Two stars only for the pharmacy.There was no one at checkout, when I called someone over to check me out, a lady with a cart full of items cut in front of me. The cashier just started to ring her up without honoring the people who stood in line. I ended up not purchasing anything and just left.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My friend with Tourette’s was having an episode, and two employees were laughing at her. The environment felt very unsafe. My friend was embarrased to check out because she actually thought she would be accepted in this time and age. The employees were a young woman and man closing on Friday night. I’m very hurt by this whole situation seeing as we are loyal costumers.

Amazing deals trough out all the store, also very well assorted. You can get from pet food, to vitamins, essentials for the car and the house, candies and drinks. Store it's little empty and not to well organized. Boxes everywhere almost every day. Slow check out and No costumer service.

This place doesn’t deserve even a single star. Worst place ever!!! Poor and arrogant customer service. Doctor prescribed the medicine and they called it would be ready, and at the store they say it will only be ready by next day, And it’s the pain medicine for the person who had knee surgery!!

Please save your time do not use this store for any type of photo service. I had multiple issues with this store regarding their photo department.One of the issues was simple online order:I had ordered online purchase to be shipped to this location. I received confirmation my ordered was delivered. When I went to pick up manager was so rude and told me to come back after three days. The staff is very unprofessional !!!

Worst pharmacy in New Hyde Park. Sat on the phone for 40 mins, to the point I went to the building and watched the staff sit behind the counter on their cell phones ignoring the pharmacy phone ring. Waste of time. Go to CVS

I am only giving you one star because ZERO Stars is not an option! Your pharmacy has the absolute nastiest and rudest employees. I have never been more angry. After calling and confirming you had a prescription (Paxlovid) in stock before having it sent to your pharmacy (Mind you I waited on hold was hung up on. Called back. Waited again for about 30 minutes NO EXAGGERATION !!). Find out you had it. Called back to make sure you received the prescription another waste of 20 minutes. Said I was on the way. Was told 30 minutes. Arrived in 30 minutes no prescription ready yet was told 20 more minutes. Waited. Still not ready because you don’t have it in stock are you kidding me !!! What kind of place is this!!! You need better managers, more staffing. Proper communication and then some. Really shameful and poorly run pharmacy. Walgreens in general is not the best but this store is a complete sham!!! Take pride in your staffing would any of you want your families treated the way you treat customers!!! Get it together!!! Absolute disgrace!!!!

I went to pharmacy today at Walgreens, there were two Indian or paki nationality guys and there was an old lady customer in front of me. The two guys were making fun of her by talking in Hindi. It is very rude to talk in any other language at work place making customer uncomfortable. I know Hindi but I will never do this at work place or make any customer feel uncomfortable by talking in another language. When it was my turn I asked for alternate medicine for my infant who was having fever the pharmacist in white and his helper in blue uniform didn’t bother to help and again start talking in Hindi in front of me. These people who are passing judge mental comments about customer should be fired. This is not India this is USA and as a Indian I know that too if you want to make fun of someone in another language talk to your coworker after work once you get home not in front of customer. I will never go this Walgreens again. I told him all meds for infants are out of stock and what is alternate for Tylenol and ibuprofen he didn’t help at all. Can’t believe unempathic people like this become pharmacist not because they care but only for sake of money. Such a shame! Zero stars!

All the 1 Star reviews of this place are justified. Terrible service. Often only there's only one line for picking up scrips, dropping them off, getting tests or getting shots. I"m handicapped and find it hard to stand for long periods of time...yet the wait there might 20 or more minutes, standing on line before you even get to talk to someone about why you even came to this place at all. Too many times, I've had to go back twice after having a script called hours before...going there and finding out that the script wasn't yet filled. Generally, I find this place a pretty unpleasant experience!

Went today to pick up my photo order which was supposedly ready since the morning. I show up, and after waiting for nearly 15 minutes for someone to even show up at the counter, the cashier rudely asks for my information. Her name is Anum. She then proceeds to spend a very long time trying to find the pictures in my order, which is fine, but then she starts showing me pictures of other people asking me if these are mine. That’s so inappropriate. Once finally finding my order, without even an apology for the long wait she rings me up while gossiping with another worker in their language and then abruptly says “byeHorrible customer service. They need to hire better staff. Agree with other comments that the register only has one worker despite long lines. The manager is supposedly named Fatima (according to Anum)she probably needs to set better standards.

On a Monday morning (Feb 28,2022 around 8:15 am), I just wanted to grab a ginger ale because my son wasn’t feeling well. Only one staff in the store that I see chatting with one of the customers, then she pretended that she’s helping. After I said hello how are you? She came to the register and she left saying oh I have to help someone. Okay I am waiting patiently. Then after few minutes, she came and she started calling the people from back saying they have been waiting meanwhile I am standing right infront of the register and the can of ginger ale is on the table. I told I was here first, can u check me out (Line was empty and I was the first one on line, ppl started coming afterwards). She keep on arguing , no they came first!!!!!!!!! May be I am not the same skin color as she or the customers waiting in the back!!!!! Staff is A WHITE TALL PASS MIDDLE AGE WOMAN!!! If u r racist, don’t work in these type of places SO RUDE!!!!!

