Coolest Home Depot experience to date with the dynamic duo Bonnie and Clyde.. I mean Bonnie and Mike, in the paint department! They made picking out paint fun and easy. Hey Home Depot…Mike deserves a raise. This is a man who loves his job and speaks highly of his employer. That is so rare to find nowadays! We had a really fun conversation with him and he agreed to come check out our local business to make a skydive. We are holding you to that promise, Mike!!I would have totally given five stars if not for the rude woman at the front of the store who has given us a hard time twice at the check out in the past week. It is not the customer’s fault that Home Depot doesn’t tag things properly, and should not be up to the customer to run back and take photos of codes on the shelf to prove the price to them. We found the item in question in their system and she swore up and down there was “no way it was that cheap”. We then had to run back and forth multiple times to the garden section to show that we weren’t trying to rip off Home Depot for six dollars, when we spend thousands a year here!No need for the rudeness on your way out when there’s such cool people working in the rest of the store!

Bart is the man! Helped me get the right stuff to plumb a drain at my house just before closing. He was patient and helpful and very pleasant. There was also a woman who helped who was extremely nice, not sure of her name though. Nice work!

Home Depot has proven to be much more reliable than Lowe’s when it comes to getting materials for home renovations. We’ve been here almost every week for the last several months - returns are easy. We also got all of our appliances from here and delivery was super easy. Home Depot > Lowe’s any day!

Great service. Helpful. Like layout and orderliness of Home Depot store. At this time prefer Home Depot to Lowe's. Needed also to rent a tool. Lowe's is closer. Reason I usually stop there first. Recently didn't have in stock what I needed.

Absolutely horrible delivery service. The associate in the store are great but that’s where it stops. I’ve never had a pleasant experience with a delivery. NOT ONE, I’m constantly lied to by the delivery companies and home depot doesn’t care. I do not recommend and I will no longer be spending my money at Home Depot

Found this great deal on vegetable plants but they didn't ring up on sale, was told the sale expired days before 5/29, a manager came and had to rescan all 10 plants and then the cashier had to discount each one. Glad I wasn't in a hurry.

What a well run Home Depot! Eric and Jim in the tool rental department volunteered to helped me out this morning, and I don't know how I would have gotten done what I needed done without them. I asked three other people in the store for where to find things, and each person took the time to direct me (accurately) or look up the item and find the exact location. I was very impressed! The Home Depot staff at my hometown Home Depot are not nearly as caring and nice. Way to go!

I ordered a $ 700.00 grill at the Ithaca store.They didn't have any in stock so they ordered it online for me and told me it would ship in a month.The order never showed up so I contacted store and was told the order was canceled and they can't put my money back on my card and I'd have to come to the store for cash. I then asked if there was a deadline and was told no.I went to the store to get my money today and got told I'm past the deadline and there's no way they can give me money back or reorder the grill.I'm disappointed to say the least.

Have been here multiple times. My experiences usually end with poor customer service, a long wait for assistance, or the simplest items not being in stock. Most recently, I asked for assistance on locating a specific bolt that was a certain grade.The worker showed me where the bolts are told me he didnt know what grade it was and walked away even after he watched me come from that aisle. It seems to be the only HomeDepot that I have repeated customer service problems.

I'm a new cardholder with Home Depot, I ordered a corner shower kit (3 pieces), I get a notification that my order is ready for pickup. I go, do curbside pickup and my glass door piece is not to be found.Her name is AMANDA... and she is... Amazing!! Even though they weren't able to track it down that day, due to short on working employees, which I don't hold against them because everyone and everywhere this is a situation.Anyways, she was upfront with me for what was going on, didn't try to push me aside with my problem. She called me every time there was an update for the next following days! Which was awesome to know that I wasn't forgotten about. My problem was taken care of in a few days and I personally really appreciate her efforts and Home Depot is lucky to have this hard working individual. So if anyone runs into Amanda, you're in good hands.

