I was so excited to pull up to this store on our way from Caroga Lake to Lake Placid. It had shirts hanging in the front and looked like they had all sorts of fun goodies. We were in need of a bathroom break and some snacks at the very least, but I like doing a little shopping in places like this. But I was told there was no bathroom we could use. Traveling with an 8 & 9 year old, we couldn't exactly stop and shop with no bathroom stop first, so sadly we had to go to the Mobile station down the road. I would much rather spend my money at cute looking places like The Lake Store, but with no available facilities, that was out the question. We even drove back to Caroga Lake that same day and probably would have stopped in again! Their loss!

It's the nicest store for fishing tackle and bait. They Also Sell Fresh GROCERIES Soda AND icecresm.They sell souvenirs also.