I booked an appointment for Covid test for my wife on Walgreens site which was scheduled for Aug 10, 2022 at 3:15 pm. At 3:02 pm I am told on phone to get her tested at CVS pharmacy as they don’t cover Fidelis care. Wish they had better managed their site and avoided this inconvenience. Surprisingly I got an email reminding for this very appointment. God bless….

I shop at this Walgreens because it is close to my home and is convenient because I do not drive and is within walking distance . Unfortunately this is the best thing I can say about it. I dont know where you are. Hiring your staff from. They are rude, unfriendly and do nothing to help customers. They behave as though we are intruding on their space. They need some training in social graces and customer service. In addition many items are locked which leads me to believe there is lots of theft going on. I would look into this. Maybe you need a security guard (hopefully unarmed}!! I hope you can do something about this situation before you lose more customers.

Arjun and Alonzo are the two best customer service reps that I have ever crossed path with. This duo is simply unstoppable when it came to helping me find my Dr. Bronner's 18 and one ointment. Some would compare these two to Kobe and Shaq or even Jordan and Pippen. Whenever I step foot in the establishment, these two are ready to help and will go that extra mile to make sure that I walk out with a smile on my face. Kudos to these gentlemen, keep it up lads.

Was scheduled for a COVID test only to arrive to my appointment (on time) and was told there were no more tests and my appointment was cancelled even though I never was notified it was cancelled. This is beyond outrageous. You work in health care where patients rely on your services. We didn’t even get an apology or any sympathy for my being sick for days and struggling to find a test anywhere.

I checked on the web that this Walgreens has in stock rubbing alcohol weeks ago. I went to the store before it opened the following morning. I was among the first customers being let in. On going in, the lady monitoring the shopper flow announced that there were no alcohol and no face masks. She was there all the time while we the shoppers were waiting for the door to open. I wonder why she didn't announce this earlier so as not to waste the time of shoppers coming for those items. I hope Walgreens can be more accurate online on what and where they have stock of high demand items. Everyone is having a hard time in the thick of this covid pandemic and there are important and possible things that Walgreens can do to make life a little easier.

Great deals here -much better than cvs and the rest!!! Nice selection of face masks, I have bought jeggings here and I wear them all the time. Cute holiday gifts near the candy area too!! The nice brand has pretty decent chocolate pretzels as well. It usually always looks organized, I never feel cramped here!! Love Walgreens!!!

I never been to a place so poorly run so lost the ability to do their job properly I was astounded all day I waited for my prescription it was simple I was at the dentist I needed some antibiotics and some Tylenol with codeine. Because a tooth was pulled I was told that there was a delay to my insurance for the Tylenol with codeine it was 12 pills. The prescriptions were placed at 11 a.m. by 4 in the afternoon that is p.m. I called and asked what is the problem they said there was an insurance problem then I said that is impossible all of a sudden then oh there was no problem come by 5 p.m. to pick up my prescriptions I arrived at 5:20 p.m. I was told that not ready yet this is 12 pills that I was told I have to drive around and park and come inside to pick it up. I refuse I was at the drive-in window I told them simply you take 12 pills put them in a vial put the label on it and that's all you need to do. After 15 minutes of arguing with these people and once again I was told I have to go inside or go around the building at least one time to pick up the pills funny they were sitting right there on the counter it's not a ineptness it's not stupidity it's just sheer ignorance of the stupid people that work there be careful of anything you got there and I will never go back there again guaranteed. From now on it's any place else but Walgreens.

The amount of money my family spends in this store is absurd. My grandmother came in here the other day and spent $16.13 she bought a nail polish which was $3.19 it was rung up, and they did not put it inside her bag. She called explaining the situation and they hung up on her. She went back to this Walgreens and the employee kelly was disrespectful and rude, she would not help her at all. She kept saying how she would watch the tapes but never did. We went back today to talk to the manager and she was no help ethier she kept walking away and leaving. Everyone who works there is rude. The manager did not help at all it was pointless. We will be calling cooperate. It is not the $3.19 that is the promblem it’s the point, we come here every week and spend money. Staff is horrible.

I was there on 07/31 at 7:45 pm to buy over the counter medicines and photo prints. Pharmacists Lovin refuse to open door or gave me code of restroom & he was very nasty when I ask his name to make complaint about him.also he put his hand on name tag.Not a good store for shopping as well as prescription.Amanda was helpful.

When for a pre-scheduled COVID test for my kids, where there is an increasing number of COVID cases, the school says that they do not offer and have to get it on their own. Get reminder E-mail same day to go, arrived (about an hour drive per traffic redesigned to relief traffic), and say they have been out since yesterday. He says I have to register again where they cannot reschedule for me. Then on their system, it says I wrote already.

The worst run place. If you can’t deliver same day photo pick up, then don’t do it. I went to pick up my photos at 5;00 when they should have been ready at 3:00. The manager Jowayne said it is not ready and doesn’t know why and said I willPrint them and walked away. 25 mins later I finally find someone to help me, and they say there’s no photos here. He then says sorry printer isn’t working and tries to reassemble printer. I wait another 10 mins while they try and fix it and another 10 to be printed and finally the photos are done. Then, he asks me to pay for it even though it is already done online.

Been on the phone for over 1 hour just to check the status on a prescription. Constantly being put on hold, they pick up and put me on hold. Such a shame for the community.
