Terrible customer service.Over the last year I've purchased dozens of items which were spoiled. Today was the last straw for me when I saw 2 and a half wheels of cheese which were dated March 6, 2024, and today's date is March 15, 2024. These were not single serve mini wheels of cheese, but rather large ones which are approximately 18 inches in diameter. Had I not brought this to the stores' attention I'm certain these wheels would have been cut up and put out on the shelf. Each wheel of cheese I'd imagine is around 20 or so servings, so 40+ people potentially could've gotten very ill. This matter shouldn't be taken lightly. This also confirms my hypothesis which is spoiled cheese and other goods are regularly put out for sale at this store. Management doesn't want to throw them away I suspect because it hurts their bottom line, and this puts customers health at risk.I brought this to the attention of the Customer Service Manager, John. He had the cheese pulled from the shelf, but it doesn't change the fact that this has happened dozens of times over the last year. Many of these times I became very ill, and suffered stomach issues which lasted for weeks. His response was "if something is spoiled you can bring it back for a full refund". My response is that a refund for a spoiled item doesn't undo the fact that I was ill due to the store's negligence. A refund for the spoiled item isn't adequate compensation given the situation. I wrote this on a comment card approximately a month and a half or 2 months ago, I listed my email and phone number on the card and requested that someone contact me, but no one did. Around this same time I called corporate and gave them my contact information, and once again I was never contacted. Today I brought this to John's attention as well, and he expressed little remorse, and begrudgingly offered a $10 gift card. A gesture which in my opinion is a total slap in face. $10 doesn't even buy you a piece of the spoiled cheese that was out on shelf. This is the "apology" for a customer who spends approximately $200 per week. I asked to speak with his manager, Sam, who was perhaps even more unsympathetic about the situation.Terrible management and customer service from Sam and John.I've included 2 pictures of the spoiled cheese for reference, and will be notifying the department of health shortly. I've also posted this to X (formerly Twitter) and @ Whole Foods, and I told Sam and John I'd be doing so. Hopefully I get a better response on someone on there.

Nandy & Nadine provide the best customer service! They are most efficient, amazing at multitasking, make excellent recommendations and are always warm & friendly to my daughter with special needs and myself! Love their large selection of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. Employees in cafe, produce, grocery and hot food area are most knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter frequently requests the berry blast smoothie, mac & cheese and cupcake. Self check out saves a lot of time. Whole Foods Jericho has a wide selection of healthy foods to accommodate everyone with or without dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!!!

Butcher Shop is terrible. The guy behind the counter didn't respond to me as I repeatedly tried to get his attention. He later claimed he had poor hearing but I didn't believe him. He was just nasty - but not as nasty as the Prime steak I purchased for $35. It had a chunk of fat running through the middle that made much of the steak inedible. Never buy meat here.

I don't visit Whole foods very often, but I stopped by to check on salt-free tortilla chips and found those and a whole lot more. The antipasto bar has the most insane garlic, the aroma and flavor are legendary so please try them if you're a fan of roasted garlic. Tons of sweets, lots of ethically made skin care and health-targeted products. Looking forward to the new one coming to Huntington on 110 in the future.

We bought "organic, grass fed" beef there this week. Although the color was a deeper red, it smelled and tasted no different than conventional beef. We were very disappointed. We've had grass fed beef from the Laura's brand that we've bought elsewhere. "Laura's" grass fed beef smells superior, a very different product. Laura's tastes like the grass fed beef we've had overseas, both in Europe and South America. Whole Foods' product is clearly inferior to all other grass beef we've had, but we paid a high price per pound so we feel like we got ripped off. To be fair, this store is attractive and clean, and we appreciated the attentive and friendly service.

Not the biggest or newest of the Whole Foods, so the aisles may be tight. But, they are well stocked and associates friendly and helpful. They are pretty good about screening and removing older or damaged produce.

