Walmart is a budgeter's staple. The Johnson City location is a great option for just about anything you need. I pretty much always purchase the great value brand and it never disappoints, they're just as good as brand names.I'm typically quite busy so this last trip I used the pick-up option. It's honestly so much better than in person, I was able to take time, compare prices to other stores like Aldi, and see all the options available quickly. I actually set up my order two days earlier when I had some time, and up until they start shopping the order you can adjust items, so I was actually able to change a few things that I realized I needed between ordering and pickup. The employees had my groceries out to me quickly after arrival, they were very courteous, and transferred the items to my bags with care.TL:DR I'd be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't been to a Walmart, BUT many may have not used the pick-up service. I highly recommend it!

It's a typical store... Except it REEKS like a skunk walked in there, sprayed, and then died. I always leave feeling sick due to the smell. It's not safe at all for people with weaker lungs because, for some reason, people are allowed to smoke at the entrances (really no different than anywhere else) and are allowed to walk in reeking of drugs. And this has been a problem every time I go there. Honestly, I'm so sick of people's bad habits endangering other people's health and stinking up public property.

Overall not to bad. It’s close to the highway. Some items are a little more expensive than the larger store in Vestal a few miles away.

I tried to get some items from locked shelves in pharmacy area today. There’s a button to call an associate for help. I called three times and waited for 6-7 minutes but nobody showed up. Just to be fair before leaving the store I went there for the second time and rang the bell 2-3 times. No help arrived. Meanwhile, I saw Walmart employees walking around or hiding between the rows to play with their phones. Why put anything on display and lock it if you don’t want to sell it? I ended up getting what I needed elsewhere.

Who cannot love Walmart? I mean the staff is great, was able to get in an out quickly with no issues. The best part is I just found out they have a guest Wifi!!! Ok now who cannot love that? Plus they let me a traveler stay in my rig for the night. Now how cool is that. So I said Thank you out there and 'Go Walmart!!!'

The policy states NO PETS service dogs welcome but they allow aggressive dogs in the store and in the carts. They do not properly train staff about service dogs and the ADA so the staff don't care or stop people bringing in pets.

The super center was super.Super convenient,super selection, super prices,super location,super employees,and super busy.Super wasn't so super when everyone had the same super idea of wanting to check out at the same super time.Super typical shopping experience when I was in such a super rush.Super irrated and super annoyed,I became as I watched 4 or 5 of the supercenter super staff super oblivious to the super herd of super customers all standing in super long lines.It would have been super of them to open up another register.Super superb job otherwise they were all doing as I watch them with super high blood pressure.Just doing what their super supervisor told them to do.I suppose I should have supper expected this.And so i was super late for supper to no one's fault but my own.

Good place to one stop shop ,almost everything you could need in one place down fall is open registers lots of them but usually only 4 out of 12 open and self check outs usually packed due to this issue

I have never been treated so poorly as a customer in my whole life, as I have in this Walmart yesterday. The cashier made several comments under his breath about what I was purchasing. Very upsetting

If I come to this Walmart and the employee Johnny is working in the deli, I always know I will have a pleasant experience. He is personable, kind, and most importantly fast and efficient. He gets my meats cut in the matter of minutes what someone else would take 10 minutes doing. He’s always kind, always smiling, and whenever I look over even if I’m not shopping in the Deli he’s always being productive and from what I have seen, has a wonderful work ethic. Please praise this man and keep him around. He’s one of the good ones!

I went to the check-out carrying cat food and litter (very heavy) without a cart (I forgot how heavy they are), and the gentleman working self-checkout helped me get everything to a machine AND brought me a cart to get to my car. Wonderful service 👏

Pharmacy is fantastic! as for the rest of the store, you will have to come over and watch. It’s great for entertainment. A lot of interesting people here. Lol.

I love going to this Walmart, its convenient, right off the highway and it's employees are always very helpful and quick to respond when in need of assistance. Everyone if very knowledgeable of where certain items are located, down to specifics such as, aisle and which side it's located on.It's not a hard store to navigate and even with it's size comparison to the Walmart in Vestal NY, it still has a huge selection with everything in its rightful place. Two self check-out areas one on each side of the store for a quick shopping trip, mind you they still have some normal checkouts available for those with a huge order, or those people whom just like what they're used to.I recommend this store to anyone for all your daily living essentials and some non essentials to.

I love Walmart it’s my go to store!!!! Everything you need is right here!!!! One stop shop. Customer service could be better and the workers could be more friendly but other than that I love this Walmart!!!! I shop here at least 2-3 times a week and 1-3 hours every time. I love Walmart and would recommend to anyone.

This Wal-Mart Suoercenter is very clean with kind and capable staff members. It has a great selection of products with fair pricing and constant deals for numerous products. This Wal-Mart can draw manageable sized crowds.

They had what we were looking for - a local craft beer pickup before going to our hotel room!Huge, but only has a single entrance on the south side, and no bathrooms in the front of the store, which I've never seen before.Got to the registers out front with the beer, then realized I needed to use the "facilities", and then had to walk all the way to the back.We'd just driven from NH(6 hours!), so the extra walking was probably good to limber up the legs!

Someone who delivered my groceries had COVID 19 and I couldn’t even get a refund for it since Ms Shakira from Walmart customer service or whatever her name was told me it’s not our problem if our driver had covid or not and that’s where you buy groceries from be careful yall it’s still out there..!

I stood in line at electronics while another customer with food and clothing items was helped for 10 minutes straight. By the time the slow employee finished checking out he left me at the register unhelped and it was after 830 : I was told the store was closed and could not be helped which is insane I could drive 30 minutes and get to the store with plenty of time to spare and be denied because employees are lazy. The 3 stars is for the dept manager (not the customer service rep that tried to refuse my business coldly, telling me all keys were turned in and could not be retrieved to get me the item I wanted), who - with his key - got me the item I wanted and checked me out. This store gets worse and worse every day with coldly denying customers. Iys hard for me to ever get to walmart in time to shop for 15 minutes to begin with because of the odd 830 closing time (like would 9 be so horrible for a normally 24/7 store!?) Theyll be barring entrance to ppl showing up at 8 before we know it...like the dunkin donuts in sidney that shuts down their ovens at 7:30 because they want to leave by 11, instead of close at 11. Horrible!!!

I don’t understand why Walmart opens so many pick up slots if they can’t manage that many. Waited 15 minutes just to find a parking spot then an additional nearly 30 minutes for them to bring my groceries out. If I was going to be here for 45 mins I would shop them myself.

Walmart always have everything I need and then some. There's alot to buy, everything u can imagine and at a cheaper price. It's nice that the big company's like Walmart can buy in such bulk that they get it cheaper, then pass the savings on to us.

It's Walmart. They're all the same. Some good food buys, clothes, too. Clumsy navigation bus to it's size, but that's the cost of a large selection.

Call me crazy, but I swear going to my local Walmart sometimes makes me think I'm at the DMV. Don't get me wrong not all the staff but a good portion of them act as if they hate their job and act completely bothered to have to out of their way to help customers. Heaven forbid you have to go to the customer service desk for a refund or exchange. I don't know I've been in customer service management for most my life and it seems like the days of getting great customer service has all but vanished.
