Love, love, LOVE Lively Run! Life is just so much happier with a CHEESE FLIGHT!!! ALL of the cheeses were amazing. It was hard to pick which were our favorites. The feta is out of this world. Lovely little gift shop with charcuterie choices- a lot to come home with. And a visit with the adorable goats topped it all off! Thank you for a lovely visit!

We LOVE Lively Run Goat Dairy. This is our second year coming for the cheese flight and petting all the babies. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. The cheese is so amazing that I loved types of cheese that I typically avoid! Seriously, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Don't forget to snag a bag (or two) of goat feed!Bonus: they will ship cheese to you. So if you're not local (like us) you can still get your cheese fix!

Lovely and cute place to stretch your legs and meet some goats.Goat food is available for $3 a bag inside the shop. Great cheese selections as well as other goat-related products.

We tried their cheese at a winery nearby and loved it, so we came to buy some. To our surprise, the store had more than just cheese. The goat cheese cheesecake was both interesting and very tasty.Bonus: you can buy some corn pellets to feed their goats!

Cute place, love the cheese tasting platter. Cheese is a bit high for our liking in price but understandable with it being goat cheese. We went when there was cider, bbq, and shearing. Vinny is lovable and very talkative (he’s the black and white one).

Awesome place, very friendly staff, the best cheeses in the area, including both goat and cow varieties. They also sell other condiments (jams, mustards, etc) that pair well with their cheeses. Can't recommend them highly enough! Extremely family-friendly, and you can even pet/feed goats!

My first ever trip to Lively Run was last Saturday and it most certainly will not be my last!! This place is, without a doubt, a must go.Baby goats (that you can PET), livestock that is sociable and friendly (yes even the rooster didn't mind me snapping an upclose pic), incredibly friendly staff on site, owners who live the business, and the BEST fresh, local cheeses in all of the FLX!!Did a cheese board tasting, and EVERYTHING was amazing. As in, each next bite was better than the previous. The 1 year cheddar was likely my favorite of the non-soft cheeses. The habanero sauce (if you like life with a little spice) will knock your socks off!!!Go, try the cheeses, buy the cheeses!! Pet the goats... feed the goats... and enjoy the slower pace, the peace and the quiet found only in the country!

Best experience EVER!!! This goat cheese was truly epic and had incredible taste and flavor. The women assisting us with our tasting was so kind and helpful. We feed the goats after and they were so sweet and cute. I would highly recommend this space to anyone!!

Great little cheese shop. Tried the special cheese tray with add-ons. This is a terrific way to taste all of items that they sell. We chose several wonderful selections. We even got to see the goats (a lot of fun).

The goats are amazing and I highly recommend getting some feed if you have children. The workers are extremely nice and make you feel very welcome. I liked most of the cheese but if you don't like blue do not try the first blue cheese on the cows side. Although the goat blue cheese was 🏻 perfect. Highly recommend stopping here in between winery's.

Lively Run Goat Dairy is on my yearly list for places to stop. They have several varieties of goat and cow cheese. They also have their barn open to see the different goats. Try out their cheese sampler. It's well worth it.

The most wonderful day I have had in a long time! The woman who was working the counter was so lovely and informative, the cheese samples were INCREDIBLE, and the goats brought me so much joy. Definitely make a point to stop here if you are in the finger lakes, I promise you won’t regret it.

They have delicious goat cheese and goat cheesecake for sale here. You can also purchase a bag of corn to feed their goats.

Love this place! The goat cheese is wonderful and the staff friendly and helpful. It was one of our favorite stops on a bike tour through the Finger Lakes.

We sampled Lively Run goat dairy with their goat cheeses today. This was our second visit to their Dairy in several years . A wide range of varieties and quality cheeses. The host/ owner was very kind. The cheeses were on par for pricing given their quality. Their collection of goats we're hysterical and a wide range of Ages. They had one baby goat nickname Houdini who kept popping out amongst the people through the feeder troughs. A worthwhile stop if you're in the area.

