We were eventually told that it would be an hour wait for the 2 of us unless we could find a seat at the bar. We weren't willing to wait an hour but found a nice couple leaving their seats at the bar within 5 minutes. The bartender was fantastic!We ordered the wings (delicious!), mussels (loved them and the broth - cooked perfectly), the mushroom soup (tasted nice and fresh, was puree like), the steak burrito and tacos - all amazing. The beers you ask? I mean isn't that why we went in the first place? DELICIOUS! And cheap (are you hearing me Clemson Brothers?). I included a picture of the beer choices and prices. The place was comfortable and very rustic. There was a fireplace, regular chairs and a couch. Some long tables were being shared by different parties. Other people had their own 2-person tables. You get your own water from the coolers. We usually rack up$100+ for just the 2 of us but the prices were cheap and our bill was less than $70. It states they appreciate cash, and they have ATM right there, but I asked and they do take credit cards.The Police, "Tainted Love" and Erasure(!) were just some of the music mix we enjoyed there. We cannot wait to go back to try more of their food and beers!

This place is on Route 44/55 going over the mountain towards kerhonkson it's a small place there's tables outside you order outside and things are delivered to your table we didn't try any of the beer we just tried the food and it was okay very small portions on the sliders I had the arugula salad and carrot coconut soup which is served cold we also had beef sliders and lamb sliders and potato wedges and grilled corn on the cob

Great ambiance, good beer, nice waitstaff. The brussel sprouts were to die for, just needed a little salt. Shishito peppers weren’t charred enough for my preference, and the cheese sauce on the loaded fries was grainy and lacking flavor. Will try a smashburger next time!

No dogs allowed indoors, and outdoor patio not heated,but they will sell you a gigantic can of whatever beer is on tap and you can get on your way. We took two IPA’s to go, and they both were great

What a great experience we had at Rough Cut. We tasted and drank full pours of a few of their beers, which were all very good. Ended up taking home 3 crowlers and a bottle of their Russian stout. We had an arugula salad, Mac and cheese and the chimichurri quesadillas. Everything was delicious. We sat at the bar and the person serving us was super friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience. I recommend this place to everyone who likes good beer and good food

We always have a great time at Rough Cut. Jesse and Luther are always attentive and the bartender is very friendly! The food is delicious and the wide range of brews will satisfy anyone's pallet! We go here for dinner at least once a week and we love it! My dinner recommendations are the crabby patty (mildly spicy), steak burrito, ranchero wings (spicy), house salad with tofu, or the oscar burger. You won't be disappointed!

I placed a take-out order recently for my significant other and myself. They have many GF items on the menu. I ordered the wings, shrimp, and the special. After speaking to our server, I felt so comfortable that they take gluten free seriously and work to prevent cross-contamination. The food was great and my boyfriend was thrilled to have another place we could visit for good food.

Great outdoor day-drinking spot. Tasty beers (effulgence and a rough summer, cloudy but smooth IPAs) and a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
