Great selection of essentials and some really cool outdoor decor. We have always had a great experience but today, we were so happy with the amazing customer service from the lady working in the paint section (short salt and pepper hair with glasses). She immediately asked us if we needed help and gave us some great suggestions on a good paint for our deck. She continued to go above and beyond by getting us the color we wanted even though it wasn't agreeing with the system. She showed us a sample of what it would look like and apologized for the wait even though no apologies were necessary. This is the type of customer service you do not typically get at the bigger hardware stores. She is an all star and I hope she gets recognized.Thank you so much!

cashier made me feel like a terrible person for getting more than one item and actually having to do her job, sighing everytime she scans something. hits me with a “is that finally everything” at the end and is telling the next customers sorry for the wait so i could hear. don’t understand the hostility but she was obviously having a bad day.

I looked all over town for the right color of paintfor my house, and the paint department staff member at Agway was amazing! She helped me out with ideas and steered me in the right direction when I chose a color that was too light for the deck stain. It was an great experience, and I always get excellent help there!

I went in there to buy boots for work, the man that assisted me was great (sorry I'm horrible with names). He was quick, helpful and not pushy at all. Every employee as I walked in looked up and greeted me with a smile. I'll definitely be going back! Thank you Tru Value employees for still having a focus on customer service!

I went into the store needing help with my home paint job problem and Brianna was AWESOME at helping me and giving me excellent advice!! I want to give her a huge shout-out and THANK YOU! Her suggestion to use Benjamin Moore "Fresh Start High Hiding All Purpose" Primer worked excellent for my "flashing" problem of spackling-and-paint-job gone wrong, I was astounded at the end results....all fixed and beautiful!!!! Worth every single cent and I will never, EVER do another paint job without this product first!!!! Thanks, BRIANNA!!!! Outstanding customer service, knowledgeable, patient, friendly.....great job!

I shop at Agway True Value Northeast for all my paints and related supplies. They have the best paint in Ithaca and excellent customer service. You can tell this is the place to buy paint as it's the choice of professional house painters. The staff are very knowledgeable and will take the time to answer your questions and make suggestions. They pride themselves on their professionalism, customer service, and they really know paint! If you have a painting project, don't waste your time elsewhere. Agway True Value Northeast is the perfect paint store!

Good store with good stock and helpful floor staff. Checking out usually takes a while because their registers seem to take forever to process cards. They always ask if I have a loyalty card of some kind but never offer to sign me up for one and I can't find any way to do it, so a bit annoying.

We just went in to browse. But they have all the kinds of stuff I like. Boots, gloves, work wear, insulated bibs, Stihl chainsaws, grills, hardware, tools, wood pellets, knick knacks, men's, women's, kids. I'll have to go back after Christmas and buy presents for myself. Driving through Ithaca is often a slow go, so I often choose where I shop just based on not having to go through town. So Agway True Value is convenient for me. But more importantly, when I have questions (which is often) I find more expertise here than at the big box stores on the other side of town. Friendly, helpful employees.

Employees won’t wear masks and become angry and defensive when you ask them to put one on. Not requiring customers to wear masks either, despite the rapid spread of COVID in our community at the moment. Spoke with several employees all whom were either aggressive or apathetic.

I come here for my cat food and litter needs, as it's one of the only places in the Ithaca area to get large bags of high protein cat food as well as World's Best Cat Litter. They also have a nice selection of gardening supplies and hardware. Overall, the store feels much more personal and less like a big box corporate stores when compared to a place like Lowes or Home Depot.

Went to go grab a Weber Charcoal Grill and a gentleman named Todd immediately spotted me, asked if I needed help and politely walked me through the features of the grill, what else I need to make it operate etc... He was there every step of the way and even helped me load it into my vehicle because I would have struggled otherwise. The world needs more employees like him. Thank you Todd!
