CC and Theresa showed me what customer service is really all about. Can’t say enough kind things about them. They helped me with my return of shampoo hassle free and. with sheer kindness. CC took the time out of her busy shift to answer my questions and teach me some new stuff about what things OSJL has to offer online and insider deals!! Way to go CC and Theresa!!! I did not have the opportunity to walk the whole store, what I did see was clean & well organized. They have a good selection of snow shovels which is what I went to buy. Employees were friendly & they are hiring if you are looking for employment.

Much bigger than I expected and everything we purchased was very good. Food clothes etc.we went back expecting a different selection of merchandise the turn over rate was amazing. If you see something you like or want you better buy it. Fabulous place.

Great place to buy anything seasonal! Just picked up a space heater for my spare bedroom that is always drafty. Was super cheap and works pretty great on low give it a few minutes and it starts heating the room nicely. After half an hour the room was very warm.

The staff on the floor should spend more time pricing product. Couldn't find prices on product, on the box, or on shelf. If I can't find a price I don't buy it. That is a common rip-off tactic disreputable businesses use. Very disappointed having visited other stores throughout the northeast. Will not be back.

MY DUDE, AM I HAPPY!! I checked out Lowe's and Home Depot first, but I'm glad I didn't buy anything from either of them. I was looking for hanging baskets and a large window basket for my spring flowers. The prices here can't be beat! I got two 14" round hanging baskets and one long window basket for under $30! The only thing that made my total higher was also finding a fantastic anti-fatigue kitchen mat for only $15. Seriously, that mat alone would have easily cost me the grand total of all my items from this purchase anywhere else. And the baskets anywhere else are double the price.And the herb seeds I got there a couple months ago have been successful too. I just wish I would have known they would have peony starters, clematis starters, and great value-priced tubers/bulbs before I bought seeds to try to grow them myself. Oh well. That just means I'll buy them here next year. Oh yeah, and their patio furniture is looking to be great quality too, other than the anti-gravity style chairs. Definitely gotta keep Ocean State Job Lot in mind. Highly recommend.

Floor associate kind enough to walk me to area of item i was searching for. A couple of the front end cashiers seemed to have poor attitudes and lack of eye contact for most associates in the store. Good deals at the store.

The store is always clean and well organized, and the staff was super friendly as always. This trip was early Christmas shopping for our adult kids and grandchildren out of state. Great price on high thread count percale sheet sets. My daughter in law asks for a new set every other year. Great price on slippers, ladies textured, fleece lined leggings. We are also updating our storage areas in our home and needed a firewood rack and log cart. Super great sale price this week. I love that they have all kinds of flavors of Danish jams, jellies, and preserved. The Danes use only fruit juice to sweeten, and artificial dyes are banned in most European countries. So we stock up every year on dark cherry, peach, raspberry, bosenberry, and black current. YUM! We get our name brand slippers every fall before winter at OSJL, then are always around $10, and they have Dockers, Mukluks, Dearform, etc. The line was long at first to check out, but Jason, up front, jumped right up, opened, and checked us out fast and friendly. Thank you, Ocean State Job Lot, for sending aid to Florida during the flooding rain, and thank you for supporting the injured, sick, and needy in the Israeli and Gaza country.

We like to shop here pretty often. We go in looking for a couple things and leave with a cart full. Prices are exceptionally low and quality appears to be decent on most items. Location is convenient and it's never too busy. If your looking for something, they probably have it.

I would like to start with a positive, pharmacy has the most considerate employees always helpful and efficient. A few clerks again wonderful people. The rest mainly management are simply horrible people, lie, question you like your a thief.for 3 months i have had a credit over 100.00$ dollars.they can’t figure out why it can’t be used. Different managers try the same thing over and over surprised it doesn’t work. They tell me it’s still there. They will figure it out and call me or use it next visit. Today I went to return a pair of pants for my husband, not sure if bought them online or in store, no problem it will be in your membership history! They can’t find it. Then the extremely rude clerk says “ your husband probably bought them and didn’t want to tell you. Final straw, not that this person knows me or my husband. I’m from a age where my husband hasn’t ever bought his own clothes and certainly wouldn’t sneak around and lie about a 13$ pants! By now your all thinking( Karen)! If this clerk was the one owed 100$ bucks she would be melting down. If you do decide to join the prescription plan is a great savings, shop on line and make sure you really want it. Staff in vestal are horrible people.

Ocean State Job Lots is new to our area. It is in the old Toys r Us building. They have a very diverse offering of inventory... everything from food to household products to seasonal to shoes and clothes. They have a large selection of gluten free mixes and the have Tate cookies(they are out of this world good)!! Prices are very reasonable and they carry holiday jammies and thick winter socks. We were there almost an hour and I still did not see the whole store. The cashier's are very friendly and extremely fast. They have their own loyalty program. Right now if you buy a coat for $40 and give it back to them they give it to a Veteran that needs it. In return you receive a $40 gift card to use in the future. If you haven't been there yet give it a try...you will enjoy it!!!

Today I was at OC snd was looking for blinds I found on line but couldn’t find them in the store. I asked Din for helped and when he couldn’t find them he got Walter his looked all through store snd found the blinds. These guys were a great help and are the reason I like to shop at OC Job Lots at Johnson city NY !!!!

The store offers much more than I ever took the time to see. Spend an hour on a cold or rainy day look at the selection of merchandise.I bought a 35 to 65 inch TV wall mount bracket for under $25. It swivels multiple directions. Check it out.