I prefer to shop here or rather than Lowe's. Anytime I have a question or I get lost which is quite frequently there's always somebody around. If they don't know where an item is or the answer to my question they do what they can to find out. Now I can only speak from my personal experience but I really have no reason to complain at all I think the staff is friendly for the most part, check out is very easy, the layout makes sense

Home Depot, Ithaca is my go-to Home Depot store. I want to share my experience with Sarah from the hardware department. I purchased a bench online and while assembling it over the weekend, two of the bolts stripped and I was unable to finish putting the bench together. I called the store disappointed and frustrated and spoke to Sarah who indicated someone at the store will be able to take a look at the bench and see if they can help. When I got to the store I went to the customer service desk and asked a staff member to page Sarah. I was then told that Sarah said to go to the tool rental desk and someone should be able to help me. I went to the tool rental desk and the employee behind the counter advised me to return the bench as it sounded like I will need to either rent or purchase tools/hardware to fix the bench - which I didn't seem was fair for me to do. I then walked back to the customer service desk and explained the whole situation in an attempt to return the bench. The employee I spoke with then asked Sarah to talk to me. After I explained the outcome of the conversation with the tool rental desk, Sarah walked with me to my car to take a look at the bench. She then went back inside the store several times to get the appropriate tools to get the bolts into the bench and I was able to leave the store with a fully assembled bench. This whole process was not a five minute deal and Sarah was patient and gave me her undivided attention the entire time. This is not the first time Sarah has helped me in a frustrating situation and had it not been for Sarah I would have probably returned the bench and wait another week for a replacement or would have probably taken my business elsewhere.

Staff is helpful as they can be. Supply chain issues make it difficult to find what you want (for me that was ready-to- install kitchen countertop). Prices seem really high, but again I suppose that is due to demand outstripping supply.

Helpful people, and price competitive with the other guy.It is frustrating the way they block isles with items, especially when you're dealing with large items on a cart. Couldn't maneuver around to get to the self checkout and none of the other registers were open.They should be mindful about fire and safety policies pertaining to minimum Isle width.

The Ithaca Store is a mess. Full carts with returned merchandise are left for weeks in the isles and you have to move them to get a cart down the isle or to get material off a shelf. The " plumbing specialist" doesn't even know what pipe dope is. Their website lists items that are in stock but when going to the store the shelf is bare and the employees have no idea where the product is located, if you can actually get an employee free from their private conversations. This store is one of the worst Home Depot stores. Upper management needs to come in and clean up the store management. One star was too much credit.

The customer service at this location is stellar!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found great help available two days in a row! I recommend working with Dave C (store manager) and Alan (Pro Desk) plus the staff that loaded my order on to the Load and Go truck! Great experience all around. I did notice that the excellent service was from all the workers who were at the Pro Desk/Lumber area. Can't say that the other staff was helpful. BUT if you are doing a big lumber job (I was installing a deck), then definitely go here!

I was nervous about a first in store visit in over a year. Everyone was masked and gave plenty of space. The salesperson was great help in purchasing 2 new appliances. It all made my visit a very good and productive one.

I had to do a return of a well pump I ordered online, they actually had in store the one I needed. Jen at the return desk handled the return and the new sale. I told her what I needed and she knew exactly where it was. She is so professional, knowledgeable and saved me a ton of time. Very clean store,also .

I go to this store all the time. I ordered out of the box, non-custom kitchen cabinets 3 months ago for pickup at this store. I paid to rent a trailer and hired someone to pick up the order June 11 when it said it was ready for pickup. I was then told the cabinets were damaged and could not be picked up and would not be able be refilled for SEVERAL MORE MONTHS.I asked the associate, Linda, the day I was notified of damage to cancel the order immediately since new cabinets would not arrive for several more months. She hung up on me (intentionally) and apparently did not do so. Obviously I'm on a construction timeline and getting these cabinets at the end of the summer just won't work. I've already ordered them elsewhere.I tried to reach Home depot via the central 1800 number at least 18 times but after waiting over 30 minutes on at least 5 separate occasions, I gave up reaching anyone and determined the number simply wasn't staffed.This is completely unacceptable and I will be disputing this charge via my payment method as the order was not successfully fulfilled on your end and you provided the worst/non existent customer service imaginable. (I'm still on the 1800 now - 30 minutes and counting -- but again, no one is ever answering at any branch of the menu). Home depot should really be reported to BBB.
