We’ve done business with Warehouse Carpet for nearly 25 years and there was never any issues with the sale or installation until this last time. This will be however the last time we choose them to purchase anything from.From the beginning the sales woman we dealt with did a poor job of the prices of the carpeting. They had a person come and do measurements and I specifically asked what the square footage was, but when the estimate was done it increase by 70 square feet and the price increase from what was a reasonable cost to double what was marked on the floor display for the carpet itself. We were told that the square footage was probably misquote by their person who came to our home and the cost quoted per square foot increased by nearly double the price on what we saw at the store. Nearly $2000 more. The explanation given was due to the pile height for the sample vs the display we were looking at when we were in the store. Another sales associate other then the one we dealt with originally refigured the cost for us to what was acceptable by changing the type of pile.We finally got the contract completed and returned to the salesperson however the associate did not get the installation set up. We had not heard anything for several days so I called and spoke to the installment department to get it on the calendar. At that time I was told we would be the second stop and the installers would be here between 11-1 however a day before the installation it change to 12-2 and was sent via texting instead of calling. Well the day of installation we waited until 2:30 before I called to find out what was going on since their installers had not shown up nor called. I was called back by the manager of the installations who called his people to check on what the problem was and where they were at. He conveyed that they were on their way and should arrive within 10-15 minutes.When they did finally arrive they came in and told my husband they needed to return to their vehicle and eat their lunch which they promptly did. They finally got started and worked quickly and diligently or so we thought. They did not have the proper equipment to remove the transitions plates up from my kitchen to the living room. Thank goodness my husband was here to get the proper tools to do the removal and replacement or else I’m not sure what they would have done. They completed the work and cleaned up and left. However after they left we were looking the installation over and found scratches on the hallway walls in several different spots which they didn’t say anything about. I called the next day to report what had happened to the manager of the business and although he apologized and understood our dissatisfaction said he would look into it and let me know. He offered to have someone come to fix what needed fixing but honestly I am just done with it and declined having anyone else from Warehouse Carpet come back here. That was over a week ago and I have yet to hear from him. This has not been a good experience and we will not be using them anymore for any project we have with flooring. It’s sad to see that the standards Warehouse Carpet & Flooring once set for themselves no longer exists.As a side not the floor plate to bother the kitchen and bathroom were not installed correctly and had to be redone by my husband.SO FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED!Update: I have been contacted in regards to the issues from the manager and owner both and appreciate their attention to this matter.

We purchased carpet twice from Warehouse Carpet in the last few months, with two separate installations. Each time, we dealt with Yihua, who was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Yihua was able to assist in selecting carpet by pulling samples based on our desired description and providing information on each sample. When we received a second estimate from Lowe’s, Warehouse Carpet was able to work with us, and we attribute our purchase from Warehouse Carpet to the very friendly help of Yihua. Each installation was smooth, and we are happy with our new bedroom and nursery carpet!

I worked with Sissy-Marie and the experience was fantastic as she was very helpful and experienced.Delivery was on time and very fast. The installer removed the old carpet and installed the new in a very reasonable time and was clean and neat about it. He did have to remove and replace one triple dresser which he did without issue.In short I am very satisfied with my purchase and interactions with Warehouse Carpet Outlets.

It had been awhile since we had bought carpet, so I didn't know all the latest updates product wise. Yihua took us through the latest improvements, listened to what we were looking for in terms of thickness, durability, color, etc. After taking some samples home, when we went back the next week, Yihua had found the several options that might fit our needs and answered questions two weeks later about stain removal. Installation was quick. Will buy all our carpet from Warehouse Carpet.

Let me start by saying we wanted wool carpet for our stairs and I believe they tried their best to make that happen in a market where that is very rare. We ended up with Karastan St. John's Isle in Marina and it is beautiful. The manager Jason made sure we ended up with the carpet that met all our needs. Our sales rep did what she could with the knowledge she had about wool carpets to make our experience a positive one. Our carpet installer, helped us but then installed a slightly crooked carpet on our landing. So all in all I hope to not buy carpet for a long time though I know I will have to sooner than I'd like and I will probably come back to warehouse carpet. In the meantime the carpet seems to suit our children and dog quite well.

