I shop here only due to the cost of fuel. Tops is close and they are a grocery store.It is my personal feelings that are the prices are higher than other markets that carry the same items. They hid the prices through BOGO deals.The Associates are very friendly and are knowledgeable of the products that are sold there.

This is the weirdest Tops I have ever been in, it's really long and narrow so the aisles are stunted and there are a ton of them. For me this entire store was set up backwards, but if this were my regular Tops I'd get used to it. Much smaller than my regular store as well, so to me they were missing a lot of the things I take for granted. Super tiny parking lot which again is really long and narrow, I don't think I will be back unless need be.

Tops is still the best!!! I don't live near one anymore, but I still go to the one on Foote Ave in Jamestown often! Staff polite and helpful, store is clean and well stocked.. 🙋🌹

Using coupons can help you get good deals in store, and there are several clearance racks around the store such as in produce and by the dairy product, where you can find bundles of bananas and green peppers, and tomatoes for around a dollar or two. By the dairy, there's a discounted shelf for deli products such as muffins, danishes, and the like. If you know where to look the prices aren't as bad as most of the store. In the cake section occasionally there will also be sundae cups most commonly on sale, and personal cakes as well for a few dollars.

Tops is nice to run to if you just want to grab something quick or stuff for a 4 course meal. Most of the employees are friendly and will help you if needed. Downfall is the self check out. The registers take so long to recognize what you have bagged so it takes forever.

There are some great employees, but then you get a few that treate customer poorly and you can just tell their judging you. My item's are always squished into bags. I honestly only shop cause close my home if I had other options I wouldn't keep giving them my money!!

I love this Tops! They deserve 5 stars...But...With today being the start of a new cycle for their circulars, it seems crazy that they were completely out of some of the items on sale-specifically wanted Tops cooking spray, which by the space allotted, meant that at least 60 cans were bought in under 12 hours?! And they said they didn’t have any more....??!!... Other than this issue...fabulous!

They refused me service even though it was 5 minutes until closing time and then advised me that I had to empty my cart back to the original shelving areas! I said "Like HELL, y'all are the ones refusing me, I didn't change my mind about needing the contents of my cart,. You can out it all away!"

Way too expensive. No wonder their going bankrupt! They think they are a convenience store!!!! I'll take Aldi's and Walmart for groceries as often as possible!!! Also, they won't make subs to order on food stamps, they claim it's against the law!!! Liars, everyone else does it including Farm Fresh, which is a grocery store! They have self checkout so their not paying that many employees so why so expensive??? 😠

I went to Tops on Foote Avenue to get a few groceries for a Labor Day party tomorrow. I decided to get a fishfry while I was there. The young girl saw me, walked out back, saw me a second time and left the department. I asked the guy in the deli what to do and he pointed to the girl as she was walking back. I took a deep breath and waited around while she did something else. It wasn't busy, mind you, and actually I was the only customer standing there at all. So she finally reluctantly took my order and I went to pick up my other groceries. When I came back I saw her putting my fish and fries in a box and attach the price sticker. She then preceded to set it on a shelf back there and start putting whole cooked chickens in containers and put it out for display. Other than cold food, I waited, because I wanted to see what she would do. I know she saw me. Finally out of the blue she picks up my box and hands it to me. What a pain. Another customer saw me twice in the store and asked me how I made out, because she had dealt with that before. I couldn't believe how blatant she was about ignoring me. Unbelievable. I was going to ask for the manager, but being a Saturday I doubt there was one. And I just wanted to get home. I think her name was Stephanie. Hard to read her name tag running away from me all the time.

They have 1 handicapped cart. When it is available, it loses its charge quickly. I often find it at the entrance not plugged in. Also, have a very hard time getting a cart! None in the lobby, but a parking lot full! Frustrating!! Listen to the cashier's talking about personal stuff while ringing customers out, some cashier's don't even say thank you.

This tops is a joke to. There's nothing like being profiled soon as you walk through the door and followed threw the store like I was stealing stuff when I simply was just trying to get a couple things to go home with for the evening.

This place needs someone to reorganize the whole store. Not user friendly at all. You have to pay for bags, so be sure to bring your own. Prices are not the cheapest. Walmart, Aldis & i was told Wegmans grocery stores were cheaper. Definetly better organized. The other Tops is better & the pharmacy staff is helpful too. Unfortunately, this one was closer, To where I stayed while in town.

I can usually find what I need at the Foote Ave location, and it's a decent size. Employees have been helpful when I can't find something (not my normal TOPS location to shop). Checkout lines are often quite long, and produce is sometimes old. Note if you're new to this store - the entrance is closed after 8 pm so you have to use the exit to get in.

Excellent employees + upbeat attitudes. Prices are moderately inflated. Selection of food items could be better... Produce is ALWAYS on it's last leg. Fresher fruits + vegetables would greatly improve the store's monthly sales.

Love all there fresh fruits.... Tbh tops should lower everything food to 2$ less than what it is and everything makeup body wash clothing etc $5 cheaper than what it is they would have a lot. More customers

I would shop here (Foote Ave store) more often as it is so close to where I live. However, about half of the food items on the shelves are past their "sell by" or "use by" dates. This has been brought to the attention of store employees and management but the items are not removed. If you shop there, you MUST check the date on EVERY item. Aisles are very difficult to navigate as items are placed up the middle of the aisles. It is not very customer friendly due to the layout.

This store is the worst, and management is rude. I have stopped shopping there many different times for many reasons, but always come back because it’s my neighborhood grocery store. Do not buy flowers there!! They will die in a day! ...I called to complain about the dead flowers and although offering a refund IF I HAD MY RECEIPT, management was very rude and OBVIOUSLY did not really care about my complaint.

Prices are high unless items are on sale. Not happy with the self checkout. Waited a good 5 minutes for attendent to try to get my coupon to be accepted. I ended up having to go to service desk to be reimbursed for my coupon. What a fiasco.
