I am quite fond. Save a lot had English muffins today at $1.79, while they were over $5 for a half dozen every other place I went today. Bargains are enhanced even more by reduced items and clearance. I got bananas for bread at 19c per pound

Locally owned managed by the owner. They have all the staples at favored pricing. If you don't want to waste an hour shopping this is the place to go, save time and money on 95% of what you need. Send your spouse to the mega store for the other 5%.

I was in there on Friday the 21st at 5:00 after work. Again only 1 check out line open. Then the lady checking me out won't slide my 4 items over. I had to ask the gentleman behind me back up so I could get my items off the belt , which started to move bunched everyone's item together.

younger woke cashier's ruining the place. Just throw your stuff in a buggy, zero politeness, talk with other cashier's the whole time or on phone. Gonna miss this place. Customer service never returned my call

I recently been visiting the Jamestown area and been stopping by the store for the awesome prices! But the cashier was rude. She never smiled an had a look of disgust on her face! I am a very nice person an treat people with respect. After I cashed out she pushed my cart so hard to the bagging area! I think you need to train your cashier's to b nice to people ! As for the girl who was stocking the milk that day she was super nice!

A small grocery store on the outside of town so may be overlooked at times, but should not be! The variety of foods and prices are great. Meat specials are awesome and they have quantity as well as quality when picking out meaty cuts. The frozen food dept is the best, and prices can't be beat. Friendly staff. It's a bag-your-own grocery store but that's ok.

Love everything prices are great but I do have to complain about someone there named Javier or however it’s spelled. He was called not once but twice over the loudspeaker to come to the cashier to help this poor new guy out whose apparently not been there long. The line was getting long for this new guy and finally after the second time he called for Javier to come up he came up and gave him attitude and told him “don’t be calling my name over the loudspeaker more than once” If he doesn’t want him to do that maybe he should have came up sooner when he was first called ridiculous. Not to mention this Javier guy was standing in front of the coolers blocking people talking to someone when he’s supposed to be working.

Owner is improving thè store with added recognized national brand items along with their weekly specials . Prices are modest, many items for stretching the family food budget dollars are available. The quality of their meat is very good and they don't saturate their meat with water before putting it in a heavy styrofoam tray like some box stores do. I enjoy shopping there.

A cheap stop for quick shopping to fulfill your grocery needs. Not my regular place to shop but when the wallet is light, it's nice to have for some basic needs. Selection is limited and quality is fine. Not the coziest of places to be in either.

Very nice staff, but I can't really say the same about a lot of the customers. You will see a lot of Spanish speaking women screaming in their phones in Spanish while all of their kids run all over unattended. You will also see a lot of really old white women standing around talking and blocking isles. The bag yourself area isn't wide enough and doesn't have enough bag holders so you have to wait for these huge families with tons of kids running all over to finish bagging their 2 to 3 full carts before you can.Do not shop here around food stamp refill time. You'll never get everything, get out, and get bagged in under an hour.

The meat department absolutely is the best in this part of the state the meat is always beyond what you'd expect from a grocery store. The butcher's are always so helpful and knowledgeable a great place to shop!

The cashier was extremely rude. I asked her (nicely) to please move the cat food bags from one cart to the next for me. I said please & Thank you 2x & she responded by saying very very loudly ..as she Slammed the 8 or10 lb bags to the other cart."WHY CERTAINLY!! B'CUZ, YOU KNOW, CASHIERS WE DONT HAVE BACK PROBLEMS!!!" The tone in her voice said more than the volume of her voice. When whe spoke EVERYONE in the store stopped at looked. She tried to humiliate me. I said nothing more as she obviously has deeper issues. But will never shop at any Save a Lot ever again.So, I am Sure Tops, Wegmans or even Aldis will Be more than happy to accept my business. I will never go back there again. I get customers bag their own items but there was no excuse to be so rude. She could gave just said no, we do not move the itmes mame..or something of that nature.

Last month I lost a precious ring in the parking lot. A cashier came out and helped Me look for it. To My dismay it wasn't found.I made several attempts, (on different days), to find My ring and each time one of the workers was right there also searching.I finally received a call that it had been found !I don't know who was successful in the find and really don't care. but I do know that I think the staff at the store are great, lovely, caring individuals (I hope) and I thank them very much !Thanks Again,RHONDA

The cashier was rude..... she put my few groceries in the cart after ringing them up. I asked her if she needed both 6 pks of Pepsi, she said no. I finished paying and she pushed the cart away before I could move the remaining 6 pk into the other cart and started ringing up the next customer. I then returned my original cart to the unused cart area ....the customer being rung up thanked me, not the cashier because she then walked away because a Male friend of hers walked up and he became the most important person in the store......

I live here !! Quality food for less !! If you want to impress the Joneses shop at Wegmans. But for the same money at Wegmans you get almost twice the amount of groceries. You dont need me to tell you...
