Watch this place carefully. They gave me a prescription through drive thro never told me the dollar mount. Got home seen it was 150.00 took it back and they told me they couldn't return. Thanks alot of money not everybody gets free medicine from Medicare . Some people have to work alot for that much money that's grocery money for the week thanks for nothing. I'll start by going across the st to rite aid for now on

these are just a few examples of why you should go to a different pharmacyfor you prescriptions: (1) absolutely ridiculous amount of time spent on hold trying to even get to talk to someone, if they don't just hang up the phone on you. (2) the wait time in the store is absolutely disgusting and most of the time the prescription isn't ready anyway. not that there is an organization of the prescription system. (3)drive thru is almost always down, even when it's open they hit your car with Archaic the Drawer Thing anyways, (4)Completely rude staffOnly reason why I gave it one star. It's because the store is clean.

Used to be my go to place for prescriptions. Since this new automated phone service and the lack of customer service. I will be changing to a different pharmacy.

This is the only CVS pharmacy so far that doesn't finish refills. It can take over a week for them and you have physically come into the store and request it again. Otherwise they don't bother. I used to get texts from other locations that my prescription is ready but not this location. Will be switching to a different pharmacy.

They never answered the phone . They are rude . They are not professional they hang up on you. The meds that you are supposed to be on they don't even get them done on a timely manner. The staff is extremely rude at times. Sometime they're overstaffed and sometimes they are understaffed for no reason. They give people attitudes and expect you to not give an attitude. Pick a different field if you can't work in customer service every single one of them. Rolling your eyes getting irritated you were in the wrong field this is customer service. I wishI could give it zero Stars. My family myself my wife friends they all come here and they all experiencing the same b*******.

It is almost always multiple business days to get any prescription filled. Regardless of whether it's from an urgent care, hospital, Just a routine refill, etc. There are always several calls on hold in the pharmacy. It takes 15 plus minutes to get a person on the phone, and we've had multiple situations where we wait 15 minutes and then they pick up and immediately hang up.... So we are stuck waiting another 15 minutes.Typically the pharmacy drive-thru has a line, and it sometimes takes 20 minutes or more to get through the drive-thru... Just to be told that your prescription isn't ready even though it was ordered several days ago.We ONLY used CVS originally because they were available 24/7 and they used to be available quickly... Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.CVS needs to do better.

This place is going to hell in a handbasket,, they can't even answer the phone there anymore no matter what time of day it is. Prescriptions are important and if you need to talk to someone you should be able to, period..I will probably switch my business to a pharmacy where they still answer phones or can afford another employee!!!! I've been a customer there for over twenty five years and I've had it!!!

Employee Sheryl refused to conduct a MoneyGram service transaction for unknown reason…stated per manager it was company policy although amount was within the stated policy limit. Also appears to be unaware of how peer-to-peer services function. Employee and manager both require additional training on service as well as how to properly address and resolve conflicts with customers as employee then threatened to call police due to us asking for additional information on policies for MoneyGram service rather than providing policy information…strange employee and manager behavior…employee then refused to provide manager or corporate contact information…employee and manager are terribly misrepresenting this company’s services…

Medications are never ready as stated. It doesn't matter if you call ahead, use their app, leave a message & wait for a call back. Just had a pharmacist call my wife & state her prescription would be done at 3:30pm just to show up at 4 & still not be ready & have to wait. CVS is Brooklyn Square needs help. If it wasn't for nice Pharmacist/cashiers it would be a 1 star review.

