For this target being a new store I’m wondering why it’s always so disorganized. I’ve never been in a target that has piles of things everywhere. The clothing sections are always a mess. Boxes and carts full of inventory are all out in the isles and no one around putting things away or organizing.

If I was able to give zero stars, I would do so, due to the worst customer service ever. I purchased an Apple iPad Smart Keyboard and the employee who sold it to me said you have 3 months to return it. After I came to the store the manger said I can’t do your return because it has been over a month. So why did the employee provide a False information, about the 3 months return policy?!!!!!!!!

When the news of a Target store was coming to our area there was significant excitement. When the Grand opening occurred, it was evident that they were lacking considerable stock and organization. I’ve since been in the store three times and in my view management and organization of the facility and merchandise has not improved at all. There is product thrown about the shelves and floor, isles are cluttered, racks are disorganized with mis labeled clothing.I’ve been in several Target stores in the Mn area and they all are neat, clean and extremely well organized. I can’t imagine corporate management is aware of the local situation and permits it to go on. Unless things change quickly I suspect it won’t be long until we see a “going out of business” sale which will be very sad. As of now I give the Target rating of F minus.

So nice to have another store besides Walmart in the area! Seems as tho they may be having trouble keeping stuff in stock but it’s to be expected with it being a newly opened store and new to the area. Overall satisfied and happy to have a Target!

Disorganized, false advertising in baby clothes section (clothes don't match brand names above sections) & no cashiers available last 2 times in store. It's too bad this store has good items for purchase but will take my business elsewhere or online if at least 1 register isn't available next time I come in to purchase goods.

I have never seen a target store so messy and unorganized! Clothes everywhere. Opened and unopened inventory boxes everywhere. I figured after a few visits it would be better organized but it’s absolutely horrific and completely under stocked! Even if understaffed, there was barely any customers in the store, and this is just a continuing problem. I left quite quick and was so unimpressed. I haven’t seen other stores like this before in other locations!

Jamestown NY is my home town but I live in NC and shop Target quite a bit. I am in Jamestown this week and went to the new local Target. It was laid out quite differently than the one near my home in NC and initially liked the layout. The problem is that in every clothing dept there were piles of clothing on the floor. It did not seem anyone was employed to straighten the store. The small racks on wheels were just pushed in the way of being able to pass through.I have never seen another Target store in such a state. This will turn people off as it appeared to be no better than Wal-Mart. Even some of the home goods areas were a mess. I hope they are able to get this remedied as the holidays are here and it is going to be crazy. The food area was fine and the toy aisles are very nicely stocked.

My husband and I shopped here for the first time on New Years Eve, and we were shocked. My husband asked if it's one of the locations that is closing. It looked like they had one of those smash and grab robberies.Even more shocked to see the other reviews showing it wasn't a one- time thing. Hard to believe they've only been open a few months. SAD!

This store is awful. It's brand new and it looks like a cheap, disorganized mess. There were clothes on the floor in every department. There were shoes and shoe boxes on the floor in that section. I don't know if they are understaffed or just don't care, but this store had me running to my local Walmart.

The place was well stocked. Clean and friendly, very helpful if you have questions. It also has plenty of different gift cards. And many more items for a department store. You get lost in this place.

This store was a mess for being a fairly new store. Shelves messed up and didn't see anyone cleaning them. Items on the wrong shelf just bad. Don't think we will be coming back here.

Accused of being a thief for having an item in my cart. This is my first trip into the somewhat newly opened store. I went in to buy a DSLR camera and some groceries, etc. Keep in mind I'm wearing my company uniform with both the local company name and my name proudly displayed. I start with the camera. The associate unlocks it and awkwardly asks me repeatedly to go to the electronics counter to pay for it as I'm on my way to the electronics counter to pay for it. He's watching me like a hawk. Standard practice, no worries. I had also picked up an SD card and thrown it in the cart although it wasn't what I wanted so I planned to think about it while I finished my shopping. Associate is painfully awkward as he rings up the camera while assuming I'm offended I have to pay for it now. He then notices the SD card in my cart and tells me I can pay for it. I tell him I haven't decided, I'll get it with my groceries. A minute goes by of ringing up the camera and he asks me how big the SD card is. I tell him and now suddenly it's kind of big to be walking around the store with despite it hanging unsecured on the shelf 90 seconds ago. He wants me pay for it now. I politely explain why I don't want to. "Well it's not really a big deal, you can just pay for it now." I point out that it is in fact 'not a big deal' but I can put it back if it bothers him being in my cart. Nope, can't put it back because then I could just pick it up again. Now I actually am offended. I'm fairly certain I neither look nor act like a thief but might as well have been. Needed the camera so I bought both it and the stupid SD card. Came to my senses a few minutes later and returned them on the way out. Went to Walmart where it was improperly priced $50 cheaper but they happily honored the price anyway and declined to check my receipt as I left. Called target where I was kindly informed it's actually not store policy to accuse people of theft for putting stuff in the little red shopping carts they so willingly provide. Do better.

Went to check out the new store, waited 29 mins to get someone to open up the video game display…. Was frustrated but new store gave them the benefit of the doubt… accidentally bought the wrong game.. had to return it… service desk is at opposite end of front door(terrible idea) then waited another 27 mins to re open then game bins… won’t be going back

Fantastic store, the makeup section offers higher quality brands not found at other stores in the area. This is a great option for Jamestown shoppers.
