Horrible customer service. There was no one at the register, so I patiently stood there waiting with my heavy monitor to checkout. An employee saw me waiting, and disregarded it. I understand if the team is short staffed, but communicating with your customers that someone will be on their way to check out your item would be nice. I made eye contact with this employee several times, understood he was helping out a long line at the package area, but yet he acted like I was invisible. Please just communicate with people who are patiently waiting to check out, that someone will be over in x amount of minutes to help. Why isn’t there someone to help out at the check out register anyways? If this is a problem, get a self checkout area. I had been waiting for 10 minutes, and would have waited 10 more if the employee at least told me someone would be checking me out shortly. It’s the fact that you don’t know how long you’re gonna waste your time and be ignored that is the issue.

I stopped into the new Staples location to send out a package via UPS. I was beyond impressed with my interaction with Julie. Her ability to interact with kindness, sincerity and an upbeat attitude was a breath of fresh air in today's world. She should be store manager and if she already is, then she deserves a raise. I will now consider Staples for more services based upon this interaction.

We went in to get some things printed very last minute for a wedding. Kylie was extremely helpful even though it was close to closing time. She was able to get us what we needed & took the time to help us because we had a lot of questions. We never would have been able to get everything done without her help. She was amazing!

Amazing and so nice! Anthony in tech services was SO helpful. He doesn’t miss a chance to help a customer, was busy juggling multiple people while helping me and killing it. Dancing and singing and energetic and friendly the whole way through. Quickly fixed my problem while the Verizon store just around the corner wouldn’t even let me in or help me even when I had made an appointment in advance. Glad I went to staples instead!!

I like this place. There's a huge selection of products. OK, most of them aren't products I need or want, but it's still huge. The staff can be friendly and have often been helpful beyond mere necessity.You might think that the pricing is "discount" or, even, good. If you shop the specials, you might sometimes be correct, too. In general, though, even the specials are higher priced than you can get them online(*). Keep reading, spoiler coming up...Until the day that Amazon can deliver by drone to my front door (not soon, trust me, you haven't seen where my front door is), it's good to have a REAL store in town with the supplies you need. Sit quietly, oh tricky ones, here it comes.Staples has lower prices online than in the store.And, store policy is that, if you point out the online price, they will honor it at the store. In fact, they'll match online pricing from other legit stores. So do your homework before you visit the downtown Staples.(*) Example: 32GB USB 2.0 flash drive. Was on special (something like half of regular price) and I had a $10 coupon, as well. Final price was only about $1 below online shopping. Without the coupon, I'd have been better off online and paying shipping!

I usually have an amazing experience at Staples because of my love of office supplies. Today however I did not have an enjoyable time as the man checking me out was extremely slow and added $26 worth of items on to the receipt that I did not have. In spite of this very pleased with the friendliness of the people working there as at least four asked me if I was finding everything alright and if I needed help to just ask them.

Went in looking for a new printer. The employee asked if he could assist with anything. He was so knowledgeable regarding all the types and styles. Helped me pick out what I really needed vs what I thought I wanted. Very happy with my purchase and the friendliness of all the staff.

I popped in to the print shop yesterday afternoon, while the sales person was on their lunch break. The general manager quickly approached me and asked if I needed any help. I thanked him and told him my needs, and we both agreed it would be the most cost-effective to use one of the self-serve printers, as I had several items to copy and print. One of my documents was 86 pages long and I was having issues printing for some reason. While I was struggling with the machine, the print shop quickly went from completely dead to totally slammed. I felt terrible bothering him for help, but he willingly jumped from customer to customer, putting out fires. I have never had customer service quite like that at Staples before. JT went above and beyond the call of duty and this was hands down a terrific experience!

The customer service we received from general manager Rick was absolutely terrific. We ran into a challenging and confusing inventory situation and Rick went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we left with a satisfactory resolution. Give that man a trophy!

The staples team in Ithaca is great. They go out of their way to make sure you can find what you need at the best price. They helped me figure out how to use my printer with patience. They talk me through pros & cons of certain purchases to suit my needs. They do move the store around, like most retail places, but employees are easy to find & most of the time ask me if I need help before I have to hunt anyone down. They provide excellent customer service that is getting harder & harder to find these days.

Staples is a good office supplies store that has for sometime included computers, printers and other electronics products. Staples has a complete range of products for the corporate office and the home office. Prices range from low cost to the high end. There are a many choices to choose from. Some may think that Staples is on the high end side, but you get what you pay for. Staples does have good quality.

Not helpful at all. I have bought 3 or 4 laptops from this Staples store in the past. I am having problem's downloading pictures from my phone to the laptop. The manager Did not want the tec Guy to help unless I pay for the help. Never asked if I had a service plan . Witch I do..

Ups counter can't take corporate account numbers, tells you that UPS store in town will take them. That is incorrect. I find that what used to be a great service at Staples gets less and less effective as time goes by.

I love the deals that I get signed up for their text messaging service, and I always use staples for my ink. If you wait for their coupons, prices are great and it's worth it.

This is my favorite Electronics store in Ithaca. Better prices than Best Buy and better sales and deals. I go there for all my computer needs and shipping needs as well.

Very poor customer service, product selection is actually quite narrow. No reason to deal with them vs buying on-line. A great example of why traditional retail is failing.
