We love Camp Driftwood. I have said this in past reviews as well. This October was our fourth year staying here and we always have great things to say. The cabins are warm, cozy and rustic. We've stayed in the Poplar cabin the last three trips but we liked Beech as well! The owners, Jon & Brenda, are very nice and have some great suggestions about what to do in the area. This year, I accidently left my tablet in the cabin and didn't realize it until we home, 3 hours away. Jon found, packaged it up and shipped it back to me.If you are looking for a peaceful mountain escape, this is the place to be!

So many hikes, jumping rocks, trees, views, and so much fun.Wear out the kids in the lake, they sleep like logs in the mountain air, and there’s plenty of nearby attractions to take advantage of as well. (Edited by HJ)Nearby activities: The Adirondack Experience (Museum), Gore Mountain (year-round) or rafting the Hudson if you’re looking for something more adventurous.

Camp Driftwood is magical! We spent a week up here to get away from the city for a week. We’re so glad we found this gem! The cabin was sparkling clean, with beautiful touches and attention to detail, and was stocked with all of the necessities for a week at the lake. We spent a lot of time on the water — sailing and rowing up and down beautiful Indian lake. We’re so glad to have found this place. We reserved a week next year and already can not wait to go back! The owners are wonderful! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! Peace & Love

What a pleasant surprise at such a great price!Upon very later arrival, we found the porch light on to welcome us. A stone path let us past our personal fire pit to the first outer porch, then the screen porch and finally into the glowing floor to ceiling knotty pine cabin. Beautiful, cozy.We sleep like logs on the comfortable, firm queen bed, listening to the leaves and the water lap along the shoreline. In the morning light, our breath was taken away by the beautiful surroundings we found ourselves in. While there are other cabins in the camp, you don't really see or hear them because of how they are all situated. If you need to get away, and love nature, Camp Driftwood is the place.The firewood is part of the low cost but due to gas heat we didn't bother with the mess of a fire. Also available for free for your enjoyment are several canoes, kayaks and a little sailboat. There is a charming lean to where you can watch your little ones swim and the owner revealed the BEST fishing spot. We didn't take a pet, but I know at least dogs are welcome.What a wonderful retreat! Can't wait to go back!!

Great place - true to advertising. Beautiful on the lake and in the cabin. Great fireplace. Hot shower. Easy to get in and out of the water and manage the boats. My dog loved the hikes nearby. I’ll probably be back if I can.

We stayed at Camp Driftwood for a week during October and it was amazing. The cabins are very nice and the location is perfect for worthwhile visit to the Adirondacks. Their facilities included canoes and kayaks which we took advantage of to visit Norman's cove and then hike to Baldface Mountain for a scenic view of the length of Indian Lake. Amazing place, great value and fantastic owners. I'd highly recommend it. We are from Kentucky and we will be making the trip back again next year we liked it so much.

I've had the pleasure of spending time in Apple and Balsam. Both are perfectly rustic, eclectic and comfortable. Thanks to Jon for allowing us the opportunity on short notice to spend Memorial Weekend on the property. See you again soon!

Screened in porch had a table to eat on and lake view. When it rained there were puzzles already there. Boats were easily accessable. Lake is beautiful. Cabin lighting was a little dim. I would go there again and for a little extra a night we got to bring my dog 🐕

Loved Camp Driftwood. Just spent 2 nights and plan to go back. We had some wet weather but it didn't matter. The cabin was very comfortable and super nice w a great private view. Sitting on the screened in porch listening to bird calls was heaven. Surveyed the immediate area and the pristine lake and can't wait to go back and explore more. This place is a gem of nature. Start packing!

We stayed here last month. The camp is wonderful. Very peaceful. The Vorhees family were fantastic. We cannot say enough good things. We hope to return every year and stay in the same cabin. We absolutely LOVED IT!

We loved the "Apple" cabin..Had everything we needed for a warm, cozy and relaxing weekend. Kids loved exploring the rocky shore and marshmallows on the fire..We will be back!

Just the best, most relaxing place. Their cabins and facilities (and the fresh air) will do more to lower your blood pressure than any medicine.