Warehouse Carpet Johnson City is the place for quality products, good prices and knowledgeable, friendly sales people. Sue Rockwell was so knowledgeable and helpful in helping me pick out kitchen flooring. Answered all my questions, had great tips and helped confirm I was on the track I wanted to be. Zach was great with installation scheduling (faster than I anticipated) and Bob the installer was amazing - friendly, on time, answered any questions I had about installation and cleaned up when he was finished. Week before September 19th I made a visit to pick out new flooring for kitchen, I knew what I wanted and just needed to go look at choices available. When I entered the building, Sissy greeted us to assist us. Fast forward to 19th Installer showed up 9 am as schedule came in and introduced himself as Chevy, looked around. We discussed about new subfloor, he agreed. We called the store and spoke with Colin. Colin and I spoke afterwards and had said after my apt I had on that day I would stop over to make payment for the subfloor as it wasnt included in price. Chevy and I discussed what he was going to do how he was gping to rip everything up including the old vinyl flooring and put fresh down. I said thank you and left for a morning appt that would only cause me to be gone 45 mins. Once I arrived back home, I noticed that he just laid the subfloor right over the old flooring and began sealing it to the old floor. The installer said oh this is how we do it usually, and I said but I paid for the old to be ripped up. I had some other important calls come through so i could nt be as attentive as possibly. Chevy left after about 3 hrs of being there and said he would be back next day by 9 am. The next day he texted me about 845 and said he was on his way. Once he arrived, he began laying the new vinyl. He overall did a good job but however the one bedroom door does not close, he told me "ah just shave your door 1/4 in and should close." Few days later when I returned to house(dony currently reside in the home yet) how much of a step up him(Chevy) caused coming into the house where the hard tile in in hallway meets thr vinyl. This is a huge concern for my household since I have an elder gentlemen that has dementia lives with me. Also its about 5/8 of height difference where the kitchen floor meets the other end of hallway floor.I have called several times, made complaints of the gentleman falling since he tends to scuff his feetWell after the first complaint Sissy called me back and said well I will refund the money you paid to have the hard surface ripped up. I said ok but that doesnt fix the problem. Jason had Chevy come look at it again, as Chevy said what he could do, he also mentioned that door needs to be cut more. (These doors are solid wood from 1955)Chevy overall did a great job laying the new floor down just didn't follow instructions on prep work.Chevy said he could cut it back and find some wood to match the wood in hallway to lesson the step up. We agreed on day and time for him to return even though I wasnt thrilled with his plan, because i had put new appliances on hold to be delivered until the floor was fixed.Few days later I called again and asked to speak with Zach Tokos, manager, he pawned the call off on to Jason again who sent over Dylan to see what he could do. Again same plan, he cant fix it but could lesson it. We explained to Dylan either they rip up and do it right or nothing, he returned to office to relay message and to this moment October 15th, I have not received a call regarding this issue.If the elderly gentleman falls we will seek lawyers.Only reason one star is to make this post known, they deserve zero stars

My salesperson Dave was very helpful and accommodated my needs. He wasn’t a pushy salesperson and made me feel like I could make decisions based on my needs, not his commission. He provided a wealth of knowledge, pointed me in the right direction, walked me through the pricing and gave great customer service.Zack from the installation department was so nice every time he called and communicated well.The installers were efficient and did a great job, with no “normal” wall damage or anything from laying the carpet.Would be happy to recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered carpet for my lower level area and stairs. My salesperson, Dave M, was awesome. Super knowledgeable and asked the right questions to get the exact carpet I needed. Delivery was right on time. My favorite part about this transaction was the installation. Ray, the installer arrived on time, and was so professional and personable. He completed his work in a timely manner, vacuumed the floor so that we had the straight lines, and cleaned up so that everything looked new. I also loved that he played country music while he was working and I got to be serenaded while I worked above him. Would definitely recommend these guys to friends/family and would encourage them to request Ray for installation!

Gary is a very good-natured and highly experienced installer. He did a great job installing our new Mohawk carpet! He and his assistant were fast and capable workers. Our bedroom/walk-in closet setup is tricky for carpeting, but Gary made sure seems were minimized and placed in the best possible way for traffic and low visibility. We love our new carpet!
