Very nice cafe style eatery serving good breakfast sandwiches and local coffee. They offer lunch and dinner too. There's also an ice cream island, and some groceries. There's a view of the Thousand islands park, and it's next to a hotel. It's all close to Wellesley island state campground. Try it for yourself!

Having 5 children is tough when going out to eat. You have to find a place that everyone will like and is not going to break the bank. Guzzle not only hit the spot, but it knocked it out of the park for us. The restaurant was very clean, the food was made well and quickly, and they were set up great for any size family. Their upstairs balcony seating was great with a game room detached that included a meager selection of awesome games, darts, and yes a pool table. Downstairs they offered Hersheys Icecream and a full assortment of Candy. So we ate inside and then after getting desert went outside so we wouldn't feel bad if the icecream dripped all over. The verdict...we loved it and will definitely return.

New owners are doing a wonderful job with this place! They have harnessed the original spirit of The Guzzle completely: as a penny-candy kids' paradise where the whole family can enjoy the space (check out the upstairs). They have immensely improved the menu and have totally reasonable prices (especially as one of the only eateries on the island, where it's easy to take advantage). (Ex: $2-3 for a coffee, $6-8 for breakfast, $10-15 for lunch.) Both the Yacht Club sandwich and the burger were great. Haven't tried any of the vegan/vegetarian or gluten free options but there are plenty. The Guzzle has literally never been better. We are so thrilled! Keep up the good work!Dietary restrictions: New owners are very good about inclusivity. There are vegan and gluten free options all over the menuKid-friendliness: This place was originally a kid haven. The 2023 owners have brought it back to life and honored that spirit

This is a great little place near the waterfront. We stopped by coming back from Canada. The food was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating of my son with a dairy allergy. Will definitely visit when in the area again.

Came on Sunday morning when their hours did they were open and the doors were locked and no one was there. For a place that advertises as having breakfast they aren’t even open for it. Update your posted hours so people don’t waste their time or get their hopes up

Came to get Ice Cream on a Thursday evening at 7 pm..... So disappointing that they were closed. It's the middle of August why would you not be open till late? It's the only place on the island for this. It seems like such a missed opportunity to encourage faithful customers. Looks like my business goes elsewhere.

Had to return my meal twice: first time was incomplete (no chips), second time hamburger was not cooked; completely raw inside. All kids working and they have no clue what they are doing. Hopefully they don’t screw up the ice cream.

The Guzzle this year is horrible. It’s under new management who don’t seem to care. We went in for dinner at 5pm & should have taken the hint that the place was empty of customers for a reason. The tables were dirty, drinks spilled on chairs, & broken glass on the floor. The menu now is basically hot dogs & burgers. The prices are outrageous for counter service & very small portions. The health department needs to be called to shut it down for the rest of the season!2017 management ran the place so well & had a great menu at good prices. It would be nice if they could come back for 2019!

Great food, friendly staff, family-friendly atmosphere...this is a great place to go to grab a quick dinner, or to hang out for awhile and chat with the locals and others who are just passing through. I had the California Burger, and it was delicious. The prices are fair, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience, or anyone looking to grab a yummy ice cream cone.

Stopped by for lunch while in the area. We loved the outdoor seating with views of the park and water. My burger was fresh and full of flavor with crisp bacon. We would definitely stop by if our travel take us here again.

Burgers were great and the onion rings just right. The servers are so sweet. Too full for ice cream but will certainly be back again soon. I'm so glad we can carry on our traditional ice cream walks down to the dock while the little ones play on the playground.

This place was the only place to eat on a Wednesday night on Wellesley island so it definitely found a need and serves that niche well. The building is absolutely gorgeous, with two floors and a wrap around porch, there is plenty of seating. The food was good, I found the prices quite a bit too high considering the portion size and quality buuuut I suppose they know there aren’t many other choices around and that it’s generally a wealthy area so they can get away with hiking prices up. There are a few arcade type games upstairs. There are also couches upstairs and shelves with board games, puzzles, and card games available for people to play. I thought that was genius and really my favorite part of their establishment, I think it’s be great if they expanded that section a bit but I’m definitely pleased with what they had, no one hovers over you and they make you feel welcome to linger. The bathrooms were nice. Kid friendly but still a place thAt adults will enjoy as Well.

