Long time shopper, never going again. Went to customer service to break a $100 and they checked if it was real with the whole store before breaking it. Not a POC friendly store unless you like being treated like a criminal.

Its ok, it's a little older but I haven't noticed anything that would be a red flag. It's on the Northside of Route 9, just past Barnes and Nobles, but before Burlington Coat Factory. The only thing I noticed was they're not on top of restocking the shelves all the time...or not done as quickly as other supermarkets. I would give Price Chopper on Route 9 as the closest example of this supermarket.

Staff is helpful for the most part a lot of rude people too though. Prices are expensive. But all in all same as other stores in the area. Their produce is always very good and the shelves are always neatly stocked. Check out normally takes a while unless he use self-checkout. It seems like they only have two check out lines open at a time so the lines tend to get backed up. All-in-all not a horrible shopping and they normally have everything that we need

Vegetables look okay now. Mayonnaise has been restocked. Store was clean. Things have improved. Great store for food in the area. Nice and empty during the Superbowl.

Imagine trying to shop for meat and u see human hair wrapped up in some of the chicken! No hair nets? So unsanitary smh the meat team should be ashamed! Then you look at the price yikes 😱

What's the point in having digital coupons if your wifi sucks so bad that it just spins the whole time your in the store. I will be taking my business to Shop Rite!! Extremely frustrating 😡

It's a grocery store, but it's clean, has a nice little pre made hot self serve food station, a decent variety of food and drinks, one issue it seems the locals say it's a bit pricey. But what isn't these days.

Terrible grocery store. Don’t go. Managers won’t even let you use a gift card you bought that day. There’s a reason why they make minimum wage and work a Poughkeepsie grocery store, not the brightest individuals.

Genuinely alright to shop here. It's frustrating when they don't have things I need that I know they carry. Some of the staff is happy and helpful. Others not so much.Updated 2/8/22It's nice to see the new setup and the new items especially for those of us that have special diets. Some items are still hard to acquire (not the fault of the store) and it can be a bit frustrating. Produce has gotten better as far as quality. Navigation since the change around is a bit of a struggle. Some staff is not as friendly as I hoped.Updated: 8/21/22.I dropped this down to two stars which is being generous. I ordered a cake from this bakery. The cake was 98% wrong. I asked for a garden gnome (where the only part of his face was his nose) the girl took a picture of the gnome picture I showed her on my phone. The cake was supposed to be green like a green grass garden with flowers and the gnome that I asked for. The bottom layer was supposed to be chocolate and the top layer marble with a raspberry filling. The only thing right to this cake was the raspberry filling. This is the second cake I have gotten here. The first fell apart before I even left the store because the cake was assembled while still got. Absolutely horrible cake. Completely disappointed. I will never again buy a cake from them. The only reason why they got 2 stars is because the manager tried to make it right and the rest of the store has been making improvements. Don't bother ordering a cake from there. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Rotten fruit and vegetables, food on the floor, moldy cheese on shelves and expired dairy products. It was a 15 minutes wait to get 1lb of meat sliced, when there was only 3 people in front of me. It was ONLY 15 minutes because 1 of the 3 people gave up waiting and left.3 cashier's were working with massive lines and the manager had her face resting in her palms at the customer service desk doing nothing.I find it silly to write a review of a grocery store, but it was beyond insane.

Editing this from my previous review below. Management seems to have truly taken my complaint to heart. Not only is there now a smaller, but better selected gluten-free section, but the section has several items I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. There are also more gluten-free frozen options available, and I appreciate that, too. I don’t eat gluten-free to be trendy, but because of severe health/digestive reasons. I came to this as an adult, so I have a lifetime of memories of how delicious foods with gluten are, and what a wide range of foods there are that contain gluten. I still want to eat those kinds of foods, and I’m willing to pay for them, and I’m not alone—as evidenced by the very expensive gluten-free restaurant in town. Think about me and people like me when you’re placing your store orders! We’ll be there to shop! Thanks for paying attention and making changes. I’ll be back!PREVIOUS REVIEW: It’s true the store has been due for a remodel, and I like that there are now more self-serve check outs. But that won’t matter because in the process of remodeling they decided to do away with the gluten-free section of the store. Now all the gluten-free products are mixed in with regular products, so what used to be convenient and customer-friendly is now a fruitless Easter egg hunt. I searched for the bread in the long and extensive bread aisle. Without exaggeration, I would estimate that there are probably 50 different kinds of regular bread on that aisle. Different brands, different types, different forms. Sliced bread, rolls, baguettes, buns… Gluten-free bread? One brand (that I don’t like), on a display stand in the aisle like an afterthought, in a few different flavors. That’s it. Imagine going into a store to buy bread, and all there is are a few loaves of WonderBread. You can have white, you can have whole grain, or you can have cinnamon and raisin, but you’d better like WonderBread! And you don’t. Would you go back? I won’t. If there are any of the several other gluten-free breads they used to carry, I sure the heck couldn’t find them. If customer service is really about customer service, they’ve gone in the wrong direction.