I love lively run! Their cheeses are great and the environment is fun. Stop in and see the animals then do a cheese tasting. They have lots of options and give good enough sized samples you can share with another person. The deluxe has pairings of sauces, meats, jams etc to go with the delicious cheeses.

The goats are amazing and worth the trip if you always wanted a personal experience with a goat. The cheese is decent and the atmosphere is pleasant. I bought the deluxe tasting but I ended up not using the sample sauces. Toothpicks were given to taste the cheese which made using the sauce impossible.

Stopped at Lively Run during a girls trip this past weekend, and had such a great time! The area is so peaceful and my friends and I enjoyed feeding the goats. The deluxe cheese sampler is DELICIOUS and very affordable.

Get a cheese board to try. Staff is very knowledgeable about the varieties. Visit the goats and bring along a bag of corn from the gift shop. They love to be treated! Finally, bring an insulated bag to put the cheese in that you will need to buy. (Note: Not a want to buy, you will need to take some home)

This was probably the highlight of our ‘wine tasting’ afternoon, even though it didn’t include wine! We had such a fun time doing a tasting of both cow and goat cheeses! They were all terrific! The best part though was buying a bag of feed and feeding the goats (baby ones too)! It was a great way to finish the day!

We love visiting Susan and the kids when we visit our family in Seneca Falls. She is always so kind and knowledgeable and hanging out with the goats is very fun for human kids (and adults!) The cheese is lovely, the tasting very generous and a nice way to spend the afternoon. Bottle feeding in the late spring and summer is a real treat!

My wife and I visited this past weekend, and we had a real nice time. We wanted to bottle-feed the kids, but apparently there are reserved times for this, and I guess it was my fault for not finding this out ahead of time. But we were able to get hard corn pieces to feed the goats in the barn, which was fun to do, and with a coupon in a tourist magazine, we were able to get a free tasting of the goat and cow cheeses. The experience was fun and I would recommend it.

I stopped here on a little tour of the nearby wineries. I don't care for goat cheese and admitted so to the owners. My companion loves goat cheese. We tried a tasting board of different cheeses, which was fun to sample. We both found cheeses we liked. We bought cheese, brambleberry jelly and orange blossom honey. It was busy when we stopped, on a busy end of fall weekend, but worth the short wait in line. There are goats to pet and feed! We'll be back!

We had SUCH a nice time at the farm today. The grounds are welcoming and it’s a very calming and welcoming environment. Hubby and I were very excited to get the cheese tasting platter and we picked up a small cheese cake too. While the cheeses were DELICIOUS, we weren’t certain which were which because the tasting sheet didn’t match what was on the platter. If it had, we likely would have spent much more in the little store. The cheesecake was out of this world! Better than a slice of Juniors from NYC!Lots of potential for big growth from this lovely family farm. Thank you for a beautiful day.

Great place to stop between wineries and cider houses. The cheese tastings were ample so we turned it into a picnic with some wine and snacks we had in the car. Recommend you do the same, and allow some extra time in case there's a crowd. Goats were cute, too.

Visiting family enjoyed a memorable opportunity to feed and play with baby goats. A unique and wonderful experience! The cheese shop offered some great selections for our road trip adventure 🚙

We visited during Farm Days and got to meet some newborn kids. Lots of fun! The cheese plate was also great (wish we'd had a bottle of wine, too!), and we took some cheeses home. I made an awesome grilled peach and arugula salad with the goat blue cheese--highly recommend! We just brought back some ice wine that also pairs nicely with blue cheese. Glad we found a local dairy to buy from!

We drove 30 mins to this location as the reviews were good and was recommended by a local business. Do not waste your money on the tour. Paid $9 per adult to watch a video and a small cheese tasting at the end... they only had a few goats and that is all you get to see as the “farm tour”. Very disappointing! Nice selection of tasty cheeses on the other hand. On the website it said cheese tasting was paired with local jellies and bread/crackers, but only got a handful of crackers and a teaspoon of honey? Really! I am giving it 2 stars as they have a good selection of tasty cheeses. We Went to Sunset View creamery today, and what a different story! Free self guided tours of a real working farm, extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff and FREE cheese tasting paired with jellies, olives, crackers and bread.
