If you need a breather, then get your second wind here.Owned by biker Shawn and his delightful Mother Rosie McNamara, this is one not to pass by.The decor is period (50s and earlier I’d guess) and the seats are so comfortable the temptation to take a nap is hard to resist.Coffee excellent as are the muffins.Welcome is more than warm.Not to miss, and with the future addition of a restaurant can only get better.

We have never been here before, the gentleman behind the counter was very welcoming as well as the cook. They are very humble. The atmosphere is relaxing, soft lighting and a cabin feel. There’s a lot of antiques. We ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant. It was delicious. The mocha cappuccino and caramel macchiato were one of the best we have ever had. I’d give them a thousand stars if I could. We will be coming here again. Thank you for a wonderful start to our day. The soft Christmas touches were very nice as well, with low Frank Sinatra in the background.

Awesome place with great coffee, as expected and an ambiance somewhere on a scale between a Grandma Moses country painting and a Brooklyn bric-a-brac. If you are looking for the spirit of rejuvenation in a community, this is it. They do everything right to create a communal place where everyone feels happy. One small point: a croissant should be flaky not soggy.

The coffee is great for starters, and the decor is to die for. The atmosphere is wonderful and inviting. It makes you want to stay and hang out all day. But best of all, the owner is genuinely a kind wonderful person that I am happy to give my time money and business to support. I cannot wait for the new location to open, I just hope its on a day where I don't have to work so I can be there to support him! If you can't tell, yes I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

Very courteous young lady. I got there just after the kitchen closed, and she still made me a bagel and coffee. The decor is early industrial. The toilet paper roll holder is very clever.

Such a cool atmosphere and very spacious inside. The coffee was delicious and I love the kombucha they offer! Staff was friendly and helpful and I loved the whole experience. Definitely a hot spot in Johnstown!

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time in January & very quickly discovered it to be our favorite coffee shop!! The drive for us is 50 minutes & we just made the drive again just to have another taste of the delicious coffee served to us by the friendliest staff! The cinnamon maple oat latte is the BEST!!

This review is to serve the purpose to inform the owners that when they drive aggressively on the interstate, putting my children at risk, tailgating my vehicle when there is no opportunity to move over, while also having their company displayed on their truck is really bad for business. I'll be sure to share the experience with everyone I know.Grow up. There's no reason to put people at risk, and if you're running late, be more responsible and leave early. 👌

Best part of this experience was the customers service - the baristas were kind and interactive with all their guest.This seems to be one of the shops that offers whole milk or all the other alternatives but of course charge $1 extra for them. On top of that they were out of the only good option from alternatives. I really wanted to get a latte from them rather than Starbucks so I sucked it up and got coconut milk. When asking how many shots going into a 16oz latte I am told one, which is the "Dunkin Standard". Most 16oz latte come with 2 shots to balance the drink out, so I order a extra shot, one more $1. Once this drink has been made I am at a $8 drink not including a tip.$8 for a drink I didn't like at all, and neither did anyone else who tried it. I can admit if it cost $4.50 for this drink I wouldn't bat an eye, since it was $8 instead I have a hard time being ok with going back to this shop again.I hope when I venture that direction again it'll be a much better experience.

What a great little coffee shop. You can see the passion for the business from the decor to the menu items. The atmosphere cultivated by the vintage decor and layout of the shop feels cozy but not cramped. It's a place you can really enjoy the time you spend there whether you are just wanting to chill and read a book or catch up with friends. Whoever recommended the London Fog, good on ya. I'll be back for sure.

Absolutely love Second Wind Coffee. The coffee, the food, the ambiance & decor in the shop, and the staff - everything is amazing. The coffee is delicious and strong, and they have oat milk which is a plus for me. The egg & cheese bagels are hot & tasty, the pastries are yummy (had the French toast muffin today and it was 🔥). The coffee shop itself is so cool. The decor is vintage and super tasteful, not cramped or stuffy. It’s really awesome to see a thriving business like this bring Main Street to life.Now onto my rant.. it’s wild to me that there are people on here giving this business 1 star reviews for the reasons they are stating.. I’m so thrilled to see a business like this in Johnstown with a young business owner. These are the kind of businesses this town needs. You guys are ruthless not thinking about how your poor reviews affect the business. Give small business owners grace, especially after Covid. If their hours are slightly off on Google or had to close temporarily to deal with something urgent, don’t give them a 1 star review. This place is incredible and puts most coffee shops in Los Angeles to shame.Can’t wait to come back!

This place is a great place to sit and have meal or get a pick me up. The nostalgia look is very amazing and inviting. The owner is amazing. The only reason service isn't 5 stars for me is because I felt welcomed but didn't feel if I needed something it was met with urgency. Other than that service is greatParking: Parking on Main Street can be spotty but normally you don't have to pay to park like the big city so around the corner isn't even a far walk.Kid-friendliness: It is kind friendly in the sense that kids are welcomed and not frowned upon as long as they are respectfulWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can come and go with ease and can enjoy a table with friends or family with ease

Went for the first time this morning!! Hands down one of the best lattes I’ve had in a while! The cinnamon maple oat latte was delicious!!! The menu was extensive and very difficult to only choose one!! Great atmosphere and will without a doubt be returning!!

I had a bourbon maple latte that was fabulous here yesterday. Every coffee so far has been exquisitely made. The owner has a cool motorcycle vibe going with decor. Everyone, try this place for coffee! Their baked goods are also great. I had a lemon muffin that was delicious yesterday! Too bad it’s takeout only due to the pandemic, but well worth stopping by.
