Great local ice cream spot. We went when it was busy at night but the girl at the window was very friendly and helpful when I was choosing from their truly massive menu. I got the homemade chocolate covered strawberry and it was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had with good service. Tons of unique flavors to choose from and I’ll definitely come back again to try more!

Good icecream, great selections but please do better on food safety.No gloves on any employee handling our cones or bowls. The employee cutting our bananas did not have gloves on and was handling the sliced fruit a lot. Additionally the employee handling cash transactions was going back and forth from the register to preparing food. No gloves. No hand washing.

I got a shake and it was great. I don’t like that it’s cash only (anything that’s cash only always makes me assume they are evading tax’s but you know what they say about assuming) however the inconvenience of walking all the way there and not having cash is a bit unfortunate. The line was long which is usually a sign of good ice cream but not much shade is provided while waiting and I wasn’t really worried about shade for me but more so for my pup. But he would give the place 5 paws.

Looking for a sweet treat , sugar lips has almost any flavor and style to suit your needs . There flavors are over the top delicious. Try a watermelon old fashion Italian ice that taste fresh cut from the garden or a smooth creamy gelato , also let’s not forget the milkshake made with heart .

Local ice cream shop. Flavors and textures are just ok, generally too sweet for my taste. Best part is the soft serve topping of a hard scoop. Decorated brightly and has good energy.

Great place. They make thier own ice cream and also serve Perry's. The selection of styles and flavors is enormous! Only accepts cash so be ready, ATM next door if needed but costs $ to use. Best to come prepared with cash.

Just went there and was so excited to see they had a Bow Wow cup for dogs. My milkshake was delicious and my pup loved his sundae! We will definitely be returning!

BIG PROBLEM, BUG PROBLEM... PLEASE ADDRESS IT...It's a nice small town, cash-only ice cream place with some good flavors. The only reason behind the three stars is the presence of bugs. There are literally thousands of bugs (mostly spiders) all around the shop. They should do something about it.

Stopped by few times over the years after dinner and enjoyed. But ordered a small vanilla in a cup and regular milkshake, came to $14. When I asked why she said the milkshake was $9. I know prices are going up everywhere but that's way too high.

Although they only take cash (ATM in the red building next to them) their selection of amazing tasty cold treats was astonishing. Their prices were affordable (~5$ for medium).

The girls that work there are RUDE for no reason. They act like your inconveniencing them when you come to get ice cream. If you don’t want to work then don’t. But please have some kind of decency and customer service skills. It really gives a great place a bad look.

Great ice but a little over the top pertaining to price. Got a regular sized milk shake and a small vanilla soft serve cone and the total came to 12 and change. I'm not normally the type to nitpick dollars and cents but l that would've been 7-8 dollars anywhere else.

I was sampling some of the local cuisine (ice cream) for my upcoming show, Sampling the States [U.S.], set to air in Spring 2023 in the U.S. and Summer 2023 elsewhere.One thing to note: this establishment only accepts cash. As a British person I only carry British (worthless) currency. Fortunately, there is an automatic teller machine in the building next door.Once I had real money, I returned to the establishment looking forward to eat fresh wholesome American offerings. Imagine my shock when the clerk informed me, upon my questioning, that most of the food on their menu is frozen! I didn't know at the time that this was an ice-cream restaurant, so I won't hold that against them.I ordered a scoop of chocolate ice-cream. I went here with some friends, and despite the place being packed, the line moved really quickly and it only took about 15 minutes from when we got there to get our ice cream. The staff was very friendly, and the ice cream was delicious. I'll definitely be going back frequently, and I think you should too!

Sugar Lips has the best ice cream in the 607! This past summer, I visited the shop at least twice a week, and still have nothing bad to say. The owner is very personable, has my order memorized and manages the place in a way that gets people in and out in a timely fashion. In addition, Sugar Lips is always changing up their menu, adding new homemade flavors and creating new sundaes. Makes things very interesting, but hard to choose from because everything looks amazing! Living right near Sugar Lips, I am glad that this is the ice cream place the closest to me, but would still travel for the ice cream if farther away. I’m pregnant and had a craving for the rose pistachio ice cream (it’s sooooo good). I even called ahead to make sure they had it before driving from Endwell. When we got there the line was wrapped around the building- a testament to how great this place is! When we got to the window and ordered the owner teased me that they had run out of my favorite flavor. He got me good! And then he kindly treated my family to our ice creams. They are so nice, and the homemade ice cream is the BEST! 10/10! Thank you again!

The CUSTARD. The CUSTARD!! Every time I go, I cannot WAIT to get a vanilla custard cone/sundae. This place has the BEST ice cream! The staff are always super friendly and the line moves quickly. Don't be deterred by a long line! It happens here regularly lol. But the line moves quickly and the ice cream is WELL worth the very small wait. And don't forget to ask for the signature "Sugar Lips 👄" candies on your ice cream! So cute and just the right touch.