Go here a few times a week on average. Sometimes with my girlfriend sometimes without her. The lady that helps with the self check out is always extremely accommodating. They have a good selection of organic foods, which is a plus for me. Decent sales, and a small spot if you want to pick up some beer. Never a bad experience.

The shop from home service was awful today. Apparently they are having a computer issue but couldn't be bothered to tell their customers about it. Meanwhile, we are all lined up outside waiting for our orders. Hey Stop & Shop, maybe a little communication next time.

What with their remodeling, the place is a MESS. Never did find everything I needed/wanted. Lots of half empty shelves, and some items are totally missing. (I do understand that there are some supply-chain and production issues going on now, consequences of Covid.) I plan to go elsewhere until they get it better together...

I'm done coming here.I complained a year ago that every time I come alone, I never get audited. The MOMENT I come with my wife (black woman), I get audited. She hasn't shopped with me there in a year. Today is the first time in a year. She walks in. We get audited.I'm going to go shop at Shop Rite going forward. This is ridiculous.

Everyone is always friendly and willing to help you if you can't find something. I have always found it clean. Prices are a bit higher than other stores, I think. But they are the only store in town. So I guess they can. Less the 1 star for the prices.Love the fact that Stop & Shops have the yellow listings at the ends of each isle. They are great for finding items. Thank you for those!

I only come to this supermarket because it is convenient and a short distance from my home. The fruits and vegetables are a hit and miss. There has been a few times where my vegetables were spoiled the following day, which is unacceptable. Also, there are not much of a variety of vegetables. No fresh fish like snapper. Vegan aisle is minimal.I have encountered a few instances of rude customer service. One of the cashiers tossed my items in my face, and another one assumed that I was stealing. I should have not returned back, however, it is convenient and they have decent sales. Otherwise, I rather shop elsewhere where my money is appreciated.

Ok store could be improved if management took better quality control. Produce is hit or miss either great quality or items brand new from the truck already starting to spoil. I know because I’ve asked for items from staff that was still in the back not put out yet. Staff has always been nice to help with that. Same thing with the meat department hit or miss organic chicken never really available not even nature’s promise. Hit or miss once again. With almost 2 years of going here I can’t remember how many times I’ve gotten bad chicken as well. Once again store gave me no problems in taking it back. As far as your bakery goes how come you don’t carry BreadAlone? Otherwise store selections seem your average grocery items. The scan your own order feature seems good but for what ever reason I’ve been audited almost every time I go grocery shopping. Which isn’t a big deal to me must be some kind of a random number. The gas station is good option. We spend a good amount a week on groceries giving us a nice gas discount. I’ve seen management walking around before one of these times I’ll stop and mention something but until then here’s this to reflect on. 3 out of 5 because items of importance to me are hit or miss.

I bank at People's, so convenient. Got gas, too. One-stop shopping. Clean store. Didn't see the obnoxious robot today. Professional staff. I like the Nature's Promise organic line of products. ❤️💙

As I said before I love stop & shop, I think they are one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest grocery stores around. I especially love the florist department, such beautiful flowers and gorgeous arrangements at very affordable prices. The deli and the seafood counters are also great! We can't forget the bakery, they work so hard to give you what you want.... what a beautiful job they do on their cakes! Especially the ones you order yourself for pickup! Try one sometime, and yes, you can pick it up in 24 hours usually but I've gone in before work and picked it up the next morning and what a beautiful job!

Their selection is usually great, but the layout of the store drives me to madness every time. The management has made a game of putting as many displays in your way as they can, and it seems like the stockers are only on shift when everyone else gets off work and goes to the store. I've started going elsewhere.

So heres the thing I usually only go to this location but in recent times I’ve changed my mind, especially after today my son and I came in got some ice cream and a couple other things went to self check out and was hawked immediately by an employee, my son was leaning on the weight I asked him to back up and started to ring an item it didn’t scan and the register was talking so I was reading the screen an the employee came up between my young son and I grabbed my item and said it didn’t scan then he scanned it to assure I’m charged for all of my items I assumed and dropped it on the scale an walked away ! Welp there goes self check out and manners not even a hi do you need assistance very rude will not be shopping here again
