I've always liked Party City even through they are overpriced for what they sell. As an example, I was looking for some Star Wars themed stuff and saw a few things that I had already purchased from Amazon at almost half the price. However, I still like looking and its great if you need something right away. Today, I did have my dog with me (Petco is right next door) as I didn't want to leave him in the car in 20° weather. I looked on the door before going in, no "no pet" signs or "service animals only", etc. were noted. He and I looked around the store, I had a few items, but probably a $40 sale with their prices, and I was just concluding my shopping when an associate came up to me and told me that I couldn't have my dog in there. She was nice about it though, I can't say anything about that. I handed her my stuff (she seemed surprised) and left. My dog is well behaved (he's an older Australian Shepherd) was on a leash and doesn't leave my side. He also is smart enough to not pee in stores. I get that may not apply to all dogs, but they should have a sign posted especially since they are right next to Petco. Some people reading this may say well, dogs aren't welcome in many stores but he had I were in TJ Maxx, Sally Beauty and AC Moore this morning without issue and he was pet by several associates in each of those other stores. Mind you, I did check each before entering with him and like Party City, there wasn't anything present indicating "no pets."So, they lost probably 40 bucks and I just went to Dollar Tree (with my dog) and saved $30.Party City (especially those next to pet friendly places)-put up a sign! I hate wasting 25 minutes for nothing.

I came in a couple days ago to get some balloons for my baby shower, but ended up forgetting a couple things because the lady that was helping me, lauren, was being extremely rude to me and wasn’t helping me at all, so I came back yesterday to get the rest of my things and overheard her talking and treating her employees badly, assuming nobody was there. I saw her be rude to one of the cashiers that was working at the time, not sure what their name was, felt so bad for him and how he was treated by her, but after reading these reviews I see how awfully she treats her customers and employees on a daily bases. Do not shop here and support lauren. (It was a girl💖)

Very disappointed, my crew and I were celebrating Tommy's wedding when someone suggested Party city, the minute we entered I knew it was a mistake, no booze, no food, no strippers I mean that's false advertising. Otherwise they have everything you need to plan the perfect party or holiday celebration. ps. BYOS, bring your own strippers

Asked if they had hocus pocus balloons the cashier asked I am assuming the manager, who was not very nice to the cashier, stating to her we only do generic Halloween balloons you should know that. The tone of her voice was a bit much. No need to embarrass fellow team members.. Just saying....

Unfortunately their on line ordering system was down and the young person who answered the phone stated they could not take orders over the phone. I asked to talk with the manager to see if possibly she or he could take the order. She person stated, even the manager could not take orders over the phone. I use a walker so I could not go to the store without much effort. So, it is sad to say, the company missed out of a $100.00+ order.

Great place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I go there every time I'm having any kind of party. They always have every thing I need and some things I didnt know I needed. Definitely worth checking out.

Great selection and the staff are wonderful and fast! Some of the costumes seem a bit pricey for the quality. Let's face it though, seeing the kids have such a wonderful time makes it priceless!!

overpriced on most of the items in store. Does offer military discount, and I believe student discount, which is a plus, but still overpriced for the minimal supplies I purchased... would rather get specialty items there and generic party supplies at Walmart. Friendly and people. Overall not a bad place to get specialty items, such as specific balloons, banners, etc. But save your money and go to Walmart or target for the rest of your supplies.

They were out of gold medals just before the opening Olympics because someone had called and ordered them "over a week ago"... but usually they have plenty of stock and good pretty cheap things to liven up your party or costume.

It all depends on what staff us working, whether the experience is pleasant or not. Some staff is very helpful in finding what I need. Other staff members, you can tell, are only there for a paycheck.

Literally probably everything that you could possibly want for a huge party you can get here as far as party supplies are concerned. If you want huge party balloons helium number balloons if you want party toys if you want to have the party photo booth. Not just for adults but for kids as well they had Transformers minions Spider-Man The Avengers and then a bunch of good stuff for the adults as well.

Went for a Halo costume that we couldn't find anywhere else. The price wasn't bad ($44.99 + tax) but the gun that was an accessory that matched it was rediculous! Was $19.99 and didn't even do anything! For that price I kinda expected it to light up, shoot fireworks, something! Lol. Nope. Nothin.

I like the stuff and pricing in the store but they didnt know how to do their sales correctly. It was a simple 12 for $10 but thry couldnt count so we gave up bc it was onky a little money and wasnt a big deal
