Been coming here since I was a kid. They have the best donuts and baked goods I’ve ever had. I’m 3 hours away from the Adirondacks and make the drive just for this bakery. I highly recommend the cream cheese danish and the cinnamon sugar donut but everything is absolutely amazing. I always leave with more than 2 dozen donuts. Absolutely love this place and hope you guys do too!!

Some of the best donuts I’ve had but we waited 45 minutes to get them in a line with only 15 people in front of us. They had one guy serving and cashing people out at the same time. God forbid someone in front of you wants toasted bagels with cream cheese and/or coffees. Very inefficient system and prices are a bit high. We’re still going to get donuts here but there is no reason for a place like this to sell anything but boxed pasty items to go and maybe basic hot coffee. Boston crème style donut had the best custard I’ve ever had. Lemon and jelly filling were also among the best. Service while slow was super friendly.

Mary’s is worth waiting in line every time. Such a great selection of cookies, pies, and donuts. The Apple cider donuts are to die for. I always make sure I stop by multiple times when I am in the area!

Mary’s is the best! Never disappointed- we always visit for the eclairs - the homemade custard is what makes them the only donut I like. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Makes it worth the trip to Inlet.

Their custard filled donuts are beyond amazing. The custard isn't sickly sweet, but refreshing and can now see why they sell it separately in a cup too. This place is definitely worth waiting in line for.

Donuts are the best in the area - but pretty overpriced. No prices shown so we were shocked to pay $12.50 for 4 donuts. Staff wasn’t very friendly and neither are the “no outside beverages” signs that are all over the place.

This hidden gem is the best stop you'll make in Inlet. The pastries are reasonably priced. You can find specialties like the eclair donut, fresh baked bread that makes excellent toast, scones, and turnovers. The staff and bakers are always friendly. Stop in before November 1st or you'll have to wait until May to enjoy these delectable years.

Me and my family have gone to Mary’s for over 5 years now, and they are awesome! We walk down every day we are up there. The donuts are worth the long lines on the holidays. Feel free to try their cupcakes because they are so underrated!

These are the best donuts. I'm genuinely jealous of the residents of Inlet that they have this shop in their town. Every town needs a donut shop this good. This place is packed on the weekend during tourist season, but we stopped in on a Monday morning and no other customers were there. Totally shocked to see a whole shop full of fresh donuts and pastries of every variety. I just assumed we'd be getting the weekend's leftovers. Nope. Fresh from the oven that morning. Did I mention these were the most amazing donuts? The glazes were thick and perfectly balanced. The donut had such a great flavor. I live in PA and just dreaming about the day we get back up there. Residents of Inlet, you are so darn lucky.

Stopped in on a whim looking for something for my sweet tooth as someone who is allergic to chocolate its usually hard to find, They filled me a Bavarian cream with white frosting and it was the best!!! Very sweet and kind and the cream filling was amazing!!!

Delicious and truly homemade baked goods. They even make their own Bavarian cream for the Boston creams, which are amazing and heavy!! Kind of upset I didn't go to this place sooner during my trips to the area. To think of all the raspberry filled cookies, maple doughnuts, and bagels I missed out on. The store attached is fun too.

I highly recommend the half moon donut! So delicious. I typically do not eat donuts, but we got a voucher and tried this place out. So Good! Def stop. It’s worth the wait in line. We will be stopping here again during our next trip!

We've always had a good experience here, and the guy with the beard is always super friendly. Unfortunately the most recent visit wasn't quite as pleasant. The young woman working seemed rude and unfriendly, and very unlike the typical welcoming manner of the place. She definitely overcharged us (like $45 for two and a half dozen!) And just seemed to be making up a price to get done faster. Donuts were still great, though.

This is the best bakery around for miles! Get there early because the line is out the door and usually is near the bookstore. The prices are so reasonable and the staff there is so entertaining and friendly. Every single person that walks through the door the guy behind the counter says good morning to. The donuts are to die for. They are so fresh. There is a wide variety as well.

Wonderful donuts and fried cakes (which look like donuts, but are a bit denser due to lack of yeast)! Went there around noon on a Sunday - had plenty left but was clear they had a lot more for sale earlier in the day - definitely going to try to get there earlier in the day next time!

Absolutely my favorite bakery anywhere! I have been visiting this place since I was a child and it hasn't changed a bit, I'm not even sure the prices have changed! You definitely get more than you pay for, and everything is delicious! The staff and owners are always extremely friendly and kind and just the best people. This place is just perfect in every way, it can't be beat!

Marys Bakery doesn't just have the best donuts and other treats in the Old Forge area, it is a destination! Owner Doug is an expert on local history and Joel, his right hand and counter wizard, entertains with an always friendly attitude and remarkable memory. Be prepared for a wait most days, but it is so worth it.

My all time favorite donuts. I've been coming here for years and they make everything fresh on the premises. Never disappointed. What most people would call donuts are actually termed frycakes. Every style of frycake is great with a slightly crisp outside and very soft inside. My absolute favorite is the plain frycake with chocolate frosting. The frosting has a rich not too sweet chocolate taste and smooth feel. If you really want to indulge, the cheese danish is to die for, if they have any left by the time you get there. It can easily be split by at least two people, otherwise half now means a snack for later. Coffee is good and they let you put in your own sweetener and choice of dairy creamer. Staff is super friendly. Self-seating with no service at a couple of tables outside. This place is worth the drive.

Excellent bakery! Get there early and expect to wait in line a little bit. Quirky staff makes the visit very enjoyable and entertaining - reminds me of the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld, but not at all in a negative way.