Very nice place to get all your groceries and vegetables at one place. They keep one of the best meats in Hicksville.Best part is that they host few delicacies which you can take and eat out at their sitting area. The food is very tasty that they serve.There are various counters and also sells few products in mass like coffee, nuts, dry fruits etc.

What I didn't like about Whole Foods was when I went away. My salad from the salad bar. I waited at 1 register and it didn't take cash. So I went to another register where it did. Take cash and they did weigh it and the different between the weights was over. A dollar.

Obviously an older store but the layout is awful. They have the largest selection of Organic and Natural foods of any grocery store.Their prices are high.Great salad bar and prepared foods sections.

The worst coffee in the world. I’ve tried it several times. It’s never hot. taste like it’s been sitting around for days. The rest of the store is fine though.

Their Clam Chowder soup was delicious!! And I found Pastrami at only $14.99 a pound other stores was like $18.99 a pound!! A big difference!! Overall I'm impressed with Whole Foods!!

I have Paper Printed gift card . I requested the customer service desk at Jericho tpk store to replace it with a STORE CARD with the same dollar amount, which would be easier to carry and use. But they refused without giving any logical reasoning for the refusal . Not at all customer friendly approach by any standard.

*Thanksgiving Holiday Meal Order Experience* Designated Holiday desk for Thanksgiving Order and pickups made the shopping easier! Curbside pick up was available but over the phone for Holiday orders. When I get to the store, curbside waiting cars were numerous so I walked in and walked to Holiday Desk. 7-8 min wait to speak to an associate, 10 min wait to pick up the order. Associate went over each order to make sure nothing was missing before I went. It was seamless and pleasant!

We are from out of town and Googled grocery stores near me because we needed a bottle of wine to take to a friend's house and Whole Foods came up. We have a Whole Foods by us and being familiar with the store, drove to this one. We asked one of the the associates where the wine was located, he said by the beer. I found the beer but could not located the wine. I asked another associate where it was located and was told the store does not carry wine. This associate was kind enough to give me directions to a liquor store in the same area. If you are looking for wine, this store does not carry any. Thank you to the associate who gave me the directions.

This is a fabulous Whole Foods. It is a million times better than the one near Roosevelt Field. They have a nice salad bar and they have some good items in the prepared food section like broiled fish etc. I think the employees are 1000 times nicer here than the one that's near Roosevelt Field. I think this is perhaps the best Whole Foods in the state of New York. They have some great employees like Nick, Alex, John, Sandy, Nadine, Donna and CJ. Unfortunately, I am leaving a few people out because I can’t remember their names. The general manager does a fabulous job. He is a very hard worker, and he has a tremendous rapport with his employees. I am leaving soon for Maine and I am going to miss this store and the employees who give me such great customer service. Would really love it if they could bring back the Gigante beans and the beets in the salad bar. Nick, who works in the prepared. Food sections is my all-time favorite Whole Foods employee. He may be the nicest person in the state of New York. Not only is he a very nice person but he is also a tremendous asset to this store. He provides amazing customer service. Just talking with him for a couple of minutes always brightens my day

Beautiful produce including some difficult to find items. I needed unflavored vegetable protein powder and of course they had it! I also needed gluten free oyster sauce for a dish I wanted to make and I found that, plus gluten free teriyaki sauce for when I am in a hurry and don't feel like making it. Plus, I was able to pay this time using the in-store code on my Amazon account!

I am so over Whole Foods, especially this location. Food is often moldy or has gone bad within a day. Employees hover directly over you at self-checkout as if you're about to steal. I used to be willing to pay more for high-quality food and a calm atmosphere. Not the same since Amazon took it over. Whenever I can I now shop at Rising Tide Natural Market in Glen Cove, lots of sales on organic food and kind employees.

Went to drop off my Amazon returns. For groceries they had exactly what I needed. Disappointed that the peaches I bought started turning brownat room temperature a day after purchase. Bummer.
