A great place. They have everything you could want here. Instead of fast food come here. You won't wait long, you'll have better quality food. Plus they have ready made meals you can buy and heat up. Highly recommend. Oh I had the round house bagel sandwich definitely a NYC rival.Parking: Huge parking lot. Parking is not an issue here.Kid-friendliness: Low key fun atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty easy for wheelchairs to get in.

CTB has consistently mediocre food but they have a wide selection and great service. I have been unimpressed with the portioning in their salads/bowls before (there is often way too much lettuce/grain base for the amount of toppings) but tried the build your own option today and was particularly disappointed by the amount of chicken. I know prices are going up but $3 for 1 ounce of chicken seems a bit extreme to me.

Want to pretend like you're in the 80's with a dial-up modem that only connects some of the times? Come to CTB!Seriously: in modern times, wireless is an important service provided by coffee shops. People come to have a coffee and get a little work done. You cannot do that here.They have clearly made a deliberate choice not to pay for decent wireless service that is available at every other cafe, because this is a problem at all of their locations. In fact, at the college town location, their customers are using Cornell wireless when possible, which is quite dishonest.They **nominally** have wireless, but as a former regular customer, I can honestly say that it will only connect about half the time, and of that, only connects with a fast enough speed to display a basic web page about half the time.

Nice cozy place with friendly staff, but the actual food fell short for me. I got a Varna's Vegan Sandwich and a Coconut Cake Slice. The sandwich was just okay - the tempeh was good, but otherwise it was just a little plain - it really needed some sort of spread to tie things together - and the bread could have been packaged grocery store bread. The cake was stale, with hard, flavourless frosting. The drink I had (a turmeric steamer) was good though - too sweet for my taste, but less powdery then other turmeric drinks I've had. The concept of the shop appeals to me and I'm interested in their large menu, so I would go back to give them a second chance and try some different things, but if I had the same experience a second time I wouldn't return.

I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately I've had previous poor experiences at this location. Waiting 10 minutes for a latte is not ideal but this latte I ordered was a specialty one named Central Perk ($6.25+tax) so I figured it takes a little longer to make. Understandable. However, when I went to take a sip, I could immediately taste the burnt milk flavor from the over processed milk in my latte. No foam on top, very unpleasant burnt flavor which is unfortunate as they latte could have a lot of potential if made properly.

Came in at 10:30am on a Wednesday. Waited 15 min for my order of two toasted bagels with cream cheese and strawberry jam. Bagels were not toasted, 2” thick layer of cream cheese, and some jelly tossed on as an after thought. Worst of all- the jelly smelled and tasted like it had gone bad- fermented.Not a good experience.

Consistently disappointing. So much potential to be a great bagel spot/deli. Love the online ordering. Consistently poor execution.You can order the same thing here on 5 different days and get it made 5 different ways.Sometimes the place runs like a well oiled machine and the food is delicious. Other times they're understaffed and the team will have a stress/screaming reaction to the mildest inconvenience.Sometimes the food is fresh and tasty and totally worth it. Othertimes you'll pay $12 for a breakfast sandwich that you could break glass with. Ask the staff to remake a poor quality item and you'll see the tie dye on their shirt start to spin and smoke.Really wanted to love CTB. I've ordered here 43 times according to my account. Talk about a love/hate.

Friendly service & Clean Environment. There are alot options on the menu, they also have vegetarian & vegan options!I've been here twice & I've ordered the same thing twice, roundhouse bagel breakfast sandwhich.I noticed my first time having the sandwhich the bacon looked & tasted undercooked. The sandwhich was still very delicious but I made sure that for my second trip I'd order the same thing again but ask for crispy bacon..Today I ordered and asked that the bacon be made cripsy but it still looked undercooked.. & so did the sausage.I was honestly very annoyed but hungry so ate the breakfast sandwich anyways. I was a bit disappointed.I would come back and try something different though!

For what it is CTB is good. I do get somewhat frustrated when I ask for actual shots to be pulled for an iced latte and tip a lot as I know I’m asking for more only to be ignored. The cold espresso shots they have sitting around just aren’t good. I get it takes extra time as I too am service industry just a bummer.

I had such high hopes for this place, but my experience was disappointing. The positives were lots of seating and good music. Sadly, the negatives were the food and service. We ordered the vegetarian bagel melt on a rosemary sea salt bagel and the Viva Chelsea sandwhich. The sandwhich was made incorrectly and the staff was not very nice about supplying the missing component. Both meals were extremely greasy (I never thought I'd be the person blotting the oil off their lunch with a napkin until today...) and bland. Maybe the other locations or menu items are better, but I don't think I'll be back.

Meh bagels, bad atmosphereThis was my 2nd visit to CTB. The bagels are not true New York bagels. They lack bulk, proper seasoning, and flakiness. Honestly they are on par with grocery store bagels. I got an espresso which was pretty good (a bit acidic) but came in a paper cup despite being for in house. They have nothing put single use so don't expect a coffehouse experience.I came in to do some work on my laptop. Glad I brought my headphones because they were playing pop country. There's just one reason you don't see many students in this place.It's a shame because this is minutes from my house but from now on I will be traveling farther for a better spot and better food. When the quality is below Starbucks, you know a place is skippable.

When we visit family in Ithaca every year we come here 3-4 times. Huge selection. Very consistent food. The coffee is enjoyable. Pastries are very good too.This location is pretty clean and somewhat efficient. The ordering system is outdated and a bit cumbersome, but the employees are quick and efficient.Here is my knock: the ventilation here is absolutely terrible, it is honestly a complete joke. At any given time you walk into this place you will be welcomed by a smoky interior. Your clothes smell like the place when you leave.Please please invest in some real ventilation it is almost unbearable.

Really, really hot coffee, great choices for breakfast!! Ordering was easy and quick. Paying at the desk seemed a little cumbersome, cashiers are easily overwhelmed with crowds. Food delivery to tables was an interesting experience. Overall a good vibe for the place and would come back again.

This is my go-to when I'm feeling lazy or under the weather. I would call it a step up from McDonald's or Dunkin...but you pay for it. The prices are high for the quality/portion of the food received. Orders sometime take forever to come out at this branch, so I have resorted to ordering ahead and not having to worry about it. Food item diversity is good but not always well executed-I have had bacon on sandwiches ranging from borderline raw to blackened to the point of acridness. Staff is generally helpful and courteous. Place is clean and accommodating.

It's decent and the bagels always taste fresh. The salad bar usually looks a little tired and I usually have to pick through things that are going bad. The coffee is unremarkable and sometimes tastes burnt. I'd say if you're going for baked goods you'll do fine.The staff can be surly and service is frequently slow. The last time I was in, they were wrangling with their POS terminals something fierce. It looked like they were typing in a small novel every time they rang someone up. Maybe they need more training.You need to do a bit better having DD across the street competing for breakfast and coffee patrons

Nice selection of great things to eat. I got a pretty basic turkey sandwich which was very filling and delicious for lunch. Prices are very reasonable and there was both indoor and outdoor seating. I will go back as my wife and I both had a great lunch.

My sandwich was cold when it was supposed to be hot, didn't even have all the toppings I asked for and tasted old w. My mom got a $11 sandwich and asked for extra avocado and tomato but there was barely any avocado to speak of. The manager was told this but he never did anything about it . My cousin got a coffee that wasn't made right. The employees were not friendly. Each and every time I have gone there the experience was bad. I'm a regular customer to another CTB, the customer service, and experience there is 10 times better. I strongly recommend NOT going to this CTB.
