Grand opening day! My mom told me there were open so i went there after visiting. I needed dog food and target has the brand he likes. Love target. During the pandemic, target was my go to weeknight entertainment back in Cali. Late hour shopping is the best. Tons of parking here. 10pm when there are no crowds. Bonus is that it's quiet. I know ot just opened... soft opening last week. (Today is Sunday) but still super clean. Three floors and they have everything. Seems like they have new products too. I hope the store stays like this. Staff seemed super friendly. I'm writing this review as i sit in the car enjoying my Pacific Coast Pistachio Gelato!

Lots of parking in Lake Success Plaza but the shopping carts lock up not too far into the lot which already results in people abandoning them in the one lane wide areas. It makes sense the store is more vertical given the foundations but the overall placement is questionable. Checkout is all the way to the back (although lots of lines so good for throughput) but the Starbucks is right in front. Would've been better for the groceries to be on the central floor rather than the basement. Prices were okay but like others said, it's not as cheap as you'd expect from a Target. Selection was okay as well but a bunch of things sold out which is typical for their first week opening as they learn their general inventory needs. Staff by checkout seemed nice. It was very weird the cart storage area in the parking lot had no rails. I would be afraid to park my car next to it. Otherwise, the store and its bathrooms were clean.

It's nice to have a Target in the area that's a little closer than Westbury but I do agree with other reviewers about the layout. It throws me off that the groceries are downstairs. I went today (70 degrees outside) and it was so warm in the store, I felt like I was going to pass out. Was told by employee that they have no control over their AC.

I am so happy this has finally opened, after waiting over 4 long years! It was so nice to walk into a brand new Target. Everything was clean and neatly organized! The layout is very different than a regular Target store, so I had fun walking around and exploring. It may take some time to get used to since there are 3 floors. My cell service surprisingly worked in the “concourse” level (basement). Overall 5/5 from me!Edit: reducing my rating because groceries are more expensive here! The closest Target has now become the most inconvenient Target. Why in the world would they do that? I really hope they adjust it!

Very clean and organized. Smaller than others, yes, but I will definitely be frequenting this location.Entering and exiting parking lot is limited and tricky. Cart conveyor alongside escalators IS EVERYTHING!!😎

I was happy when I heard that a new target was opening up near me. From the exterior it looks really nice and brand new. Though when I went in, I noticed a few things that were off. The store’s layout isn’t well thought out. The grocery section is small and is in the basement level. Furthermore, this target has higher grocery prices than other targets in nearby areas such as, the target in college point and the target in flushing’s skyview mall.

I have been waiting for this store to open for a long time. I visited today and was very disappointed. The entire store is laid out very poorly. The grocery department is downstairs. The shelves are pretty empty and there was a very limited selection of food items. The entire grocery department appears to be much smaller than the stores in Garden City and 20th Ave in College Point. Lastly, the parking is awful and there are a limited amount of handicapped parking spaces.

I really like this Target! It is new perfectly stocked. Plenty of employees. It has everything from bedding, clothing, school supplies, makeup.

It's a shame i wanted to love the new location. Don't know about all inventory, but they definitely charge more for some grocery items than in nearby locations like Elmont and Westbury. Unfortunately they refused to price match. Sorry, but in this economy they should price match. Be mindful of prices there. I wanted to love this new location but not with pricing being a dollar more.

I was so excited to finally have a Target close by, but this store is a big disappointment. Get rid of the Starbucks and all of the space being used for checkout. There most likely will only be two cashiers working there anyway. There were literally two racks of women's shoes and the clothing section is extremely small. Somehow, when Sears was located here they had more clothing options. I didn't see much inventory for home goods either. I guess I'll stick with the new Burlington Coat Factory and Macy's Backstage for clothes shopping unless the layout improves here.

Very bad experience. Employee Jada wasn’t letting us go downstairs at 10:45p to look for a birthday card because they close at 11pm. I’ve never been asked to leave a target location and checkout 15 minutes early because the registers will be closing. Couldn’t buy anything.

Highly disappointed!!! Horrible layout which is not conducive for the elderly or people with disabilities. The groceries are in the basement,pricey,and limited. Targets would do better by scaling back on so many registers and downsizing Starbucks to a corner so can fit more merch!!!

Loved it! Came here on their very first “soft opening” referred by that from the very sweet & helpful general manager “Geri” on April.13th and it was crazy packed. It’s a nice size target and not entirely huge like valley stream or college point. It’s more like the one in Elmont in a sense. When you need something quick, this is the place to go. I’m very happy they opened up in the area!

Very small and does not have much inventory felt like. The beauty section and clothing section are very small which is mainly what I go to target for. When I heard of how large this store would be I was expecting a super target but it kind of reminds me of the one in Elmont to be honest. If I'm going to make a target run I'd choose westbury or Hicksville over this one. They didn't even have a big snack isle either. It's good to have close by for quick things I may need but overall was very underwhelming.

The Starbucks in this new Target is amazing. Super modern and inviting. Ginamarie the barista prepares exceptional beverages and is so kind, patient and helpful. Thank you!