Did a thing today, my family and I decided to head up north to the thousand islands and check out the scenery. Of course we got a little hungry so we found this spot Called the Guzzle. The menu was tasteful just reading it. Anyways let’s get down to it my wife or the fish tacos OMG she’s was In heaven let me tell u. I had a little taste and she wasn’t lying. The crispness of the fish and the taste of how the cook put it all together was on point. 2 thumbs up! Myself had the Mushroom and Swiss Burger oooh wee first the burger was cooked just right, the cheese laid on top, then the mushrooms took over and made that bad boy melt in my mouth. Yummy for my tummy. Didn’t know places like this were up here. Definitely coming back for some family time and some good eating from the Guzzle. Oh yeah forgot to mentions those chicken fingers were freaking awesome! Thanks again

We went here to get some ice cream after a long walk at the nature trail. My sister in law has some health concerns that sometimes make for an urgent need to use the restroom. We were told the "bathrooms were not available to the public but there ice cream was real good.". No thank you. We never tried the ice cream... It was just Perry's ice cream you can get at the grocery store anyway. My wife spoke to the manager and tried to explain. The manager just said he did nothing wrong and that the bathrooms were only available to paying customers. Why do you think we were there? Not very welcoming at all.

They really did an amazing job rebuilding this place after the fire. Food, including all day breakfast is great weather you’re looking for a quick bite or sit down meal. The ice cream and candy selection is also excellent.

L@@K !!!TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!we are long time customers of the guzzle , the new management is very poor . Service was terrible felt like the kids working there hated us every time we walked in . Please bring back the old guzzle management . But that's not the worst part my son and nephew were overcharged many times till their big sisters caught on , to give an example my son 10 years old was charged 10 dollars for 2 small Gatorades , 2 dollars for a ring pop that should be 50 cents what a shame. We are so disappointed the guzzle has always been a special place to us however now it's just not the same, its junk service and employees ripping off children is too much , we do not reccomend this establishment .Any of the good reviews are likely from past seasons 1 star is too much but it's the least I can choose .

The new Guzzle is EXACTLY what the community needed! Not only is it a fantastic building the lends nostalgia to the old Guzzle, it adds modern twists that are warm and inviting. The operators are charming and friendly, and their daughter is an absolutely adorable delight. They have a delicious menu (the California Burger and Saturday night Ribs are out of this world) wonderful ice cream selection, and the staff is attentive and curteous. Will definitely be becoming a 'regular'!

Two of us came for breakfast on a Sunday. We walked in the door, nobody acknowledged or greeted us. We eventually seated ourselves, and still nobody came over to our table. We waited at least 5 minutes for someone to come and talk to us (the lead server asked the other server multiple times if we’d been helped, instead she went and talked to people who already had their food). Once we got to ordering, we found out that the menu was only on the chalkboard since the place has recently opened. That is understandable, however not telling us that it’s the only place to view the menu is not. After looking at the menu and asking some questions, the hostess didn’t even know some of the items. The food took a while to come out (meanwhile, a table of 6 that ordered when we originally came inside had already gotten their food and finished before we even ordered). They claimed the delay was due to a couple large groups, although they had ordered well before us. The place was about half full. There were multiple instances where a group would receive their food and not have silverware on the table. Another instance of someone’s food going to the wrong table. The food overall was good quality and value (although I don’t understand paying an extra $3 for one egg on the side). There was a clear lack of organization and communication outside in the dining area though. I can understand a couple of these situations occurring, especially for a newly opened establishment. A lot of these things can be prevented though, and hopefully they can improve.

Good food; pleasant situation; right price point. But poor management resulting in too few staff. And very poor public relations: when one writes to point out the staffing shortages and the wait times -- an hour for two salads -- one does not expect to get back a lecture on how well run the place is. It'll be a great spot once it's better organized. Growing pains....!
