Never get an order for pick up here. You’ll get a text saying it’s ready for pick up, but expect to wait at least 30 minutes. I have no idea what takes them so long to do simple tasks.

Tough call. I used to feel completely confident with the B.B. in Ithaca. Sadly, my confidence level has been dropping. Seems like more and more floor people are not as well trained as in the past. In fact, I need to go tomorrow to get some assistance (?) with something that was not correctly done recently. Hate to say it, but if this issue is not resolved efficiently, I will be forced to move on. P.S. The workers have ALWAYS been friendly!

I’ve been reading through reviews. The people who leave 5 star reviews saying that they experienced “great service” can you please verify that you selected the correct Best Buy that you visited? I’ve been to the Best Buy in Ithaca many times, they don’t care about customer service—that’s very clearly seen. You’re there to buy something and leave and hopefully not come back for a long time. Employees also look unhappy, I feel bad for them.

I come to the store to buy a specific item. Trying to get an employee to make a sale is like pulling teeth. It also says on the website that things are in stock but when you get to the store it's no where to be seen. Ill take my money elsewhere with no problem at all

If I could do 0 stars I would we came to get my daughter a new phone and the girl we dealt with when we got here wasn't terrible but she had to leave for the day and we were completely ignored and sat there for over an hour and ended up figuring out how to finish the transfer ourselves even though we were told another associate would be with us but they just kept walking by very unprofessional would never recommend this best buy to anyone when my wife and I got ours in the elmira store they were great and walked us through everything we needed the only reason we came to this one is because the bigflatts store did have any at this time next time we will wait for the other store

Went on a Monday at 2 p.m. My coffee cup rim was not cleaned well as I noted the taste of sugar in my black coffee before I noticed the rim was dirty. I know, yuk. But the waitress quickly corrected. We just had soup to tide us over. French onion soup was good, so was Italian wedding. Stuff happens, I get it, but just ok. I would try again at either breakfast or lunch, not at an in-between time.

Dropped off my computer for the screen to be fixed. Charged me 100, notified me a week later that device was ready for pickup. When i picked it up, it wasn’t fixed because they needed additional parts. They then charged me 35 more dollars for doing absolutely nothing

Quick trip in & out. I stopped in to find a tablet case. I was better off going anywhere else. Staff were unhelpful, as I entered from Mall side, they were seen walking aimlessly thru the store like homeless people trying to keep warm. Many of the shelves were BARE. Even the TV area I found to be unorganized & uninviting with cables showing and many TVs not even turned on.It's sad that a once premier electronic store has turned into this mishmosh. Some of us loyal consumers haven't given up on you BestBuy, but after visiting this store it appears that BestBuy has about given up on itself.

I drove nearly two hours to get a protective Samsung Flip case for my Samsung Tablet as the other Best Buy near me was out. I used Curbside Pickup through the app. Pickup was seamless! Quick, efficient, and prompt! I highly recommend it if you do not like going into any shoppes(stores,) etc.

Very pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Plenty of products in stock. While they were tidying the shelves, an employee approached me to see if I needed any help. Nearby, an employee was taking a good deal of time helping a customer make an informed decision. As I was checking out, another employee checked on the terms of a warranty with the checkout person to make sure their customer understood their next steps. Online shopping is great, but this experience is why I am grateful to be able to shop in a brick and mortar building.

I was very pleased with the service I received, once I finally had an associate help look for the TV I wanted. I was patient as I could see that all staff were engaged with customers. After waiting approximately 20 minutes, a staff and 2 other staff attempted to find the TV for another 15 minutes. They were unsuccessful but after spending time to explain and show me a few others that were comparable or better, I purchased one that was a lot better for just a few dollars more. All total I was in the store for about 1 1/2 hours, But I was very happy with the service and the product I received! Good job guys😊

Last two items I got from there broke after about a month and are not returnable. Their quality of items are going downhill. I also got a TV from there 3 years ago and it's already having trouble freezing constantly. Every other TV I have ever had worked fine for many years beyond that. It was a $1000 TV too.

Several Geek Squad associates helped with a computer issue that I could not resolve. It was both hardware and software related. They did need a couple of days of installation of hardware and testing of the system. Overall, they did do a good job.

The purchase part of our experience was very troubling. The delivery and installation was excellent. Be aware of inexperienced sales people and confusing delivery/installation pricing. The sales experience works best at Best Buy if you do your research and know what you want before you go in. Our salesman knew nothing about refrigerators. We bought the refrigerator we had researched and talked at length with our salesman explaining that we needed the refrigerator brought into the house and put in place but did not want the water/ice machine hookup. He told us we would not have to pay the $24.99 installation fee and said he made note of that on the sales record. The day of delivery the delivery guy calls and says there is nothing on record saying the refrigerator is to be installed, only to be delivered to porch or garage, but he wanted to make sure of our needs. He said we would have to pay the additional fee to have the refrigerator brought into the house even though our receipt says DELIVERY GKINSTALL BUNDLE on it. Store supervisor Sabrina Martin, who contacted me via email about other mistakes on their end at point of sale, also says we have to pay the delivery fee since the "notes" from the salesman were vague. The redeeming factor in this case is that the delivery and install by Wyldon and Mike of the Geek Squad was extremely courteous and professional. So, one star for sales and five stars for the delivery/install guys.

I decided to come in and take advantage of the Black Friday sale since I needed a new pair of headphones. They didn't have the one in stock that I looked at online before I came in, oddly, but I managed to find a similar pair which works well. The employee was helpful, checkout didn't take long.

I love Best Buy and had another excellent experience at this location. I came in looking for a larger TV than the one I had recently purchased. I worked with the general manager Jose and he was amazing. He asked me many questions about what I would use the TV for (night time vs. day time, cable vs. streaming, etc. etc.). He explained processor speed and the different types of screen/panel technology - all of which I had no idea about prior to coming in. I really felt he was focused on getting me the best deal possible and a product I would be happy to have for years to come. I gave him an upward limit of what I was willing to spend and he stayed within my budget which was very appreciated with all the expenses of moving to a new city. At checkout I mentioned a surge protector I was looking at on Amazon and he found a similar product for me which he price matched. I could not be happier with my new TV and this is why I have no interest buying electronics anywhere else - you truly get the best deal at Best Buy. Thank you Jose and the other Best Buy team members who helped me that day!
