Didn't have what I needed. Was hard to find someone to help me. All Lowe's are this way. The employees scatter when they think you need help. Sorry but Home Depot employees are always willing to help. Just wish Lowe's employees would care more about their customers.

Literally the worst purchase experience of my life and I have so much regret for not just waiting for Thayer Appliances to get the size I needed. The delivery was a comedy of errors with Lowe's later explaining that the reason for all of the confusion was the fact that there were two departments and third parties involved...as if the fact that none of them seem to speak with one another is just normal.

Come one, come all, hear the story of Lowe's left a fridge in the rain on my front porch instead of installing it and taking the old one, like we had agreed.Twas a Friday night when I reached in the freezer to find a soft piece of bread in my hand. As I check around, everything is warm and melting, oh no, what horror has struck. After a visit from the fridge doctor, it is diagnosed as terminally ill.Our landlord jumps into action, finding a new fridge on Lowes with options for delivery and pick-up of the old fridge. What a wonderful service we think, so he books for the soonest delivery. Sadly they cannot deliver until Monday, giving us a delivery window of 9am-1pm, remember this window for it will be important later. By the grace of god there is a snow storm all weekend, so we are able to leave the surviving groceries in a cooler in the sunroom successfully.Sadly, on the Sunday before the new fridge arrives, tragedy strikes, while at a birthday party a friend is gravely injured, and we spend the night rushing to the hospital and making sure she is safe. Not till 3am do we get to bed.Knowing the fridge is due, I set my alarm for the last possible moment, 9am, thinking I will spring out of bed at the sound of the alarm and check the window to see if anyone is there. Surprisingly the plan is executed flawlessly, and at 9am I spring out of bed and run to the window, what I see takes away my breath.There is a fridge already sitting in the snow at our door step, with melting snow falling all over it from the roof. In the drive way is a man taking a photo of it and then running for the hills as if chased by a dragon. I run downstairs to the entrance as fast as I may, but by the time I open the door there is no one in the driveway, just a wet fridge sitting sad in the snow. I look at my phone, it was 9:01.I come to find a few messages on my phone, apparently big brains from Lowes came half an hour early and sat in the drive way for 30 minutes because screw the schedule, Lowes is above all! Woah is on me for not having been up early awaiting the Lowes lords and now it is on my to move the wet fridge up the stairs to our apartment, after having been up till 3am the night before assisting others. What is the point of giving a delivery window when you come when you will, I know not, but Lowes said screw you, its your problem now.Even better the big brains from Lowes were kind enough to strip off all the protective plastic when they left it on the porch, so scratch the brand new fridge twice we did going up the stairs.Today I await the Lowes lords to come get the old fridge, which has been clogging up the kitchen ever since. Today they gave us a window of 8am-12pm, so at 7:30am I was waiting, but nothing till 11:20. At least they were in the schedule and did a clean job removing the old fridge, just wish they had shown the same proficiency on the way in.So take my warning and order not from the lords of Lowes, for no regard for your time or money do they show.

The return counter was fast and helpful and I'm glad the woman explained that she had a major headache and was sorry if she seemed off and rude but she wasn't.

I am hearing that Lowe's is doing away with the cashier and the customer has to ring themselves out. The last time I had just one item to buy and I hate to use them they always give me a big problem. If that is how it is going to be I will not step foot in Lowe's again. I'm on disability I shouldn't have to work to buy my products. When I was there I made them ring me out. There were three stations only one took cash, one was broke and one was for cards. And everyone was in line for the cash one. Three workers there but nobody running a register. That is sad. You can't say that can't put one person on a register. I have spent a lot of money over the years at Lowe's but if that is their way of saving money it is piss poor.

I came to this store to order all the materials for my condo's renovation project, and there have been a lot of unexpected changes along the way. The employees at Lowe's have been incredibly patient and helpful throughout this entire process. Given the complexity of my project, I've had to visit Lowe's more than a dozen times to address various issues, pick up my orders, and handle refunds. There were moments when the staff didn't immediately have all the answers, but they always went the extra mile to seek assistance and never once lost their patience. I'm genuinely grateful for their outstanding support. I doubt I could receive this level of assistance anywhere else.

