I was there around noon today 4/17/2024, it was a disaster, an employee with headphones and singing as if no one was in the store, another person who was not from the store playing an acoustic guitar which is good to try what one is going to buy but not give a concert, at all this I see the manager who comes out to the floor and as if nothing had happened, well I had to leave because I was accompanied by my son which has special conditions. I visit this store for 10 years and since the manager who has no control over her employees, does nothing!!!I'M not coming back anymore!!

Would have bought the majority of what was in my hand but couldn't try my items on because the fitting closes 30 mins before the store. NOTHING is marked or labeled. I choose to spend my lunch break there to treat myself for once and was denied.My daughter was stabbed in her armpit with a staple due to the placement of price tags a few days prior. They get a star for giving us a band-aid.I WON'T go back there again.

Wasn't overly impressed with this location. The parking lot wasn't easy to get into. The building was severely outdated, needs cleaned, and the staff wasn't very helpful. It is ok, but I have been in better locations of the SA.

Nice staff, however the quality and non quality items are WAY OVERPRICED! In many cases it's more affordable to buy new I think the prices are what keep item turnover from happening.

Terrible, rude, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I shopped here for years and years and loved the employees and experience! I moved away but revist the area frequently and stop by sometimes and let me say, things have changed in the worst way! The manager is the most misserable, nasty, mean woman I have ever delt with. She doesn't even do anything during store hours except sit in the back and price items like they're being sold brand new in a high end store, probably pawing through them, taking what she wants. The employees all seem like they don't want to be there, probably because of her. Then if you go in there after 5 pm she will remind you that they close at 7 every five minutes by screaming it at you across the store. Then they lock the fitting rooms at 6:15, no exceptions. She locks the front door at 6:40 so if you go to leave, they have to let you out. I once asked her if she can let my boyfriend in because he had my wallet and I was going to cash out, and she looked at me like I asked her to slaughter puppies, she said nothing to me, and marched to the door houghing and puffing. My mother-in-law has had many similar experiences with this bitter, mean woman, as well! If you dislike this business and this community so much, maybe don't work here?? I get rules and policies, but you treat your patrons like garbage and act like we're inconveniencing you when we come in. It was so much better when people were nice and friendly and made you feel welcomed!

most of the staff are outwardly rude and act miserable every time we go. they start to lock the doors while customers are still inside at 6:45 (which is illegal btw, its a fire safety hazard). they also won’t let people try clothes on after 6:30? weird. don’t know why we bother going anymore tbh.. the prices are ridiculous, if i wanted to pay $15 for a pair of jeans i’ll just go get them new at the mall.

RUDE. & DISRESPECTFUL. & UNPLEASANT SHOPPING EXPERIENCEThe employees are rude and disrespectful I spent close to 50 dollars at the store and then brought my mother up to look at some dresses. After she got done working and the cashier wouldn't let her try the dress on. After that she stood in the middle of the store and tried it on over her clothes I refused to let her purchase the dress. We will never return.

*Edited Review* *Changed from 3 stars, down to 1 star*Staff militantly and rudely demands customers leave store by 6:50pm, despite having posted hours showing they remain open until 7:00pm. Staff stands at door refusing to allow customers into the store, as early as 6:40pm. This is so that the employees have enough time to cash out their personal sales prior to their registers closing out for the day at 7:00pm. Will be filing an official complaint with The Salvation Army. Tired of being treated like garbage and like a trespasser, when I am spending money in their store.The staff at this particular store continues to be rude and impersonable with customers. Never a thank you, smile, or other polite interaction with customers. They consistently turn the lights off in the store 5-10 minutes before their posted closing time. Most of the staff is unpleasant to deal with.

I Love Mondays!!! It’s the start of a new week where, throughout the whole store, a new colored tag is featured as being one flat price of .99 cents!! (“Wasn’t I just here on Saturday and that chair was $19.99?” - “Why yes it was, but this week it’s 99 cents!” - “Not! For 5 minutes it was that price....But, now it’s MINE!”). Each week also profiles two other colors and gives 50%off price marked for all clothing, shoes, and housewares!I might as well work there on Mondays; I was there longer than some of the employees! ☺️🤩

I can't believe the prices! Thrift stores used to be 5 or 6 bucks for a shirt. Now 8.99 9.99 🤔 that's too much. They do have a nice selection in woman's though. Very scarce on boys clothes.

This a very clean and organized store. If your looking for clothing they have a wide selection. Very few appliances and furniture though. Look for the color tagged special. You can save up to 50% on clothing this way. Over all it was a good experience.

They always try to take advantage of the tag price and then they guess about what type of price it could be this place is like a scam I was there to buy a jeans and the shirt the tag sale was a 38 size and end up being a 44 size there were no tagged and some shirts they were taking advantage of charging so much without tag I won't recommend this for nobody this place is a big scam

The salvation army in Lakewood is pretty nice. I do enjoy the fact the most of the articles of clothing are organized by size and category of sex and age quite nicely. I thought it to be a little pricey in some areasand actually prettygood deals in other areas. Over all, a pleasent staff and environment with a nice selection.

Filthy store. Saw employees physically taking discounted goods off the rack marking them not for sale.Add to this the fact that the Salvation Army is notorious for not putting their money in the right place. They will never receive my money.

I prefer the one in Erie and considering that one is much closer to me, that’s the reason for the -1 star. But I got a couple dresses and a nice fuzzy fleece for like $6 so I’m happy!

Regular prices are kind of high. The clothes are sorted by color, not size. Plus size section is quite small. Otherwise great place to look for treasures!

Only 1 sales person to work register and try to help on locked floor cabinets. Prices are getting awful high for items used and donated cheaper to buy new at Wal-Mart or better yet but at second chance thrift store.