After stopping into CVS Jamestown last night, I'd like nothing more than to give it one star. But doing so would reflect only on the bad experience I encountered and would diminish the truly outstanding reasons that make CVS my go-to store for absolutely all cosmetic, beauty, hair and skin care products. It should be noted however, that I have a CarePass membership that accounts for all of these unbelievable deals. Enrolling in ExtraCare as they call it cost $5 a month and before anyone starts thinking " oh, you have to pay extra for it"- you should know that every month, automatically, they give you $10. Ten bucks off of absolutely anything in the store every month. They match the 5 you pay and throw another 5 on top of it making anything you buy in the store free if it's 10 bucks or less. And it doesn't stop there. The coupons you get every month are insane. And they're based on the items you buy. For example, I got a 4$ off any Loreal product this month which is standard. But 4$ off a tube of mascara that I had to buy either way? I'll take it! As I said, it's the only place that I'll shop for things like that. You get up to the register and can't help but almost snicker when they give you the total after all of the discounts generated from that tiny ExtraCare card. However, as I eluded to earlier, the register is where things potentially could go downhill quick depending on when you stop in. There are some really great people on during the day and outside of last night, had never really had a problem. But again, why would I? I go in and get what I need without picking things up and leaving them lay anywhere if I decide not to purchase. Purchase being the key word as cosmetics,in general, are stolen constantly. Point being, one would assume that a chashier at a retail store could, at the very least, refrain from picking on a customer who a) pays extra for an optional membership b) doesn't steal from them and c) is respectful of their store/ products; who quietly goes about their shopping, pays for their items and leaves the store as orderly and neat as they found it. Unfortunately that was not the case last night and the circumstances surrounding this instance leave me questioning what to do with my once " go- to" store. Out of any evening that I would have appreciated a cashier not initiate a childlike argument with me it would have been last night. I had just come from my grandmother's wake and stopped in to get waterproof mascara to wear to the funeral the following day. I had no desire to engage in some cashiers silly personal life drama that has no place being brought into a place of work. If an employee cannot simply ring up two items at their register without feeling the need to engage negatively with a customer who hasn't uttered a single word to them, they need not be dealing with the public. I didn't need an immature adolescent to pick on me as I stopped by the store for an item or two. Pretty sad that one bad employee trying to get a rise out of his friends huddled around him whilst at his job can really blacken the image of someplace and keep loyal customers away.

Plenty of cashiers waiting around but very few pharmacists. The line is always long and the drive-thru is closed 5 days a week due to "lack of staff"Working people pay hundreds of dollars for health insurance every week and we have to wait 40+ mins for 1 script once a month? Ridiculous. I'd have it shipped if it didn't arrive late every time. 2 stars because I can at least get my medicine after waiting a century.

Price shopping for “Steri strips” today. CVS was $10 cheaper than Rite Aid not including the additional discount (30%) from rewards card. Where do you shop?

Worthless and unprofessional. While I'm on the phone trying to fix thier mistakes I hear them talk about me using my name and personal information and mocking me for being upset that I've been without meds for three weeks y now. I have insurance, they say I don't and give up.

I get my medicines at this location on Brooklyn Square. Great staff, very attentive. They allow you to brouse before asking if there something specific. Pharmacists are of great help when ordering meds for you or modifying orders of refills to help you out. I also get my Flu shots and Covid boosters. Great handling of sgringes. A very pleasant experience when it comes to immunizations. Bravo CVS.

How come every time I need to go to this store after 12am is it closed? They have a big glowing sign saying open 24h but yet only the drive-through pharmacy is open. I think it's time to change that sign. In my opinion that's false advertisement. It's been closed from 12am to 6am for nearly a year now. Take down the 24h sign!

Terrible!! I’ve been using this pharmacy for over 15 years. They have been good until the past year or so. Since then they have been terrible with service. I’ve had to come back nearly 50% of my visits after being told the script wasn’t ready (after a text saying it was). Drivethough waiting time is unacceptable, I am currently writing this while sitting waiting in the drive-through with two vehicles in front of me for nearly 20 minutes. I will be in the process of switching who will get my business after one of the workers, told me on my last visit, that they are shortstaffed and have to many clients.

Pharmacy has declined over the years. I switched to Walgreens. They screwed me on antibiotics for my kids too many times because they were too backed up.

Every single time I've been here to do a moneygram transaction, I've been told moneygram is down everywhere. However whenever I call other moneygram locations I'm told moneygram is up and running. This leads me to believe the associates here just do not want to do moneygram transfers and if that's the case it's highly unprofessional. Today I was told that "moneygram called us personally", yet I called 2 other locations and there is no problem.