The lady at Ithaca store first lied to me and said you cannot order the stuff which is on website in-store. There was another lady and she also lied and said she does not know how to check the credit on the store issued card. Then I asked for manager and they kept me waiting for manager for 40 minutes. When the manager came, he was stupid and super rude and was constantly lying and saying we cannot check the store issue card having credit on it. I showed him the card and it was clearly mentioned on the card that balance can be checked at the store. And in the end he said that Lowes has changed its policy and the card I have is an old one. The two ladies and specifically the store manager were stupid, rude, unkind, lairs and unprofessional. I would like to know if Lowes has changed its policies recently. It’s not only me, all my neighbors and friends are complaining about the rude, unprofessional and stupid behavior of majority of the Lowes Ithaca staff. We all have stopped going there. Home Depot is the best! Don’t ever go to Lowes Ithaca.

I went in to see how many people I could get to help me. No one in lighting had some walk by,even though I was acting confused. Asked a person at the far end of the store where something was and got the point and go to the aisle. Not many women know the store, and especially new people coming in. I'm sure it would have taken a moment to walk me to where it was. Sorry to have bothered while at YOUR job.

Abigail needs an attitude check. Rude right off the bat when trying to make a return and spoke to us like we were dumb and said we couldn't, even though it was the day before at another Lowe's. They have the same products, they are returned the same way, but she said because the Lowe's wasn't the exact same Lowe's, it wasn't possible. When we scanned through the app, it came up the exact product. If she doesn't know what she's doing, she needs to be retrained and get someone who knows what they're doing. If she can't work with people, she shouldn't be in retail. She was upset that we were explaining something to her that she didn't understand. And when we started talking to her the same way she was talking to us, she got mad and her behavior became twice as unprofessional than it already was. Retraining or moving her to a new position is definitely needed. She was very set in being wrong.

Staff was friendly and helpfull, if you could find someone. Other than that, it was a typical Lowes. Outdoor display was large and neat and attractive. Lumber area was a complete mess and disaster! Safety issue, couldn't even get down 2 idles. The lady and young man that helped with our linoleum were very helpful.

It's ok especially if you're looking for specific home improvement supplies. Hard to find employee help, although you can always find employees chatting with each other. Still expensive. I'd rather shop at Home Depot

Looking for a quick in and out trip. I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for and about to give up when an employee approached me and asked if I needed help. He was excellent, took me right to where the item was and I was able to get in and out just like I wanted.This knowledgeable friendly service is hard to find anymore. I value these interactions and will continue to shop in person at Lowe's for this very reason.

I order a pellet stove from this store and then returned it without using it. It has taken weeks to get someone to pick it up with regular rescheduling of a week or more only for them to not show up and make no attempt to contact. Waiting to see if it gets picked up again.

I always enjoy going to Lowe's but seeing no clerks and only self checkout was disconcerting. We walked all the way to the other end if the store to find a human to ring us out. If this is the way of the future we will not continue to shop here.

What every happen to " May I help you?".Lowes need to reevaluate their hiring and training policies. Ithaca staff is rude, not willing to assist , not knowledgeable about any product in thier section. Often walk the other way when you look like you may need assistance. If your a person of color. Forget about it, go to Home Depot. Smh

Very happy with their customer service. I would specially like to mention one of their employees named JP. He was extremely helpful in cutting glass pieces to the exact sizes I asked for. He listened very patiently and spent more than 25 mins with me getting me the exact size of glass pieces I wanted. Big shout-out to JP !

It's a nice store but they have cut employees and the new employees often provide incorrect information. I brought in my Troy-bilt manuals and only needed a spark plug. The employee sold me the wrong one and the day I went to Home Depot and purchased the correct one. And the staff were helpful and accurate.

I remember when you were in a section the people there could help you. Recently I was looking for a cotter pin and realized they didn't have the size I needed. An employee approached my daughter and I and instead of asking me if I was finding the part that I needed asked her if she was finding the part she needed. She's young it looked very confused. I found it very inappropriate as he asked her a couple more questions about the part we were looking for instead of conversing with myself who is actually looking for the part. I told my daughter to not interact with this person. He did direct me to another local store that would have the part. But there is no excuse for that behavior

The service at this store in Ithaca NY is truly abysmal. Every time I am in that store it is a battle to find anyone who “works in (any) department” for help. I build houses for a living and have bought from this store frequently. My last experience involved waiting for fifteen minutes to get a sheet of plywood ripped down on their panel saw. Three employees walked by ignoring me while the “customer assistance” bell rang over the intercom. I left for Home Depot where two employees approached me and asked if I needed anything. They helped me without running away. I’m taking my business elsewhere. The management at this store is an embarrassment.
