Best Health Food Market in the City Of Ithaca. You can find a lot of organic foods. The staff are fabulous. I have great conversations with them every time I load up my groceries. I highly recommend GreenStar to anyone who wants a healthy lifestyle.

Something is seriously wrong with the way they store berries. Yesterday was the 8th time I bought berries (blackberries) only to find that most of them were moldy. This problem occurs at both Greenstar locations in Ithaca. Both my husband and I have voiced this concern to Greenstar employees more than once. With the prices they have and the way they pride themselves in selling “fresh local produce”, this is a disgrace.

A great place for fruits (best bananas ever), vegetables (tomatoes), dairy products (local), bread (flex seeds) and grains (moong). Its not all cheap but its alright and the quality is simply unmatched even by Wegman's standards!

Today instead of going to wegmans for our picnic subs I opted for Green Star. It was a always a destination for me in its old location any time I traveled from Binghamton to Ithaca for a fun day. The two subs I got were absolutely top level. Fresh made batard and freshly sliced meats. These subs were so delicious. Thank you !

It's a bit overpriced but there are products there that can't be found in any other grocery stores in ithaca.Customer service is always great

just when I thought they couldn’t get any worse… they did!! Absolutely DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE MANAGER HERE!! they DO NOT care about you, they only care about becoming as corporate as possible and saving cents here and there by firing employees that have gotten too many raises. Crazy differences in expectation between departments. Its INSANE. Quality of shopping experience has DROPPED SIGNIFICANTLY since the grocery manager was hired (Boo Lyden!). Almost nothing on the shelves anytime I try to go shoppingYou’re better off shopping and working at wegmans tbh

Wow! The new store is absolutely beautiful. Well organized and fun to shop. Great selections of many organic healthies! The bulk offerings were truly amazing, with lots of things that were new to us. What an enjoyable adventure.

Quality products friendly service. Prices sometimes are higher but usually the products are better. Also some bargains can certainly be had.Most extensive stock of vegetarian friendly foods in the area but also quality meats for the omnivore.

If you've ever been to Fresh Market, its very much the same kind of store with even some cool stuff I've never seen out in the capital district. As expected the prices can be pretty steep which unfortunately is the cost of living healthy and sustainably.

In town briefly so it was first visit. Deceptively large store. Was only looking for bagels, at 4pm surprised at the small size of the bread section. If I lived in Ithaca I would give this grocery store a try. Veggie and fruit section selection looked very appealling.

The new store is nice. The meat counter is impressive. The produce section has much more space. The flow of the store allows for definite order to groceries and allows for the need to sometimes go back and get the thing you forgot.

Well, this place is a great find! It's a very well-stocked organic food retailer, with just about everything organic you could imagine. I'll admit to being pretty much of an organic newbie, but I was very impressed, and found myself fascinated by a whole range of organic products I would never have imagined. Another one of those places with that very positive tolerant Cornell vibe that you seem to feel through so much of Ithaca.I'm straight, but my wife and I are always encouraged to see a place that's overtly LGBTQ positive.

Very expensive but with the membership & the flower program it makes it more affordable. Love the little play area in the back. The food they make to order is delicious. Staff is usually nice & helpful

I am impressed with the sense of order, peacefulness. The expanded well designed space allows for a comforting, calming pace. The protocols initiated for cleanliness gives me confidence of safety. This is my 1st visit to the new store. I am now assured I can resume my independence and shop for my own groceries. Thank you!

Always smells great in here! I love their food bar, their tofu is delicious, and I don't even eat much tofu. I love their bulk herb and tea selections. That's mainly what I go there for. Their specialty beers are nifty too.

Great alternative to chain grocery stores. They have a good selection of organic and natural foods. I don't really understand the while co op thing, but it works pretty seem less to consumers. I walked in while visiting Ithaca for a weekend and found everything I usually shop for at a good price. They have everything you would find at other grocery, and more geared towards us health conscious, gluten free, dairy free, vegan customers alike.

Absolutely awesome place to shop for food, my favorite in all of Ithaca. It has delicious food with lots of vegan vegetarian and gluten free options. There's a big focus on local foods which I'm totally here for. I can't recommend GreenStar enough!

Pricing a little high for in season fruits and vegetables. New store is bright, airy and clean with nice displays but, not as warm and friendly an atmosphere. This is probably due to COVID restrictions. But still one of my favorite places.
